★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m absolutely appalled by the experience I had here. The staff at this location are unprofessional, careless, and clearly don’t want to be there. If working with animals isn’t your passion, then find another job—don’t take it out on innocent pets. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was bothering the staff just by being there. Everyone looked miserable, like they didn’t want to be at work.I brought in my dog, fully brushed out, fluffy, and well-kept. I gave very clear instructions for the cut. Instead, they completely disregarded everything I said and shaved him down like a naked mole rat. It’s obvious the groomers here rush through every pet using the quickest blade—not what’s requested, and definitely not what’s best. The customer service? Even worse. I was standing in line, waiting to be helped, when a staff member called another customer who had clearly just walked in—completely ignoring me like I wasn’t even there. And when I expressed concern about how I want my dog to be cut, staff members laughed like I didn’t know what I was talking about. It was insulting and extremely unprofessional. Still didn’t cut how I requested. This place clearly has a revolving door of new, untrained employees—which explains the huge “NOW HIRING” sign at the front. I should’ve taken that as a warning. The revolving door of new, untrained employees says it all. No consistency, no quality, and clearly no respect for clients or their pets.If you’re reading this and thinking about coming here—DON’T. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the heartbreak. Your pet deserves better. I regret not trusting my gut. Never again.
May 17 · DeBad grooming experience! I specifically asked groomer (Joey) to not shave off my dog as he wasn’t “badly”matted. My dog has beautiful fur and all he needed was a trim. I wish these groomers had more patience. Former groomer Caroline was the best but unfortunately she no longer works there. I’ve inserted before and after pictures.
March 02 · Dioskar PierreVery frustrating appt experience. I brought my large dog in for a visit related to her anxiety. I expressed that I wished to refill anxiety meds previously prescribed by a telehealth provider. The reason for visit was labeled as anxiety by me. The Clark location had a rare Friday opening, so I rearranged my schedule and brought my dog in. The vet assistant was kind and pleasant. The vet was kind and pleasant. He suggested routine bloodwork this visit or next, I opted for next because the dog was already stressed. When checking out, I asked how I could order the medication. I was then told that the vet today "only works on Fridays" and the main vet won't approve the RX without bloodwork. This seems incredibly ridiculous. If the vet there felt comfortable prescribing, why should the other vet have anything to say about the RX? The "Friday vet" is licensed veterinarian, why can't he prescribe meds? Why would anyone bother to come if if the Friday doc can't even prescribe medication. So I said okay, let's draw the blood. Waited 15 minutes for the assitant come back after talking to the vet, again she was very pleasant. She took the dog to the back, but returned 5 mins later saying that they didn't have time today! They said they could squeeze me in on Saturday. So basically I could rearrange my schedule two times in one weekend for nonsense, not to mention stress out my anxious dog twice in two days. It does not take a long time for blood draws, the assistant even agreed. In the time going back and forth the blood could have been drawn and problem solved. I asked for the managers contact info. The assistant left to get the # and was gone for 15-20 mins! They apparently called the manager who again offered another appt on Saturday and no other solution. The entire time someone was waiting to just drop off a sample of dog stool! So disappointed in this experience.
August 02 · Katie KowalThe worst grooming service ever. I had scheduled appointments for my two Yorkies. One is significantly small, like 5 pounds. They started dragging her by her neck ( which is prohibited in a case with small dogs because their neck is very fragile), when my husband confronted them, they said “ they cannot pick them up and use force to bring them inside” and I told them that the problem is that they are using their force to bring them inside. Anyway, canceled two appointments for both dogs, will never be back for the grooming service. P.S. It did happen the last time too, but they DID pick her up and brought her inside. They’re also just puppies and very anxious.
June 28 · Veronika LenThe location has convenient parking and the store is large and has quite a variety of your pets needs. They have specials everywhere and there is always an associate who will assist you when needed. An associate named Steve who was giving out samples for Just Food for Dogs was friendly and gave me information on their product and information on dogs that was delightful. My recent visit they added a animal hospital to the establishment which made the store slightly smaller but doesn’t really make a huge difference.
