★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Kacham and his staff are excellent. Dr Kacham provides veterinary services for my 17 year old chihuahua LoLa. She has several health conditions that he manages for her. He also did teeth extraction surgery for her. She is doing great since the surgery. He is very knowledgeable and personable and calls me directly with information about LoLa when needed. The staff are kind and they patiently listen to me when I am discussing any concerns I have for LoLa. I would give The Southampton Veterinary Hospital 10 stars if I could!!!
June 16 · Doreen LaffertyToday we took our dog to Dr. Kacham at Southampton Veterinary Hospital for the first time and I cannot express what a wonderful experience we had with the doctor ,vet tech Alex and her assistant Malia (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly). While this is our first meeting with the new doctor and our dog, I have been a client of the Vet hospital for more than 33 years. I have an extremely fearful dog that does not do well at the vet. I was very worried how our dog would do with a new vet. Dr. K is kind, thorough, patient and extremely calm. Shadow was able to have her nails trimmed (a miracle) , her ears cleaned out and got her shots. It is a production to take this dog to the vet, my son and my sister both come with me. We were all so impressed with the doctor and his staff. Wishing Dr. K and staff all the best at Southampton Veterinary Hospital. If you have a fearful dog I encourage you to check them out .
July 01 · Lori LawleyAsked numerous times for copying of tests and have not received emails of them. We need them for our own records if needed in a emergency. We did get copies of our dogs (yes two) records including tests results after writing this review. The vet does seem like a money grab. We had our dog checked from our first vet and had no problems. New vet wants money only.
August 22 · Dom CThe scheduling and the appointment itself went pretty well. The staff and the doctor were nice... until it was time to pay. While making an appointment I explained what the issue was. They told me it's going to be $75 and yet at the end of the appointment somehow I owned $ 525. Never once, during the appointment, the doctor brought it up or ask for consent to do this or that that will cost so much money. The worst thing he made it seem that it was my fault that I should've known that it's going to be this much money, He said "this is common knowledge"
July 27 · Roma ZaboI am truly disappointed to hear that Dr.M retired and sold to a new owner. Today we brought our cat in, a cat that Dr. M was consistently treating, because she has some over grooming injury. We both work full time and were able to find a day to bring her in. The vet techs and vet completely disregarded what we said. We expressed that our cat was a stray and doesn’t do well when people put things over her head. They continued to ignore us and grab her forcefully, until she became so scared that they told us to just come back. They offered no care or advice for her grooming behaviors, and told us that we need to come back when a specific person is working. I am infuriated, they do not know how to handle any animal that has trauma. I get that she is spicy sometimes; but repeatedly doing things that we told them would stress her out was incredibly unkind and rude.
