This tiny fish store has been going strong for the past 7 years. The store itself is laid out in a 2 isles of mostly exotic fish collectors. You will that this is not a typical store with goldfishes and guppies, but a candy store for a lot of legal oddballs (Cross River Puffer, Fly river Turtle, plecos, etc.). All the fishes are healthy and the store is clean and well ventilated. Parking is on the side of the street but can be hard to see if you're going there for the first time. I believe the owner is Sergio and he is very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and helped me with transporting my 20" Mbu puffer up to NorCal. I would have spent a stupid amount of money here if I was an aquarist again.

I visited the store in person and had a great experience. The owner is really nice and even gave me a tour of the shop while I was there. I picked up 10 Cherry Shrimps. They were top quality: super vibrant red, healthy, and active. I’ve seen some negative reviews online, but those mostly seem to come from delivery issues. Since I went in person, I had no problems at all. Highly recommend this store if you’re looking for quality shrimp and a friendly, knowledgeable staff!

Apparently their bad reviews are deserved; I should have done research on them before buying from them. Ordered 10 shrimp for more than $250 and their customer service kept dodging questions about when it would ship. I also asked them explicitly not to ship for arrival during the weekend as the mailroom at my school is only open Mon-Fri. They acknowledged and sent the shrimp out USPS (not FedEx overnight as stated on the order) for delivery on SATURDAY. Add in the Labor Day holiday and that meant the shrimp would be in the baking hot post office until Tuesday! Couldn't bear to let the little guys just die so arranged a package intercept with USPS and picked them up Saturday. They are okay so far but I will never do business with Billy Boi again, and will spread my experience far and wide to make sure no one else does either.

Update!!!I just got off the phone with my bank and good old Billyboi had my purchase set up for a reoccurring charges !!! I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this merchant do not purchase from him online, see the product and pay cash.First off when I made my order, my phone auto filled the wrong mailing address. I sent him a message letting t them know that it was the wrong mailing address, and he messaged me back promptly telling me that I could just email him updating him with my real mailing address. This was on the 28th, so I emailed him with the correct address and did not get a response, I waited a couple of days and still no response. 9 Days later he replied back after I contacted him through Instagram because he would not respond to my emails, which I used to or three different emails, and when he finally did respond back, he had the wrong address on there so he didn’t even read my emails . I’d asked for a cancellation and a full refund then we got the address situated I decided to go through with the order. After 14 days! I received my shrimp and they were all infected with red worms attached to their bodies so I had to set up a couple of isolation tanks because I had three different colors and then I had to go and buy the medication to treat the shrimp. And Billy boi!!! called me a liar and said that his shrimp are not infected so I wouldn’t waste my time purchasing from this individual I spent close to $90 and some of the shrimp are not even the right color and look like they were from a cull tank. Then he was going to charge me for however long it took me bto find out!!! What a scammer!!

I bought two birds from this place spent $300 the lady was rude to my mom and I acting like she didn’t know us. Blue died of parasites in his tummy and nala had a respiratory problem both were taken to the vet. $79 each to be seen $179 each for the emergency visit. I spend my hard working money on those birds as they help my mom with her anxiety and her behavioral health. The point is don’t buy birds from this place. I am a lover of all birds but this lady is just trying to make a quick buck doesn’t care if the birds are sick or not doesn’t tell you if one has problems I spent more on the vet bills then the bird was even worth ! Never again!

I ordered 10 Blue Cherry shrimps. They sent me 14, the 4 extra shrimps were meant to cover any DOAs/Dead On Arrivals. Luckily for me, there was only 1 DOA, so I received 13 live and health shrimps. The good news doesn’t end there. Because all the shrimps they sent were adults, 2 of the shrimps I received were pregnant. Now, just 2 days after I received my ordered shrimps, there are baby shrimps swimming in my tank already!!! Now, I’m planning the list of lucky few who will receive my gift of live shrimps in Walstad styled self sustaining jar of eco system.

Nick is extremely nice and knowledgeable! He truly cares a lot about the fish he sells. Probably has the best collection of bettas and guppies available in OC area at reasonable prices. I ordered some rainbowfish from the website and arranged for local pick up. I made a mistake of temperature shocking the fish when I placed them next to frozen grocery items, contacted Nick immediately and he was super accommodating in getting them replaced at no charge even though it was my mistake!

I recently visited Fish Warehouse Fish Shop and had a mixed experience. While the store has a wide selection of fish and aquarium supplies, there were several issues that impacted my visit. The staff seemed somewhat disinterested and were not very helpful when I had questions about specific fish species and their care requirements. Additionally, some of the tanks appeared to be in need of cleaning, and a few fish looked unhealthy.The prices were reasonable, but the overall customer service and maintenance of the store left much to be desired. I hope they can improve these areas to provide a better experience for their customers in the future.

I have bought an Indian ringneck as a baby and it's my fiancé's pride and joy. We have even bought parakeets as well. People that come on here and give a negative review probably don't know what they are doing with their pets. Some people think it's cool to have a bird, hamster or fish but its more than just having it and looking at. Birds need attention, love, vitamins in their water... fish as well. You can't just throw a fish in regular water. You need to balance out the water with chemicals, leave it running for 2 days until the levels come back good in order for the fish to survive in it's new home. But this place is really good and i recommend it. So please, do your homework on what your going to get

The order took over 3 weeks to arrive due to shipping delays. The cards for your wallet are cute. I was disappointed with the actual tags for the pet collars, just not what I expected. I have three small dogs and the orientation and design dangled way too low and the tags are not in a format that would be durable, definitely won't work. I found a similar product with a much better design offered by a different company, and I ordered new tags through them. Customer service is great though, and they communicate promptly. There was an error on one of the proofs and the company quickly fixed it and shipped out new ones right away. Unfortunately, both orders arrived on the same day, so I didn't realize the product would not work for my dogs in time to cancel the corrected version.

I am very disappointed. I could not give any more stars than one since I haven't received my order yet. It says 3 - 5 business days for shipment on their website, however, it's been 2 weeks. I got a tracking number with USPS a week ago, when I check the tracking, it shows it in California NOT EVEN SHIPPED! Just says shipping label created. I messaged mypetdmv, last week, NO RESPONSE. Excellent customer service. Great price, I think they were each 25 bucks or so.Got a size 7 and an 8 for a 40 and a 60lb lab mix. The 8 fit the 40 pounder better than the 60 pounder and we swapped the 7 for a 10 for the bigger dog. With the return process included it only took 2 weeks or so from the time of order. Fit great. Pups get real excited when we pull the ponchos out the closet.Update:After bathing and toweling off the pups we throw the ponchos on them and it's immediately nap time. These ponchos are great. They love them.

I ordered a custom cake for my dog Dasher’s 5th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! The cake looked amazing, and you could tell it was made with love and care. Took my dog in to grab a yummy snack for her birthday. The staff was very friendly and came up with treats to say hi to my dog. They recommended the cupcake as she has a sensitive stomach and they said the ingredients shouldn't upset her. She absolutely loved it and ate it so quickly that I couldn't take any good pictures. My picky pup loved her oat flour cake from Happy Tails Barkery! I even got her birthday hat at the store too. My first visit was to get my pup a cake for her 3rd birthday (her first with us since adopting her) and everyone in the store was very helpful and kind. I stopped by this shop for some treats and was blown away by the products. My pups loved trying everything and I felt good knowing it was all natural. This company (WAGWAY Group) should be shut down immediately. No response at all from them regarding Minnie the dog left to freeze. Pups was a good company before they sold out to wag way. A dog disappears into below -0- weather at 3:30 in morning into the cold Chicago streets right into Michigan Avenue. In a storage room opens the door and makes her way to an externally facing front door which obviously was not locked. Also, there is no 24/7 staff onsite! so.... WTH! i hope the #ASPCA investigates this to the fullest. I am just heart broken to think of that dog in the cold dark Chicago streets at night, ALONE and to think that she is most likely frozen under snow some where...GROSS! I've been a dog owner for 55 years and literally i just can not stomach this at all!

Great exotics shop wonderfully located in the tristate area of WV, WV, & MD. Has a wide variety of animals, enclosures, accessories, and feeders. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with your purchases and that care is given in matching up animals with their potential adopters. The shop is constantly being cleaned and animals are always provided the freshest food. I commented one day about the large fridge that is always supplied with fresh veggies and fruits from the local grocery store that the animals in there eat healthier than I do.

Visited yesterday to pick up a lot of dirt and supplies for a Stimson Python enclosure. I was so happy with the experience! They had everything I needed, helped me carry everything to my car (four huge bags!) and I was able to get a bunch of other supplies I didn't even realize I could pick up there. If I could give ZERO stars I would.. I Purchased a $500 Tegu from Wild Exotics LLC in Brunswick 11 days ago for my son, they included everything THEY said we needed which it turns out we needed more, whatever that’s fine we got it elsewhere. (I feel like as a pet store owner / worker they would be more knowledgeable about the animals they are selling.) Woke up to it dead this morning. My husband took the lizard and the receipt back into the store and they could not do anything to remedy the situation, called his wife and I guess they came to the agreement they could give us $100 off another Tegu, why they would think we’d purchase something else with no health guarantee is absurd. I’d steer clear of this establishment, expensive lesson to be learned.They also placed the blame on us for its death. After we did everything THEY told us to do. Think twice before you get such an expensive animal from this establishment that does not guarantee the health of its animals.Employees do not know the care required of the animals they sell asked questions and got answers like “ I believe or I’d have to look” glad I did my own research as well.

I just went there to adopt a kitten whom I have been calling about all week.They never told me he was “ill” but today he is all the sudden sick.The kitten is sharing a cage with another one so this is unsafe.Cory, Ana and the person at the front desk are very rude and plain dishonest.Got different stories from each one them.Please read the reviews as this is not an isolated case.Also you are not allowed to the dog kennels. Came here to walk some dogs one day and fell in love with a sweet dog. Came back here a few days later and adopted her! The staff was very kind, sweet, and you can instantly tell they love all of the animals! The adoption process was easy and straightforward, and we left with our sweet girl, May, the same day. Really love this place and how much you can tell everyone there cares. You can tell by the neighbors that stop and talk to you that this is a true neighborhood institution!

I used to walk the dogs in 2021 and I had a blast with the little ones. I moved further away from the rescue so I stop visiting. I’m back to walk the dogs again today and I appreciate the staff offered me to walk more than one dog today. He is by himself handling all the walking requests and make things happen. We got our toy Aussie here and our in laws got his twin here (from the same litter). I love him so much. No health problems so far and they’re 5 months old, almost 6. I cannot say enough good things about Dogology. When we rescued our pup we knew we wanted to do training but didn’t know where to begin. A co-worker recommended Dogology, and we are so happy they did. Ben’s training classes were highly informative with easy tasks that got our puppy doing commands in no time. Ben recommended that puppy daycare is great for socialization to ensure a well rounded dog. We immediately signed her up for twice a week and haven’t looked back. Lastly, the retail store staff was very friendly and knowledgeable when we went if for recommendations.

Highly recommend Ben if you’re looking for a dog trainer. He is both a behavior and obedience trainer. I was in tears with my dog before bringing her to him and with only a few sessions she has become an entirely different dog. We love taking her everywhere now! In only three sessions (and lots of work on our part at home) she no longer pulls, is not reactive towards dogs, is calmer, more obedient and happier. He has a vast amount of knowledge, well worth the money.

I was able to bring my reactive dog in for her own private shopping session in November and it was the absolute best. Both people and dogs make her very nervous and it was wonderful to be able to just be a dog, seeing the choices she made on her own and what she liked to look at and sniff once I dropped her leash. Cait stayed behind the counter and was so respectful of my dog’s preferences and gave me the pup cup to give her and oh she had so much fun. I randomly stopped into this store to purchase some pet supplies and was overall impressed with the store and its product availability. But what really stood out was the outstanding customer service. The owner of 52 yrs took his time both times I went and shared some amazing knowledge really was the highlight of my entire trip and I absolutely appreciate and love this store. I could rave about Beth and the quality of her pet products all day. I have a 3x3 blanket i fold in half that she made for my service dog so my girls got a little comfort when she lays on the floor and i have peace of mind that some sorta cleaner or something didn't get on her that she's gonna lick cause im paranoid. The dog shampoo smells absolutely amazing and leaves my girls coat really shiny and soft. Legendary store. Went in recently to check out the expansion and buy some fish. Ended up with three healthy honey gouramis and some plants.They were unsexed when I bought them but it looks like two females and a male, which is bonus! Lovely addition to the new tank and glad they made the journey home as I live in Joyce. Clearly very healthy fish to make the trip. They've been in the new tank since last week and are doing great.

Shipping took a little longer than expected, and my plant was more leggy and less compact than the photos, but still super healthy with lots of new growth! Overall great experience!

This is the only place that I know of in town, an if I knew of another I would not go there anyway, that sells frozen and live feeders for animals. Cause lets face it I want to feed my pet fresh food and if it still alive then its fresh. They also have all the foods for the rest of the reptiles as well, like geckos and bearded dragons an many many more.I have been going here for about two years now. It was owned by another person and they sold it to the current owner, who was, in my own opinion, his most valued and dedicated employee. Her name is Rami Bryson. Rami is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of reptiles, but specializes in gecko's. If you have a question about anything reptile Rami will answer your questions.Me and my wife bought our first Ball Python from Rami. She answered all our questions and gave me a run down on what to expect, what to do and all the stuff in between. In the two years that we have gone in to buy feeders for our snake she has always been helpful and extremely professional.We bought our second Ball Python from here as well, but we purchased it for our son. Once again answering all the questions we had and going out of her way to make sure that first the snake was taken care of properly an that we enjoyed the snake owning experience.Just recently she had some previously owned Ball Pythons and asked if me and my wife would be interested in adopting one. I went down the next day to see what she had. I immediately fell head over heels for a 3 year old Ball Python with the name Dali. She let me take him home that day since he was out of quarantine and had passed all the things she has to check for to make sure the snake is healthy. I had to sign a adoption paper work and pay a fee. I have to say I never would of thought that a snake could choose a specific person but he did. I enjoy him and I do not know what I would do with out him now.My point is that none of this would of happened if it was not for Rami. If you are interested in what is what I suggest you go in and see her. The only bad thing is that she is not open on Mondays or holidays.

I absolutely recommend this place for someone looking for a well bred and healthy reptile. I picked up two ballie babies from here, and neither has turned down a single meal since coming home. Both are growing at a steady rate, are active, clear-eyed, vibrant and friendly—but still have incredible survival and hunting instincts at appropriate times. We got to see the parents for both, as well, and they also seemed healthy and well adjusted to all the above.The staff is also incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and are willing to share their wealth of knowledge without judgement while also making sure that owners know what’s what with the care of their creatures. They clearly want the best for their animals and for you as their pet parent. Their advice has also helped me with a rescue ballie that I have, and he is flourishing!As someone who has worked in the pet care industry for a few years and who’s partner and co-scaley-parent has as well, we’ve been hard pressed to find reptiles as well bred and healthy as these. Whether you are a well-seasoned reptile collector looking for your next new addition, or someone new who needs some help or direction choosing your best fit and the supplies best to care for them, my family and I highly recommend these incredible folks. I can’t wait to go back!

Went to pu a ld. The driveway right behind the Quiktrip is the entrance. The sign says No Thru Traffic (so passed it up the first time) lol. Once you go through the gate park truck and go to the second man door that says Pet Tech over it. Walk down to the table on your left. A gentleman will meet you over there and get your BM # and ask what company. Then he will let you know what door to back into. I was there from 1233-1306, check-in to check-out and when you leave, you must exit to your left to the electronic gate. Idk if there is overnight parking, as I saw trucks on the side of the building as I was exiting, but I had hours, so there was no need to ask.

I went by today after doing a training class and got the trachea and some cookies. My Malinois went crazy over the trachea and it lasted him over an hour so far where most times they last 5 minutes. He hasn't tried the cookies yet as he hasn't finished the trachea. If I'm ever close enough to stop that will be my place to go. I came in puppies looked nice and freshly cleaned looks like everyone takes care of them with love. The workers are really friendly and helpful with all the questions I have asked. I would recommend buying your pup from here really professional and the prices are reasonable and nice compared to other places in Anderson. It doesn’t smell like anything because it is a pet store.

This place is terrible. The smell of urine is strong the moment you walk in, my eyes almost watered. The puppies are in very small little crates and do not have much of a larger area to get out and be walked around in. Multiple puppies are in one small little gated area. They do not have toys or a bed. They have exotic animals which do not belong in such conditions such as a wallaby which looks miserable and prairie dogs. The prairie dogs are on a flat floor with a blanket and have nothing to burrow in, not even a small amount of sand, not even a litter box. They had a monkey at one point in time and it was just in a cage, nothing for it to be climbing around on or anything close to what would be good conditions a monkey should be living in. Clearly do not care about the animals and the conditions that they should be living in.

*UPDATE* June 26, 2025NOW HE HAS KENNEL COUGH!We recently purchased (june 19th,2025) a chocolate merle chihuahua from them. Very overpriced to not have papers but my mom fell in love with him and how tiny he is. Took him to the vet the next day, he had tons of live hook worms... other than the worms, he is healthy so thats good news. But being that we paid 1,250 for him, he definitely shouldn't have had any worms.. Not to mention the vet said this isn't the first puppy to be brought in ate up with worms that people purchased from the puppy patch... Just be cautious of that.My other concern was one of the boston terrier puppies, her tail was all jacked up.. not sure how that happened or if they bought her like that but definitely sad. Especially them selling her for 850 with a jacked up tail...

We hated everything about this place. The owner was trying to upsell everything. I get it. You need to make $$$. However, we have birds at home, with multiple cages and lots of toys, and basically all we need. We just wanted a new flock member. But this guy was so mad every time we explained we already had whatever he was offering. What really ticked us off was that he wanted me to buy a carrier. I said no. We live nearby and i was sure he'd get us a comfortable size box for a cockatiel. I had high expectations, apparently. He literally grabbed THE SMALLEST box he could find. I was flabbergasted. I was appalled. And it was a child, perhaps his child, who stuffed the cockatiel into the box that was like for a finch. THEN he got me to sign papers. The bird was squawking and wiggling, the cashier taking her time writing my name and info on the papers. Dude kept saying "poor bird, that's why I wanted you to buy a carrier." Well, why stuff the baby into that tiny tiny thing! And why put the bird into the box before all the paperwork. Ugh. I really wanted to support a local shop, but I hated the experience, hated the environment, and not a fan of the people running it. 0 out of 5 stars in my book. On the plus side, our bb tiel is thriving and we love her so much. And so do our other birbs.

Let me start by saying I was not looking to spend more than a few dollars for our mutt, we went in and right off the bat you could feel this positive energy coming from the manager. She was so sweet and introduced herself (I’m sorry I forgot your name) she has an amazing way of relating to people and showed us her dogs and told us her story. Although she recently had a traumatic event happen in her life she was so positive and informative about all the different products! She wanted to know what kind of dog, size and gender, she showed us the best items to get for our boy and wanted to see him. To me that made it very personal and I felt more like I was talking to a friend than someone trying to sell me something. Let me tell you what. My dog (the toy shredder within minutes) chewed on the collagen stick for about 2.5 hours and it’s turning white on the end but my goodness she wasn’t lying! He’s almost defeated because he can’t shred it but he’s so addicted to it! Everything about this was a 10/10 experience and we are so impressed with how much he loves it and how well it isn’t just ripping apart! If buying anything from here is in question let me tell you the answer is YES love this place and will be back for more once he goes through what we bought him (might be a while lol) my sister has 6 German shepherd’s that will pulverize anything they decide to make into dust, she will be stopping in too! You guys are awesome and thank you for the unforgettable experience! See you next time!!!!!

Quality, Quality, Quality! If you are looking for a leash that isn't going to wear out over time, is east to clean when your pups get it dirty, and feels great in your hand, check these out! Handmade with strong materials, plenty of color choices. Candice made these three leashes for my doggos and I haven't looked back. For reference, I have a 140 pound saint pyrenees, 60 pound pitbull and 60 pound collie and I have zero issues using these leashes on any of them! I love the feel, lightness and overall design of the product so much I got our Arson dog at the fire department one! 10/10 recommend B&T for any of your leash needs. As I walked into the building it smelled like donuts. The bakery is very neat, clean and organized. It even had coffee and tea to drink while I waited for my order. The treats look like human food rather than “dog food.” The smell alone made me want to try a treat for myself lol. The prices are great and so is the customer service. My partner and I have been very disappointed with the owner’s approach to customer care. We ordered a custom collar for our dog during the first week of June and have yet to receive it in the mail (we don’t live in Pittsburgh so requested and paid for delivery when ordering the collar). It’s now been over 6.5 weeks and the owner has failed to adequately communicate with my partner and mail the collar to us. My partner is now at the point where she is going to dispute the purchase with her credit card company since the owner has failed to make and send us the collar. We love to support small businesses, but we would not order from this one again considering the owner currently appears to be ghosting us.

Visited The Tropical Frog today and a few things surprised me! One was how clean and odor-free the store was. I go to a LOT of pet stores and usually there is not a great smell going on there. This magical gem of a store was absolutely packed with beautiful dart frogs of every color, super cool shrimp and snails, fish, aquarium plants, and supplies. The owners were really nice and shared some plans with me of more frogs they’re planning on for the future. I love me some frogs so I’ll definitely be back! I got a really nice, large, arboreal enclosure there that I am SO happy with! One little reddish brown frog kept doing the most awesome call that made me feel like I was on an exotic island and when I saw him make the call I was so excited because his whole little body, the size of my pinky was vibrating like a maraca. Very cool store, right on front of Acorn Storage in the retail spots! If you like frogs and aquatics, I highly recommend. The animals were healthy looking, they breed themselves, and the prices were right!

I was forced to board my dog here after my sitter cancelled last minute. I’ll start by saying that he was treated well. However the employees are absolutely terrible. The ONLY advertised price they have for boarding is listed on THEIR own website and I was never told what the price would be when dropping off my dog. When I went to pick him up they gave me a completely different price than what was advertised. When I mentioned this, all the employees gave me attitude saying that they don’t have access to change it online. They kept saying I should have asked, when in reality they should be aware they have a falsely advertised their prices and I should have been made aware of that. Or at least have their prices listed at the counter, which they do not. They kept saying how they fed my dog and he was treated well as if they were doing me a favor. This is the obvious expectation and what I’m paying them for. They blamed me for not doing research prior to dropping off my dog which I did by reading all the information ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE. I have no problem paying x5 what i did but I dont think anyone appreciates being lied to expecting one price and being given another. They are clearly at fault yet tried blaming me for their mistake. When they were told they lost a customer, they replied with ‘we have plenty of business and don’t need yours’. Needless to say they practice shady business and I won’t be coming back. This would have ended on a much more positive note as I had cash in pocket ready to tip them. Unfortunately they chose not to honor their listed price and deferred responsibility.

Have purchased several snakes from SH Pythons and each one is absolutely stunning. I've never had any health problems or concerns, snakes are properly identified with sex and morphs. This is my go to breeder for my ball pythons. 5 stars doesn't even come close to how much I reccomend getting your next snake here.

My dog had a allergic reaction to some dog food and it attacked my dog's feet real bad. I had taken my dog to five different veterinarians and they couldn't figure out what the solution for this allergy that my dog had. All they did was take me for my money but no solution. I was advised to take my dog to doggie drive-thru and let this lady. By the name of Maggie see my dog's condition and see if she could help. After giving her bath treatments and suggested to change her food eating routine. My dog's feet look amazingly good compared to 2 months ago.Gravy train and bacon strips was the culprit to my dog's agony. She now eats Natural Balance dog food and I give her vanilla wafer cookies for a treat. The pictures I am about to show you are before and after results. The scars will always be there. But she's a very happy dog right now!

I've only used the self serve dog wash so can't comment on the other services. The self serve wash area could be a nice set up but out dated and very little lighting. I had my own large wash area with a chain link door which I did like. The dryer not the best. The hallway and area needs a thorough cleaning and carpet replaced. The $20 fee is over priced. You're paying for use of the area and water. If the area was updated and the fee was cheaper I would definitely use it regularly and it's more convenient location to my home. I will have to try her dog treats and other services because I hear theyre great. From the other reviews Ive read people rave about her dog treats. She's friendly and been in business a while.

Owner IS very knowledgeable. She advised us on the best ingredients to feed our 2 Older Shelties. One has skin issues ( recurring sebaceous cysts) the food she recommended has noticeably reduced the number of cysts and size of cysts. Likewise she advised on food for our new puppy. Our girls love the food and devour it. Very happy with advice and very open to advise. Our girls also love the antlers.

Maggie is extremely rude, thinks she knows everything in the world, she claims that because she's been in business 30+ years and is the self-proclaimed smartest business person ever (direct quote), she can talk to people however she wants.Family stopped in and it was a mess. I don't think there was a single spot that didn't have spilled food on it or stains from when she obviously gave up on cleaning.Place looks like a feed mill with stuff everywhere and on the floors.If you try to ask her about how the dog store business is doing, be prepared to be amazed by how little she actually knows. There's a reason Maggie still works there every day. It's because it's so successful she has to be there every day.She's the smartest person in the world and best business person ever yet she lives in Niles, Michigan. Just a few blocks down from Johnny Depp, Cardi B and Katy Perry.She's extremely important, don't you forget it.Better to go to other stores in the area or just go to Walmart, it's cheaper and you'll get better service if you can believe it.

The people at this store are very kind and knowledgeable. Whether you are just entering the saltwater reefkeeping hobby, this store will help you out! I bought fish supplies from them at great prices, and they have a large coral selection. Unfortunately, they are still getting started at a new location in Naperville, which definitely gets less traffic. This also means that they have to take time as they set up new fish tanks and other supplies before they are ready to be used. I have read several reviews about shipping and quality (which I personally have not experienced), but from what I can see Is that they are just trying to get their store up as fast as possible so that they can fit the needs of their customers. Currently, they have their coral tanks set up, a couple of fishtanks with clownfish for their online store, shelves with tank supplies, filtration, etc., fish food, and several fishtanks that you can purchase. To summarize all this I would say that this is an amazing aquarium store that is rapidly picking up the pace at their new location, the service and quality of product is high, and you can find everything you need if you are just getting into the hobby or a "veteran."

I just wanted to leave a 5 star public review just as a thank you for the wonderful service that you all provide! I spoke to the store manager on the phone the other day and he seems like a great dude. I’ve also had the chance to speak on the phone with one of the owners (chris) multiple times now and he’s awesome as well! The prices are MUCH BETTER than any other online vendor I order from hands down! The torch corals are always in great shape when they arrive and most likely have multiple heads! Realistically price wise your only paying for 1head ! The blastomussa corals are absolutely insane in person pictures can’t do them any justice the color is so vibrant and intense! Mushrooms are always super healthy , and they are actually grown out a bit so the sizes are awesome! ( unlike most online vendors that sell you a shoom so small that I jumps off of the plug in a day or 2 )I can go on and on, but over all I just wanted to tell every one that’s shopping around for some frags or equipment for their systems give this company a shot check out the lps corals! So I was on the hunt for a specific and rare sized aquarium stand. I stumbled upon a post selling a set. I had spoke with Nick and Chris after my primary LFS owner referred me to them immediately after seeing it. Not only did I get the stand at an amazing price, they helped upgrade and personalize it. My 2 Border Collies love these MADE IN AMERICA treats! I'm very picky about the treats I give my guys. These jerky treats are made from a single ingredient, 100% USDA (human grade) chicken breast. Went into the store and instantly got hit with a pungent fish and algae smell. The first thing I noticed was how dirty everything was, so many of the tanks were empty but were still caked in grime. I was also disappointed in their selection of fish, couldve down all they had was maybe 6 clownfish at most. This was the fastest I've been in and out of a store in my life.

Love this place. My husband and I come here often and the people that work here are very knowledgeable with any questions we have. They are so friendly and patient--especially with our energetic 4 year old boy. They arent just out to make a sale (like we have experienced at other fish stores), and have even given us recommendations on what we should and shouldn't purchase with our set up. Even when we came in right before closing, they still took time with us and didn't try to rush us out the door. Great customer service!

I took my older cat to the vet to figure out why she was always sick and fatigued. They couldn’t figure it out and wanted to try various medications, which would come with side effects. I had recently fixed my own medical issues through diet so I started researching feline diets. I came across the raw diet and found Feline Instincts. I came in and checked on the animals and they all appeared to be doing well. Except for one cat who looked just a tad shabby But still very cute. The animals I interacted with mostly the dogs We're very friendly they came up and wanted you to pet them. I did not feel threatened by any of the animals when I approached their cages. Very good doggies. The cats you know they were cats The cats were friendly except for one who seemed a little grumpy had a serious Don't mess with me attitude. The staff that I interacted with were actually very friendly so I don't have any complaints there. They showed me how to get to the dogs which isn't the far back corner. Sort of around where you enter you just go back and don't go to the side either way where the cats are.

The staff was amazing! We came in to see if there was a dog that fit our criteria that we could possibly adopt. The staff was super helpful when it came to information about the dogs we chose of the list initially, explained their experience with them and even pointed out dogs we wouldn’t even have thought of. Breeder always gets back to am when I leave a message and answers all my questions. Uses nanny service, breeder makes the reservation to the airport of my choosing. Dog is shipped with some food, water bowl, blanket and toy. Breeder emails you directions on how to care for your new puppy prior to you receiving the puppy. I am able to call if I have any questions. I would recommend this breeder to anyone. Their puppies are healthy, cute, alert and smart.

My mom bought a puppy from here, it was advertised in a different way and we thought it was a private home breeder. We absolutely love our dog, but she was very expensive and has some health issues. PLEASE be careful who you purchase your pets from. My lovely pet I bought from this person has a breathing problem and she scares us every time she gets excited (when we come home and she's happy), she loses her breath and starts to do some weird thing like she's hyperventilating. We read it has to do with the Trachea, and I guess it can happen with small breed dogs, but she has it very bad. I would not recommend breeding your pup if you get one from here because half of the puppies have the same issues. Quiet an expensive pet to have this worry. AND, it is not something you would know about right away from your purchase. The problem began some few months later. ALSO, wanted to mention, we take VERY good care of our pets even special food and no cheap snacks, so it is not neglect by no means, this is an underlying health issue that can't be noticed immediately. BE CAREFUL and choosy where you buy your pet. Is this place a puppy mill, I don't know, but this is our experience with our $1600.00 baby.

I've been going to this New Port Richey Repticon year after year and I must say that it's becoming more and more disappointing. Most of the vendors that sell animals are trying to sell "designer" animals and so any normal critter is "not worth the effort to breed" from what these vendors who attended are telling me. Here's my issue: You want a healthy animal? You're advised to buy from a breeder directly rather than get them from a pet store that keeps their animals in unhealthy conditions. Now the breeders are saying there's no money in the "normal" animals.I breed several animals and put in an application to be a vendor for this most recent Repticon. I was informed that I was on a waitlist and that the venue was already booked...Great right? Well, I found out that a business selling chocolates and candies had like 10 tables booked and a table or two of someone selling special kitchen knifes....really? I sell animals related to reptiles and the hobby and I was denied because a vendor wanted to sell chocolates at this event.. There's several of these weird vendor spots at these events and these could have been filled by excellent vendors related somehow to reptiles.There was one single vendor who specialized in bearded dragons and the cheapest they had was $90 followed by a $120 "designer" bearded...You'd think that there would be some good deals to be had here at this type of event, but everything is full price so like another review said, after you spend your money for the entrance fee (way overpriced in my opinion) then you'll also be paying full price (and then some) for most of the animals/equipment here.Overall, Repticon has been lacking more and more each time I go. It's an absolute disappointment. Hopefully they do better in the years to come and stop this 10 tables of chocolate and kitchen knifes at a reptile show silliness.

Unbearable living conditions for birds. Absolutely horrific. Hours are probably not accurate because owners may be afraid people stop in during normal hours and don't want to get caught. Huge birds are put into canary sized cages. Cages are absolutely unhygienic and hav not been cleaned in months. I have parrots of my own and know what a "normal" pet shop looks like. This place looks like the illegal bird trafficking ring in the movie "Rio" with birds put into small cages with poor living conditions. This is abuse for the birds. I ever went over to the big bird to look at him and he was terrified of humans as if he experienced horrific experiences. Animal control and the police needs to visit this place ASAP and rescue these birds. Birds will die if they are not taken cared for. Food and water bowls were insufficient and absolutely disgusting as if these birds are hostages.In fact, as I was leaving I saw the owners put crates of pigeons and other birds on top of one another in their pick up truck in 90+ degree weather. If this isn't illegal then I don't know what this is. There is no front desk, it is literally an incredibly small room full of birds that were caught and put into unlivable cages. There is NO AC and the owners have to put fans everywhere. These are all signs that this a business who is doing things that are not allowed. Moreover, the window to the store is dark and you can't see anything which makes sense as the owners probably don't want you to see what it looks like inside. Please keep reporting them.

Disgusting, full of neglected birds. Many birds in this store were in cages far too small, they had several adult chickens crammed into each small dog crate filling up an entire closet. Bottoms of cage were caked with long term built up feces and urine. Many sick birds and birds with feather issues. Do not support this business

We purchased a bird one week ago from this place. Three days later, it had a seizure if some kind. It survived the 1st one, but three days later. It had another one and died. We brought it back after our phone calls were ignored, and he 1st tried to say that we didn't buy it from him, and after we provided the information to confirm that we did in fact purchase it three, then he changed his story and tried to say that we didn't feed it properly. I have raised several birds from egg stages. This bird was fed properly. And ate very well in between seizures. We paid 500 dollars for one week with a sick bird and this guy wouldn't even work with us on refund, or replacement. I will not recommend that anyone buy a bird here..

They sell premium chews, and other nutritious toppers like goats milk, bone broth etc. even a selection of toys, gear & other merch.There is also a small bar for the humans!We will be back. I have two Working K9s that are very active. One of my K9s is an 8yr old Lab/Retriever mix who would be stiff and sore the day after intense activities (training, swimming, hiking, etc.). This is even with supplements. After only a week of being in the meal plan that Jason created for them, I took her swimming and the next day she didn't have any issues what so ever! She was running and jumping around as if she never went swimming the day before! She's a completely happy, energetic dog again.Plus both pups LOVE the food!

When we went to pick up the dogs, they were well exercised, feed, and happy. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I placed an order with them about a month ago. They notified me several days later the one of the fishes died from an employee error and asked how I wanted to proceed. They cancelled my entire order and refunded me at my request. Communication was excellent so I decided try them again and placed an order. Fish arrived today in excellent condition. Two fish in a box that weighed 40 lbs. (I definitely recommend air cargo) There was plenty of water, heat packs and oxygen. Triple bagged with heavy duty bags. Fish are exactly the ones shown on their website. Prices for what I ordered were better than good. A steal for one of the fish. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely use again. I’m glad to have found this online fish store. Pic is of the bag in a 10 gal aquarium (for size) for a 3 inch fish.Update: another order placed and I am again very happy. Healthy and vibrant fish. All four fish ordered were eating within an hour. The fish from the first order have shown no signs of disease in the QT tank and continue to do well. I’m glad I found this alternative online fish store.

Woofboard has the best selection of treats, toys, and accessories for dogs! We’ve gotten lots of great nose work style toys here that my dog loves and we use on a regular basis. Just a great place to get all dog food, snacks, toys related! My pup had a great time exploring the whole store and taking candidates pictures there! We ended up buying a diy charcuterie board and a pawky toy for my Samoyed girl! She loved all the treats in the charcuterie and her new pawky toy! I purchased a $32 piece of driftwood with Java fern attached from Neptune Aquatics (see photo), expecting a clean, safe product for my turtle ecosystem tank. What I got was the opposite of quality.• The driftwood continuously shed dark debris into the tank, turning the water murky brown within hours, even after soaking it in potassium permanganate. It severely disrupted my biofilter cycle and beneficial bacteria development.• Worse, the driftwood was infested with pest snails – I discovered eggs and baby apple snails (Pomacea) shortly after introduction. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious risk to any aquatic setup.• The wood itself seemed untreated, flaky and poorly processed, releasing particles even after rinsing and soaking.I trusted Neptune Aquatics for healthy livestock and clean hardscape, but this was a waste of money and a threat to my tank’s balance. Avoid buying driftwood or any attached plants from this store unless they can guarantee proper cleaning and quarantine.Disappointed and frustrated. I won’t be returning.

Our little 10 gallon freshwater tank is doing great. They helped set up the community tank with neon tetras, corydoras and hillstream loaches. It's been a couple weeks now and it's doing great. Nice helpful staff and all the fish looked healthy and well taken care off. Will be using them again.

IMO, the best shop in the Bay Area. After a decade long hiatus from the hobby, I made the drive down from the City and was not disappointed! I remember coming here before the expansion and it was great but now; it’s a reason for me to make the drive down and spend a day in the South Bay.Every aquarium is crystal clear and looks like a show tank. The store is always well stocked, spotless and everything is well organized. The staff and shop dog are the best too!

Neptune is the only fish store I'll buy from in the bay area anymore. The staff is great - not too overbearing, but helpful enough and friendly when you need to them to be. The prices reflect the broader quality of their stock... I've purchased over 60 tropical fish from this store and have only had one die during the transfer to my tank b/c of genetics or weakness. They have a blog you can subscribe to for all new stocking updates, making it easier to find specific fish you're looking for. Awesome store!

This was my first Reptile Show. The parking is $20, if you live locally just ride the bus there. I was disappointed on how they handled the lines on Saturday (6/22/24). I wish they start using QR codes for their online purchased passes since everyone uses their cellphones anyway. There was also a heat advisory that day and it was really unpleasant.I loved how they checked each attendee for contrabands since there were a lot of children present. There is proper air conditioning once inside.The prices from the sellers were great, better than online stores minus the fees and shipping! You can also observe and choose the animals before purchasing. The only thing I can suggest is to bring cash with you, some of them don't take credit cards and are very limited to e-payment options. A lot of attendees have folding carts with them to carry their purchases back to their cars.

During one of the sojourns to the Ferry Building, it was there I first encountered Mishka, a luxury boutique for dogs. My chihuahua loves the beef and chicken treats from Mishka. We recently tried out the doggy pastries made from chicken beef or lamb. We chose the chicken ones to try. It was definitely a hit. A family furry friend of ours gets their birthday cakes from Mishka. The place is now under new management. The guy who owns it is very patient and honest. Even though his shop was crowded he took his time and answered all of my questions without looking impatient. He even cautioned me to buy fewer fish/inverts than I planned to keep my tank healthy. Coral selection is great and everything is reasonably priced. One of the best aquatic stores in Omaha!

Very disappointed with Aqua Pets. Went in yesterday to buy a fish. I have NEVER had a fish and made this clear to the gentleman that helped me. Told him I wasn't even sure I had made the decision to buy one yet and was just looking. He proceeded to show me a Betta fish and talked me into buying one. He told me all I would need was the fish, this $40 tank with a water fountain, PRIME, and Betta food. I very clearly asked him if I would need a heater or anything to test PH levels (I have friends with fish) and he said "no, a betta should last for 10 years". I awoke this morning to "Charlie" hiding in the back of the bowl. After not moving for four hours I was sure he was dead. In my attempt to get him out of the bowl, he started swimming. After many hours of research online, I now how that this guy at Aqua Pets really took me for a ride. Not only are Betta fish not "beginner" fish, but they also require a heater, should not be in a tank with water fountain, as they do not work well with current, etc, etc. Big picture is that I'm never annoyed and I feel like I've been "taken".

We had a great experience at the store with a guy named J who helped us pick out all of our fish. But all of the fish died. A week prior to going to aqua pets we had our water tested at petco and purchased two aggressive fish from them. Then a week later we purchased SEVEN fish (3 Species) from aqua pets which were aggressive. Within 10 days all of the 7 fish were dead and the petco fish were swimming fine. I called the store and the guy I spoke with said "huh you prolly have bad water", when I told him we had it tested he promptly told me the store had a TWO DAY return period. What a crock store, we thought we were shopping quality but instead were left with $60 worth of dead fish.

Went in to but some bulkheads for my aquarium had just gone to Nebraska aquatics supply and they only had one left. Aqua pets had the ones i needed, I went to pick some up, talk to the guy working there and I tell him I need 4 and ask how much they are, guy tells me the price.... I look at him like are you crazy, and say I just bought some at another place for half the price..... he replies with a smart comment and says "I'm only making a couple of bucks I have to pay the light bill" So I said no thanks, I'll look else where. It's not the price that made me leave it was the attitude he had, the guy was a total douche. I will not be going back ever again.

This place is truly awful. Overstocked cages, filthy conditions and an employee dusting off a shelf when the $700 ferrets are in a small cage with a MOUNTAIN of feces in it. This place is TERRIBLE. They have little cages with dogs kept in them with no blankets or anything. Theyre stacked on top of each other and there are two dogs kept in each little cage. They have fecal matter in their cages too. They have MANY hamsters kept in one little cage crowded all together. Everything is also paddle locked shut like their gonna run away or something. It stunk so badly in their store and it is VERY sketchy.

My partner really wanted to visit this store and I went with him although I’m not a snake person. I was blown away by the amazing service we received. The guy working there showed us every single animal there. He even let my partner and daughter pet some of the snakes. He spoke with us for well over an hour. I recently visited Big Blue Aquatics and had an outstanding experience! The store is immaculate, with beautiful display tanks that showcase the stunning variety of saltwater fish they have. The tanks are pristine, and the fish are visibly healthy, which speaks volumes about their care and expertise. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. The store is clean and well-organized, and to top it all off, a wonderful dog greets you at the door, adding a warm and welcoming touch. The selection of fish and aquatic supplies is fantastic. I highly recommend Big Blue Aquatics for anyone interested in saltwater aquariums!

Ordered online and had our first axolotl delivered before Christmas! We had ordered after the holiday window and were prepared to wait but were surprised with the wonderful delivery today on Christmas Eve! The package was well packed and safely made it all the way to Idaho. Also looking at all their guides on their website has helped us prepare in the best way possible for our adorable Gilly (GFP dirty leucistic). Right now we are still in the process of cycling our tank but following the directions on the Axolotl Planet website for thorough guidance!

They took very good care of my dog Ginger. I just moved from California, and my dog takes a while to warm up to people and gets nervous for grooms. The person who groomed her was very patient and determined to make it as easy as possible for her. I had to come back, after having dropped her off, to put a muzzle on her (they supplied one that fit her perfectly) because she was being feisty. I really appreciated the dedication and patience they had to work with Ginger, even when she was making it difficult for them. I give this groomer a 10/10! The staff were so friendly, and you can tell that they really care about your animals. I am happy to recommend them to friends, family, and everyone else!

Awesome experience! Jay was so understanding of our pet in our first experience. He calmly and confidently trimmed our large dog's nails quickly and efficiently. She is triggered by other dogs and can react to new people. Jay deftly navigated all of that. Will definitely return!

Our nervous 3 year old golden retriever has only ever been to the old owners at pampered pet so we were really hesitant and anxious about bringing her in after the company was sold! I was so happy with how sweet the new owner, Jay, was with our Finny. He welcomed her with treats and immediately knew her name when we walked through the door and she was in very good spirits when I picked her up! Very relieved and excited that the new owners rock! Finny loved the free tennis balls as well.

Our second purchase we had some issues with weather but we are so glad that they truly care that the animals have a as much of stress free trip as possible. They truly care about these animals! Just received my adult male banded Cali King. It took a month to receive, and let me explain. I ordered end of March, from Michigan, because they had exactly what I wanted, and I didn't want to miss it. Weather between us did not cooperate (I mentioned MI right?). The focus from both ends was the welfare of "Calvin". I can't thank GBS enough for their care and professionalism (communication and advisement). A+ experience.

I met Britt at a reptile expo and could tell right away she was an artist! I hired Britt to build me a paludarium for my Amazon milk frogs. She made an absolutely beautiful home for my critters. This paludarium is the center piece of my living room now.

This is honestly my favorite store in town. The owner is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the fish keeping hobby. You can tell he is passionate and cares about his creatures. He will go above and beyond to ensure they have proper care and that they go to the right home. It's really fun to visit and see what's new. You can find freshwater fish, neocaridina shrimp, aquatic plants and more! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for sourcing your freshwater livestock.

He is truly passionate and takes great care of his fish. I waited three weeks after my purchase to leave this review, just to be sure, and I’m happy to report that all of my fish and snails are still alive and thriving! That hasn’t been the case with purchases from other shops in Sioux Falls, so I’m seriously impressed.The gentleman running Planet Fish Aquatics was kind, patient with my kids and their endless questions, and never once made me feel silly for not knowing exactly what my tank needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and above all, was just a genuinely decent human.I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I honestly can’t imagine taking my business anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Where do I begin.......I ordered a green phantom Pleco back in October 14th 2024. After an assortment of issues I received some other fish I ordered which included a 1 inch butterfly pleco. I called to inquire about the pleco not being what I ordered and was informed that he would send me the item I ordered once I provided him with pictures of the butterfly pleco. After being told that he couldn't ship them to me bc it was very cold in his region for over 4 months I got tired of waiting and opted to order from a highly recommended credible seller.The flowerhorn fish I ordered arrived with ick and died shortly after receiving them. I also noticed that the pictures on the website didn't even remotely reflect the fish that you will receive! I thought that it was a matter of the fish having to grow up a little in order to show the colors of the fish I ordered. Fast forward to February 2025. The fish never developed the distinct colors of the fish I ordered. A friend who ordered the same fish from another vendor displayed the true colors my fish never developed. Overall ...dont waste your time and find a vendor who will give you what you pay for. If 0 stars were possible I would have been more than happy to leave that as my assessment of this non truthful vendor. Ill happily take the 80 dollar loss for the green phantom knowing that I will never have to deal with rainforest farms ever again! All of the negative reviews here are a very real warning ...... buyer beware!

Ordered long fin rosy barbs, received the package and fish via fedex in excellent condition. Was feeling iffy seeing the other reviews, but Tom was available on the phone 4/5 times I called or returned voice mails.Tom also picked out female only specimens on request as most local shops were selling only males in my area.The fish are 30% smaller than I thought they would be based on the pictures, but Tom had indicated this. My males have to wait for few months for the ladies to grow out I guess.I also asked him directly about the bad reviews; he indicated the happy folks don’t leave reviews and some of the issues faced in the past are resolved in recent times.I am happy with my purchases and the business is legit; do contact over phone for actual available stocks /color /size before ordering would be my tip.

Bf order some fish.Delayed - due to weather and holiday (good communication on that)Delayed again- “I had a sticky note on that tank” to set aside fish that was bought and sold all the fish. Absolute trash fish. Three different fish in one bag probably to squeeze as much profit out of the shipping cost as possible. Turquoise rainbow was DOA. Called said I could get it reimbursed on my next order. Well the Goyder River rainbow that I ordered came with a free bonus; ich. So needless to say, I don’t even want more fish from this seller, keep the trash Tom. And the Goyder River rainbow is not even red. 72 hours and the fish is still pale as a ghost and has now infected my entire 75 gallon tank with ich. The water in the bags smelled like toilet water. I just hope someone reads this review before shopping with this idiot so they don’t make the same mistake I did. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY ITS A RIPOFF. You oughta be ashamed of yourself Tom. Selling people sick fish, wrong fish, then touting yourself as some kind of legit business. Incredibly scummy. 0/5 if I could.

I found Aquatic Arts online and decided to order from them because they had most different species of tropical fish I wanted to replace in my tanks since April 2025. So I took a chance and ordered a lot of fish with them. I must say I had excellent customer service and great communication throughout my order until it was delivered. All of the fish were beautiful when they arrived. Kendra was an amazing person who assisted me along the process. Kendra was amazing and helpful the entire time. I communicated with another staff member twice but Kendra was just excellent at responding and answering all of my questions or concerns. Excellent quality; this staff knows the meaning of customer service - very helpful and responses to email were timely. My plants arrived quickly and were very well packed unlike other sites I've ordered from. I highly recommend Aquatic Arts and will be a returning customer.
