★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Although the wait was long, it’s understandable as a walk in 24 hour emergency vet. The TVs in the waiting area are really helpful to pass the time. Everyone on the staff was super nice, the techs were gentle with my nervous pup, and the vet Christopher Drastura was very patient explaining everything and answering all my questions. I highly recommend. Just make sure you put on your patient hat because you will be there long. I was there for 4.5 hours but it was worth it on a Sunday where I was able to just walk in and get same day care for my Pom-a-Chon.
June 01 · Eva PeacockI brought my dog Fenway to NorthStar last night. He had been yelping like I never heard before, very frightening. They helped move Fenway out of my car into the hospital. Gail, Amber, Belinda, Dr Lee, and another vet tech, who had already punched out of work, were so kind and patient with Fenway. It was soreassuring and comforting to me when they took him to be examined. Dr Lee came out and spoke to me as to what was being done and let me know Fenway was going to be just fine!!I can’t say enough good things about this place. They were so excellent!!!
July 05 · Monserrat SerraI took my 12 year old dog to North Star Vets in Brick this morning. The receptionist was very pleasant and appeared to be very knowledgeable triage tech was also very nice to deal with. The doctor came in and introduced herself, asked questions regarding my pets care and also was receptive to any questions I may have had after the blood workup was done. The doctor came out and discussed the results. If I have any issues, I will be going back
September 01 · Mary Ann LiottaI brought my Boston Terrier, Violet, to NorthStar VETS in Brick this weekend after she aspirated, which is extremely dangerous for brachycephalic breeds. The staff took her in immediately and were incredibly kind and calming throughout the entire process. The facility was clean and well-maintained, which added to the reassurance that Violet was in great hands.Dr. Paiva did an amazing job communicating with us and provided a clear and thorough estimate for Violet’s stay. She ended up staying for a day and a half, and the nurses went above and beyond—sending us frequent photo and video updates and making her the comfiest little bed. Their care and attention to detail truly meant the world to us.Overall, a 10/10 experience. I can’t thank the team enough for taking such wonderful care of Violet! Highly recommend NorthStar VETS to anyone in need of emergency care for their pet.
March 17 · gina pallittoOverall very happy w my dogs care! Staff and Dr were kind and attentive. I did not feel like they were trying to “upsell” as I have experienced at other vets. The Dr apologized for the wait even though it was minimal which was considerate. I was happy to wait knowing she would get good care. The only negative was there was some dried blood on the floor in the waiting area and exam room.
