May 04 · IG PotatI have been in this pet store many times looking around picking up supplies I have bought animals in here twice now both times I did within 24 hours they've both died they were too completely different kinds of animals and animals that we've had in the past you know how to care for with a 24 hours dead and their policy is if it dies in 30 days will refund your money or replace it but they want you to bring in the animal!!So I called in to the store to see about the refund they wanted me to have the dead fish bring them to the store also a sample of the tank water that the fish was in before they gives you the refund I explain to her I was not keeping two dead fish until I made it back down there I only get down that area about once a month so they want me to keep the fish for when I came back down I told her the water sample wouldn't be any good because I'm not coming right back down there today and I had already emptied the tank to clean it out because of the dead fish they return policy is absurd I told her I won't make it back down there for probably another month cuz I had just been there I paid with my card and my Petco royalty number is on their system Missouri you know anyway to just refund it that way no they want you to come into the store so they can see your face and put in a system even though they're going to pull up my phone number on a system now and just refund it that way if you can get your pet anywhere else please do we know if you have any issues with them whatsoever you will not get anything resolved through this store The fact that I told her I don't come back down for another 30 days but she wanted me to bring the fish just is mind-blowing The fact I just want me to bring a water sample down even though I told her I wouldn't be down for 30 days is my blowing so please get your pet somewhere else
July 30 · michele SocoskiThis Petco is smaller than we are used to, but well organized. One employee was very attentive and helped us find an item. Very few sales. The cashier was pretty gruff and rude. She refused to finish my check-out as I asked, because she thought a person with me might possibly come later to the register with another item, which I knew probably would not happen. In 3 encounters with her, she was terse, unkind and unpleasant.
August 04 · SueTJ the manager is awesome. He is always a pleasure to see when I go in. He exemplifies what a manager should be. When I was in the store there other day there was 1 associate on the register, all others were with customers helping in other departments, the associate on the register had some technical difficulties that caused a line to build up...without hesitation TJ jumped on a register in grooming and started taking customers to help knock the line down. This dude deserves a raise, reward, and recognition for how well he handles his customers and store.
