No signs of any foul play or mistreatment. They have an adoption center in the front corner of the store right by the entrance where you go through a long process before actually adopting a cat or dog depending on availability, preference etc. there are a bunch of workers ready to help you anytime and are pretty kind and quick to help. The store kind of smells bad though considering all the animal food and excrement but the floors are polished almost hourly and there is a nice lingering lemon scent in the midst of things. The prices could use a bit tweaking but they make pretty good business and tend to sell out pretty quick. It’s a first come first serve basis where they have good 15%-35% on specific days and deals if you are a petco loyal valued customer. The most popular are among the birds and aquatic section where most kids stare by the clean glass cages at awe of the animals begging their parents to buy one or a couple. There are pet owners everywhere so you will see a bunch of dogs roaming around looking for a treat or something to play. They are located in a shopping strip mall just on the outskirts of northern boulevard with an abundant access to a parking lot so showing up isn’t a problem. I really did love this place and treat as if it’s the “apple” of pet stores mostly because they have all the brands from a wide variety and unequivocally give access to an excess of knowledge regarding animal care from trained experts all around. They even have a veterinary center located within the store for your pet needs.
July 05 · YvngumarAll the staff has been very kind to us, unfortunately we do not speak English and communication has not been able to be fluid, however they have always been very kind, but today we live something very annoying and that we consider irresponsible and for this I am putting a negative comment. The situation is that we bring our kitten here and pay her a plan that includes vaccination and tests, some tests came out positive and something had to be done about it, when we received the results I requested an appointment when I saw that they came out positive, they told me that my kitten was still very young and that they could not do anything yet, they gave me an appointment for a month later, I took her and they put her first dose of deworming and some vaccine, they rescheduled an appointment for a month later for the next Step, the appointment was today, we went there and they told us that my kitten had two parasites, that they could not do anything else to her because we first had to go to another veterinarian to help us with the parasites since they did not have the services to fight said bacteria, our annoyance is why they tell us this until this appointment? If they have those results since before they gave him his first dose, why did they perform procedures in the last appointment and even this appointment they tell us that they can't do anything with what he has? We were confident that they were taking care of our cat because they had the results and already knew what she had, why do they tell us until this appointment that they can't help us with that or that they can do anything to her? We have lost a whole month and our kitten continues with the same parasites, if they were interested in the process of my animals they would have told me from the beginning to look for another veterinarian and take care of the matter so that today they could provide me with the Service that I paid for and my cat needs, but only until today they decided to tell me that they could not do anything. What a lack of communication and commitment to my cat's process, there is a translator that we could use if that can be the excuse and in fact I am using it to write this, but I say that they are simply messy and did not communicate with each other to provide us with the appropriate information for us to do everything my cat needs.

We waited for more than one hour get some pet fish but he was only serving non asian customers. We waited for literally 1.5 hours until there was no customer left in the store and he still ignored us on purpose. This is crazy. This happened just now. Definitely a racist guy. You can check your camera for today. I was standing for 1.5 hrs from 6:30pm to 8:05 pm by the gold fish tank the whole time. The worst feeling I have had in a long time. I will definitely try to report it to the corporate office. This is unacceptable. I was a customer for two years and that was my last visit. Never again.
August 26 · Shrup CReading fine print on a given promotion cashier stated the items were no valid, then proceeded to ‘complete the order’ with cat food when she clearly sees me purchasing a $129 bag of dog food, and a $50 dollar one to meet the requirements. I clearly showed her where she was wrong in my purchase but being off 3$ rings up cat food. Like girl I could of got dog cookies behind me. Bad attitude, when I meant nothing but kindness when explaining the promotion. I just accepted so I could leave quickly to avoid my dog having an accident

I never was waiting more than 5 minutes. But not anymore. I was put on waiting for 20 minutes. I asked help from another person but she just waved, ah somebody is helping you and gone. Cashier ignored either. He had free time he could help to do things quicker. But nope, very mean.
