★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We've taken our three cats to Dr. K. since we moved to the area in 2016, and I wouldn't have it any other way. You want your vet to be an animal lover and advocate, to care deeply about what they do, and to show compassion, empathy, and affection to their charges. Dr. K. embodies all of this and more. She bends over backwards for clients and goes out of her way to provide quality care. We love her and Kayla!
February 23 · Lauren BrownI was always treated poorly here. Finally got to reviewing. The staff were always short with me and did not take my concerns seriously which lead to extreme discomfort for my pup. They acted like I never paid for services when I always paid on time which I never understood. My dog was trembling when we went to get bandages removed and I was heartbroken. They said it was my fault she was scared. Thankfully she’s been great at her new veterinarian (somehow not traumatized and trembling) even after getting a spay. Embarrassed to say I let them do this to my dog at Harvard Family.
July 21 · MorganI am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving. My original review is below:I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!
February 05 · Jaclyn pThe vet was so accommodating, squeezed us in for an emergency visit right before a holiday weekend.
July 03 · Nora ShineWe have been taking our pets (2 dogs and a cat) to Dr. Koretsky for about the last 5 years. She is a fabulous veterinarian who is most concerned about what's in the best interest of your animal companion. She doesn't rush and makes a special effort to take all the time needed to listen to your questions and explain your pet's health and treatment options. Kayla helps Dr. K run this small clinic in a very personalized way and she's always happy to help you in a very prompt way whether you need a prescription filled, records sent, a referral made, or with her gentle caring manner when helping Dr. K treat your pet. I would highly recommend Harvard Family Pet Clinic to anyone in the local area who is looking for personalized service and care in a place where you feel like part of their Family!
