Petco Introduce
For pet owners throughout Massachusetts, particularly in the southeastern part of the state, having a reliable and comprehensive resource for all things related to pet care is essential. The Petco store in Wareham, located at Wareham Crossing, serves as a central hub for everything from daily necessities to professional services. This well-known chain provides a wide array of products and services designed to meet the needs of all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and fish. It’s a convenient one-stop-shop that aims to make pet parenthood easier and more enjoyable for the local community.
The Petco in Wareham offers more than just a place to buy pet food and toys. It provides a full suite of on-site services that cater to the physical, mental, and social needs of pets. Among these are professional grooming services, which are a popular choice for local dog and cat owners. The grooming salon is staffed by certified groomers who perform services from baths and haircuts to nail trims and ear cleaning. The experience can vary, as highlighted in customer reviews. A positive testimonial praises the kindness and skill of a groomer, noting that they were "kind people" and that the service was great. On the other hand, another customer's experience was highly disappointing, citing a lack of flexibility and compassion from the grooming staff. The pet owner was upset that their dog would have to be crated for an extended period, leading to a frustrating situation despite their long-standing relationship and consistent tipping. This demonstrates that while the services are a great convenience, it's always best to communicate your pet's specific needs and your own expectations clearly.
Beyond grooming, this Petco location also offers other valuable services, including dog training classes and vaccination clinics. The presence of a Vetco clinic provides a convenient option for preventive care, such as routine vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping, without the need for a separate veterinary appointment. This integration of health services within the retail space is a significant advantage for busy pet owners. Additionally, the store is known for having helpful employees who are willing to share their knowledge, as noted by a first-time cat owner who learned "a lot" from the staff. This dedication to customer education fosters a supportive environment for new and experienced pet parents alike.

Petco Reviews
It was a great place and some kind people, I’ll give you that. But the disrespect to my family member is unreal. We tried to make it, we left a voicemail. We were heading over for two dogs to get groomed. We understand you’re busy. But I feel like we should be given more time. My aunt got upset and it’s very valid. She asked for only one dog to be groomed atleast. They said she would be in crate for 5 hours, my aunt denied because why would you want your dog in a crate for 5 hours. She always tipped well and it’s very disappointing. We got there 5 minutes after they said they will not be accepting. At the end of the day, it’s over with. We wish you luck in the future thank you
July 20 · Nessa HAlways an amazing experience. The employees are so helpful. 1st time cat owner, and they have all taught me a lot! Last 2 pictures, I forget the name of the toy... CAT OWNERS... BEST INVESTMENT I EVER MADE!
December 03 · Briana Raponii went to the vetco today and had the best vet and customer service experience EVER! this review might be long winded but im just so relieved to now have a vet that i can trust. i came in with my three kitties to get help with deworming/normal checkup, they fit me in super last minute and they took such good care of us!everyone was SO kind and understanding, absolute sweetheart Savannah helped me and my kitties with everything they needed. she made everything very easy to understand, helped me save the most money possible, great conversation and made sure my cats were comfortable and cared for. she even sat with my cats while i shopped around for a bit, and helped me carry them out to my car!! i can’t say enough how amazing my experience was.the whole crew was at the counter with me at the end, they took their time explaining everything thoroughly, helping me through signing up on the app, and saving me money where they could which i really really appreciate. the manager was so kind, saying that their main priority is making sure the pets are taken care of at an affordable price, no money grabbing or scammy vibes, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the previous vet experiences i’ve had. i’ll be coming back for EVERYTHING from now on and i’ll be taking my dog here too. i seriously can’t say enough how amazing and kind the staff is, also i recommend that other crazy cat ladies look into their vital care premier plan because it’s amazing. they made sure that my pets and i got the best care possible and i am very grateful!!
March 21 · Caryn HeiseI took my dog stormy to Vetco yesterday. I was seen right away no wait. The first woman who came in the room to get the info was very helpful and extremely nice to my dog. The vet came in next she was professional and listen to our concerns. The vet thought my dog might have a uti so we drove home got the urine from the dog and drove it back. (25 minutes each way). This morning I called for the results was quickly called back and told Stormy did have a uti and they would fill the medicines I needed I could pick them up in a hour so so. I got there and was charged 145.88 I did tell the woman that was really a lot of some antibiotics. Loving my pet I paid it. Got home looked at other places for the same exact medication and I could have paid $40.00! If you go there don’t fill your medication there. Hope this helps someone save a bit.
July 02 · Linda VieiraThe floor associate was helpful. As with the cashier was also, patient with trying to apply my coupon. Patience is always pleasant in customer service.
