★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had the best experience with House Paws. We got a quick appointment, check in was easy, they got us in to a room promptly, and explained everything. I unfortunately had to put my girl, Athena, to sleep, but Dr. Davis and vet tech(Amy, I think) were wonderful and kind and took care of me falling apart and let my husband and 3 year old son come say goodbye to her too (and even took my son outside to see the fish, so he didn't have to be in the room). They made sure Athena had all the treats & Hershey kisses and made sure she was comfortable. We cannot thank House Paws enough for their support & love during this time. ❤️
June 11 · Megan MetelskyAs of two years ago, House Paws is my primary vet and I wanted to shout out some of their amazing employees below.Dr. Page - our primary vet. Compassionately assisted with a euthanasia and is a wonderful primary vet for our 3 cats and 1 dog. He does not push vaccines for our cats if it would not be in their benefit (they do not go outside). He was very patient when our dog got growly.Heather - has a wonderful disposition and has helped us on numerous occasions.Ethan - has been our tech numerous times and he is very gifted with animals. He also has balls of steel because our German Shepherd Molly (who is not super friendly) sniffed him in the face and he didn’t even flinch lolTabitha - watched over my kitten Wolfie when he was fixed and was very nice when she called us for pickup.Pictures are included below so you can maybe put a face to a name. The orange and white is my cat that passed, Ollie. Also pictured are our current fur babies - Ranger, Scout, Wolfie, and Molly!
May 21 · Madeline WarnerI have had house paws come to my home 3 years now for my kitty’s yearly checkup. Each year when I call to make the appointment, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating to my busy schedule. My kitty, Lexi, has epilepsy and for her safety, I have had them provide her veterinarian care in my home. Last year, Dr Page was her vet. I cannot say enough amazing things about his care for my baby girl. This year, I requested him again. Dr Page arrived yesterday with Dr. Krall who was just as amazing as him. Lexi does not particularly care for anyone other than me and she can be quite difficult. She also is prone to seizures when she is overly scared or anxious. However, Dr Page and Dr Krall treated her with such kindness and managed to perform her exam, cut her nails, and draw her labs with such calmness and ease, without upsetting her too much! The 3 of us were in my tiny bathroom with Lexi but they professionally completed everything with no complaints. The way they spoke to her and handled her was so appreciated by me. Dr Page explained everything to me in detail throughout the appointment and before they left, leaving me fully informed on the care Lexi was provided. Today they followed up with me and provided me with her lab results. The staff member who called was so friendly and also explained all her lab values to me. So from start to finish, I am extremely happy with House Paws and their amazing staff. I 100% recommend them for any pet needs and care!
July 11 · Stacey KI did not have a good experience with them I have in the past. They came in my dog's stomach was filled with fluid they took fluid out told me it was cancer gave me meds and told me the dog had less than a month to live and this will keep him comfortable and give him an appetite. Unfortunately with all the fluid that was build up in the abdomen the dog could not eat and he couldn't walk with all the weight. They did not even take the fluid to a lab to be tested. Then when I text them about all this their response was that the dr. Lisa said that she wasn't 100% sure of the diagnosis and the dog need to be hospitalized. That was not said to me when she came into my home. I will not use them again. And furthermore Dr Lisa was not compassionate. I'm so upset there's a lot more to be said but I will be writing a novel all I can say is if I could have gave her no stars I would have. If you want a doctor that's thorough she's not the one!!! I am adding to this review based on reading the feedback of house paws. You are so concerned about the one star I gave you but I didn't see that concerned about my dog when you entered my house. You could have done further testing. I am not going to get into it I am not going to change my mind.
April 08 · Joanne LerroNote: I do not use my real last name on my google account. They are feigning ignorance because they don't want to admit how terribly they cared for my girl! TLDR: Cancer missed on dental X-ray and later drained multiple times, likely increasing my cat's pain and the spread of the cancer. This happened a few years ago, and I'm still not over it. I noticed my senior cat was not acting like herself, so I had them run some tests. They didn’t find anything but a couple of bad teeth. We decided to get the bad teeth removed and thought this would help her. Not long after the procedure, she had one of her longer teeth removed, but it looked like it was growing back but purple! We took her back, and they drained it. It came back again, and the vet said, "I have no idea what this is," as she drained it again. Of course, it came back because you're not supposed to drain CANCER! This was something the vet should have seen when she did the dental X-rays! I worked in dental, so I know the cancer would have been seen there. I feel like my girl was tortured, and her cancer grew more aggressively due to this vet's incompetence. Btw this was the owner of the practice. Of course, we had suspicions that she had cancer, but we were a family that didn't want to believe our beloved and loyal cat was dying. It was the vet's job to find the cancer, not ours. This practice failed our little girl, and I want them to know it!
