★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had an appointment at 9:30 and my gps took me to a different location so when I had to reset the gps it wasn’t loading quickly and I had to ask for directions which then took me back on 81 and caused me to drive another 7 minutes out of the way . I had my 6 year old with me and my large dog . I arrived at 950 and I have to say I previously reached due to COVID and I did give notice . I walked in and the young girl looked very pleasant at the counter there was one other patient in the waiting area. Working for a doctor and also being a very well k own vets relative in the area I have never felt so insulted and spoken down to in front of t of my 6 year old by the woman named Jessica . Her whole look and deminar was very rude and not nice at all . I provided my number when schedualing and she had called my fiancé who was at work . I couldn’t answer his calls cause my gps was dropping signal . And I was very lost . As I’m not familiar with the area. I called to offer a payment cause I was informed she stressed the policy . I’m sorry accidents happen and more human people would understand and just take the next appointment. Then try to accommodate the patient who was with a child and large dog and accidentally got lost . This woman had such aweful people skills and she spoke to me like a child . My own 6 year old asked me what was wrong with her and said she didn’t want to ever go back cause of the mean lady . I understand I was late I apologized but it could’ve been handled properly and not in a very rude manor . The young nice lady next to her looked a me with a look like she felt bad and knew miss jessica was being very awkwardly rude . Even the phone conversation was very awkward . Maybe she needs a hug or a couple but upon leaving I spoke with multiple people who felt the same about her way of speaking to people . So I’m glad it wasn’t just me thinking how can someone be so rude especially in front of a child . I applaud you for your warm welcome and understanding of the situation Jessica I hope you encounter the same when someone and something you love needed the help . Shane on you for not handling it better my daughter will remember you now as the mean lady at the vet clinic . I’ve never met a person so rude and talks to people like they are idiots . Handled poorly. Update 8/25/25 our boy has cancer thank you kindly for turning us away when we needed that appointment as I knew it was a serious matter . I couldn’t control that I had Covid and had to reschedule then my gps took me elsewhere and 20 min in an opposite direction . Very disappointed with the treatment and how your employee spoke to me no consideration at all . Very unprofessional.
August 24 · Jamie Lynn PerrinsDr. Clarke and the staff at this facility are all so wonderful and compassionate. I was recommended to bring my cat here for an urgent care visit last year, which I had to do twice, and they got us in immediately each time. We've recently had to make the very heavy and difficult choice to help my fur baby over the rainbow bridge and she was so kind and patient the whole time. Her and her techs made sure he was as comfortable as possible and gave me as much time as I needed with him before and after. I can't thank them enough for the services they've provided.
August 12 · Aleyah MaholikI cannot say enough good things about Dr. Clarke. She is so sweet, knowledgable, compassionate and never rushes me when I have a million and one questions regarding my senior dog that has cancer along with heart issues. Thank you, Dr. Clarke for your kindness and patience with me, and my spicy old man. It doesn't go unnoticed!
April 03 · Brittany RybnickToday I had an emergency with my cat. I contacted the Dickson City office, explained the situation & the staff member immediately made an appt for me at the Throop office. I apologize for not remembering her name. When I arrived at the Throop office they were ready for me. The technician did an amazing thorough exam. She treated my cat with such gentleness. When meeting the veterinarian, they both handled her as if she was theirs. They answered questions & explained everything patiently & completely. My cat, unfortunately, would not have had good quality of life & I made the difficult decision. The technician came in with a beautiful soft blanket for her, told me to take all the time I needed. Their compassion went above & beyond anything I've experienced as a lifetime pet owner. I could have asked for a more peaceful & gentle journey for Luna. Thank you could never be enough. The dignity with which you treated her was beyond measure.
May 14 · Debora DoyleI’m a first time cat owner, who just got two 12 week old kittens from the same litter, and chose this veterinarian’s office by good word of mouth. We truly could not be more happy with how amazing it was. From the second we walked into the door, immediately the staff was warm, helpful and friendly, and even went the extra mile to take each kitten out of their carrier to hold and walk around to greet other staff so they weren’t scared.Veterinarian, Dr. Megan Lewis, and her veterinary technician, Anneliese, were also incredibly kind, caring and informative, and made the stress of their first wellness and vaccinations appointment a breeze, to say the least! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for, or in need of any veterinary care!
