★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The store may appear cluttered but the owner loves what he's doing, and if you look at the fish tanks they are all clean with no dead fish (that I could see).I bought a light hood from him over a year ago for my terrarium, and when one of the lights recently burned out and I couldn't figure out how to replace it (it was actually pretty easy), I went in to talk to him about it, and he said, "Bring the whole thing in."He took the time to show me how to replace the light, and after putting in the new light he tested it to make sure it worked, then he put everything back together, and then tested it again to make sure. He could have just sold me a light, but he wanted to make sure I was a happy, satisfied customer. This is also why he will NOT sell you any fish without you bringing in a water sample and having it tested first.I realize this practice may upset some people, but if he sells you fish that then die because YOUR water is too high in ammonia, etc., you may blame HIM and bad mouth his store. And so he's doing the right thing by himself, by his fish, AND by you when he insists on testing your water before selling you any fish.He doesn't want you coming back to buy more fish because the first lot died, even though it would mean more sales for him.And he doesn't want you badmouthing him because your fish died because your water was bad.He wants the fish that he sells you to LIVE because he wants you to be a happy, satisfied customer (and he cares about the fish).
August 03 · John PattisonMr. Peter sells fish but also other variety, and I highly recommend his services, particularly if you own a snake and require rats of various sizes. His establishment is the ideal location for such purchases.
September 03 · Julie Garcia-HuertaFirst time at this place today cause my usual spot didn't have feeder mice. I'd give it zero stars if I could. As soon as you walk in it smells pretty strongly of fish and it's pretty cramped in there. The mouse the employee (or manager?) gave me looks sick and he just packed it up in a clear container that was labeled Pet Palace (another shop nearby that's now temporarily closed), and it didn't have any holes in it for the lil guy to breathe. I was charged $3, THREE DOLLARS, for a lousy mouse that I can't feed to my snake for fear it'll harm him. Such a waste. Also he just took my cash and gave me change out of his pocket. There was a register right in front of us but I guess he couldn't be bothered. Just a sus place if ya ask me!
March 29 · Christina MorenoGood products and knowledgable staff. We've got a fairly new tank and they've been great guiding us on care and helping with hiccups.
March 02 · Kristy DahlstromWent in and the shop was a mess reptiles were poorly taken care of and shouldn't live in those conditions no heat lamps and over crowded tanks most reptiles looked near death.
