August 25 · Nikolai PolivanovWe drove to three petco locations looking for a dog crate because my dog has an injury and needs to be on strict rest.We finally drove to Hollywood after being desperate for a crate and being assured that the crate was there. We arrive, get the new crate, drive 15 miles home, and the crate is used. It has FECES, hair, kibble, and it was absolutely disgusting. The smell was horrendous. We had to drive 15 miles back to Hollywood, and the cashier made us wait 35 minutes to even do the exchange. The cashier even said “I can’t believe there’s poop in here I’m so sorry.” But nothing beyond that?? No discount? I’m astonished by the garbage customer service and how this even ended up back on the shelf.

October 26 · SayyoraThey cancelled my dog's grooming appt 30mins before the appointment. I called in and the guy is not very good at customer service. I was anticipating for them to atleast say sorry, but did not. Didnt offer any alternative schedule neither. Very dismissive. I had to ask him the next available slot, Instead of him telling me. Very bad experience. I am frustrated. Not reliable grooming schedules.
April 26 · Beverly TolentinoPut an online order for an ointment my dog needs for her infection. I get the email saying it's ready so I head over and when I arrive to pick up the order the cashier tells me that there is no order for me. I check my email and it says I picked it up, so I speak to the manager Nancy and she says word for word. "Oh we didn't have it in stock on the floor so I marked it as picked up"Excuse me? If it's not in stock why would you ever mark it picked up? Now I have a charge on my card for something I don't have.I did not know she was the manager as she had no tag or anything so I asked to speak to the manager for a refund to which she replies to I am the manager. I asked her why she thought it was fine to mark it as picked up? To which she kept saying it wasn't in stock so I just marked it picked up? I asked her the other option I put on the pick up to which she said she didn't check and didn't know what it was. At that point I asked for a refund and she said she could not help me and to call corporate. Extremely rude and unprofessional by her. She should not be a manager if she is making mistakes like that which costs the customer time and money. She asked to see my email and then proceeded to delete the email. I wish I was making any of this up but wow was I treated with the worst service possible. I still never got an answer as to why you marked it picked up by ME, even though it was out of stock. Sounds like theft to me.Edit: Also I'm 99% sure she was under the influence of weed. She approached me with no name tag, messy clothes and hair, with a slow speech and kept repeating the same sentences over and over instead of trying to help me out for the mistake she made. I'm sure even the associates know that if something is out of stock, you mark it out of stock. This was right before closing so now I have to wait til tomorrow for my dog to get her ointment. Hopefully it doesn't get worse over the night.Edit #2: after reading more reviews seems like their is an issue with the cleanliness and smell and keeping stock of the store. Nancy is doing a poor job running her store if her inventory stock is never updated or full and the store smells as soon as you walk in.
