When it comes to choosing a veterinary hospital, the decision is often based on trust and personal experience. AM/PM Veterinary Hospital is worth considering for a few key reasons. The positive experiences shared by clients highlight a compassionate and gentle approach to pet care, which is invaluable, especially for senior or anxious animals. The transparent pricing model, where owners are given options without pressure, builds a strong foundation of trust and allows for a more collaborative decision-making process. The clinic's commitment to inclusivity is also a significant factor that makes it a welcoming space for all members of the community. However, it is equally important to consider all feedback. A highly negative review details a deeply disturbing experience involving a dog that was allegedly mishandled, resulting in physical and emotional trauma. This review raises serious concerns about the safety protocols and professionalism of at least one staff member, and the policy of not allowing owners in the back. While this appears to be an isolated incident based on available information, it is a significant piece of information for potential clients to consider, particularly those with large or easily stressed pets. For routine wellness, transparent pricing, and a gentle approach with pets, the hospital has received positive feedback. For more serious or complex situations, it would be wise for pet owners to ask about their specific policies and protocols to ensure they feel comfortable with the level of supervision and care provided. The hospital’s best qualities lie in its compassionate handling of routine care and its welcoming atmosphere, but it is essential for pet owners to weigh all aspects before making a decision.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1For a first time experience it was very pleasant and the workers are very helpful and kinda I have a now 13 year old Chihuahua. And I wanted to find a place that would be kind and easy with her and they did that the main doctor came in and sat on the floor with the nurse and was very gentle looking over her after they gave me a breakdown of things they recommended and things she needed with all the prices and ask you what you would like to do and what you don't with no pressure didn't feel like they wanted to just make money off me
April 08 · ghostslayer 3568I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR PETS HERE! I will never refer this place to anyone. On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:30 pm, we brought our one-year-old Cane Corso to AM/PM Veterinary Hospital for a routine vaccination appointment. What should have been a standard visit turned into an unsettling experience that no pet owner should ever have to endure. The unprofessionalism and unethical handling displayed by ALAN, the staff member responsible for our dog's care, left us beyond disgusted and deeply disturbed by the apparent lack of respect and compassion for our animal's well-being.From the moment we arrived, Alan's attitude was noticeably hostile and dismissive. When our dog had an accident upon arrival, we immediately requested cleaning supplies, only to be met with unnecessary attitude and visible frustration from Alan. His impatience was evident, setting an uncomfortable tone right from the start. Although our dog was already secured with a harness and leash attached at his back, Alan unnecessarily placed an additional leash around his neck, which was both excessive and distressing to witness. The situation escalated quickly. Moments later, Alan returned with our dog wearing a muzzle that was alarmingly small for his size. To our horror, our dog was bleeding from his mouth, leaving a trail of blood on the floor. When we questioned this, Alan casually stated that he "wasn’t sure why" our dog was bleeding, showing an appalling lack of concern or accountability for the harm that had clearly occurred under his care. My father, rightfully concerned, asked if he could accompany our dog into the back to ensure his safety, but Alan denied this request, citing a policy against owners accompanying their pets. He did, however, vaguely mention that he would "ask his manager," then proceeded to take our dog away once more. When Alan returned, now with a larger muzzle, it was evident that our dog's distress had only increased. His eyes were noticeably red, a clear sign of the physical and emotional stress he was experiencing. Growing increasingly alarmed, my father again suggested that they administer the vaccinations in the lobby area, hoping to minimize further harm and distress. Alan dismissively refused this request as well, insisting that they continue the process out of sight, further escalating our unease about what was happening behind closed doors.By this point, we were appalled and no longer trusted the facility to handle our beloved pet with the care and respect he deserved. We chose to end the visit immediately and left the facility, fearing for our dog’s safety. Later that evening, to our absolute dismay, we discovered that his left eye was bloodshot, a disturbing indication of the traumatic mishandling he endured during his visit. The lack of professionalism, care, and basic compassion exhibited during this experience is beyond unacceptable. To have our dog return home not only distressed but also visibly injured is horrifying and profoundly distressing. This level of mistreatment from a facility we entrusted with his well-being has shattered our confidence in AM/PM Veterinary Hospital, and we demand an immediate investigation into this incident to prevent any other pet from enduring such abuse.
October 30 · Briana GonzalezPET OWNERS BEWARE!! Dr. Bajwa no longer owns this practice. It has been sold to a company called Ameri-Vet. I'll relate an experience I just had with the clinic and you can decide for yourself if this is a place you want to take your pet.I've been taking my 19 year old shih tzu Benji to Dr. Bajwa at AM/PM for the last 8 years. Benji received as good of care there, as he has received ANYWHERE. Dr. Bajwa was kind and it was very clear that he loved animals! Benji developed an aggressive malignant tumor at the base of his tale several years ago. Dr. Bajwa surgically removed this tumor TWICE over the last 3-4 year. Recently the tumor came back even more aggressively than the past 2 times and the problem now is Benji is 19 years old and has several other mitigating factors. He pretty blind and has very bad hearing if any. The tumor is blocking off his anus and he has problems eliminating at times. He's given me 19 wonderful years and he's ready to cross the bridge. I would not put Benji through another day like that. He's just ready.Benji woke me up this morning yelping in pain. He preceded to yelp uncontrollably for the next 5-10 minutes. Anyone who has been through that knows how unnerving that is! I had to run an errand in Yorba Linda and thought, I'm going to stop into AM/PM and get maybe 2 of the chewable Carprofen tablets and maybe a mild sedative until I take 24 hrs or so to process that these are the last days for Benji. I relate all this to the tech at the counter and he excuses himself to speak with the vet on duty (who I thought was going to be Dr. Bajwa or his brother who was also a vet there at one time). The tech comes back and my ears just could not believe what they heard! The tech said, "A few things. #1, the vet will not dispense ANY medication for Benji". I stopped him just to make sure he was understanding what I was trying to tell him. I only wanted like something to make my dog's last 24-48 hours as comfortable as possible until I bring him in to be euthanized tomorrow or Sunday. The tech said that he understood my intension clearly which brought him to his second point! The tech then said that he noticed Benji had not been in a recent physical and therefore would not be able to euthanize Benji until that was done!!!!!!I had to let that sink in! I didn't know in that moment how to even respond to that! I stopped for a second to make sure that I heard him properly and I repeated it back to him. I told him, "Just so I'm clear, you are telling me that that #1, the vet will not prescribe ANYTHING to make my dog comfortable in his last day or 2 and #2, since Benji hasn't had a recent physical, you would need to do that to make sure he's what, healthy enough to put to death"???? "Are you kidding me right now"?? He assured me that he was in fact serious and that Benji would in fact need a physical in order to be euthanized. I left the clinic not even being able to see straight I was so angry. I went home and called the clinic and asked to speak with the vet and a person named Clara asked me what my concern was and I asked again to speak with the vet. I was very evident she was going to play gatekeeper and not put me through to a vet. Clara was then evasive when I asked what the vet's name was and refused to say anything until I asked when she addressed him, what did she address that person as? She simply said Dr. M. This is when she told me Dr. Bajwa retired and his brother left to go to dental school I think she said. It CLEARLY not the same clinic. This would have NEVER happened under Dr. Bajwa. Clara then proceeds to say the same things the vet tech I spoke with at the counter said. I'm still trying to process what the clinic was telling me!I'm 63 years old and have owned pets my entire life! I don't know what the veterinary equivalent of the Hippocratic Oath is but I'm sure the profession has something similar!! THIS WAS THE WORST VETERINARY VISIT I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!
June 06 · Michael RobertsWe switched to Dr. B after reading many positive reviews online and in local forum groups. Service was prompt, everyone was friendly and Dr B. is knowledgeable and brought up health issues that our breed could potentially be predisposed to. He and his staff were empathetic that my buddy was a bit nervous about being there and took the time to work with him.
May 14 · Karin ShueAlways our go-to trustworthy vet. We tried another vet nearby, but he provided white-glove rip-off services and recommended lots of unnecessary but expensive interventions. With a little bit of medical knowledge, it's not hard to spot the bad apples. The vets here are way more honest and professional. They only recommend the necessary treatment; if something is not worthwhile, they say so without trying to rip us off. This is one trustworthy vet. Come here, not those dishonest ones with nothing but sweet talks.
