★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The Upland location on Foothill closed, so I made an appointment here for 9 am today for my dog’s suspected ear infection. I get there before 9, go the counter, guy comes out asking if I have a question. I have an appointment. Fine, whatever. He says the doctor called out today. Okay, stuff happens. I ask when they were planning to let the early appointments know. He said “they” (whoever that is) started calling my block at 8:35 am. I didn’t get a call. I ask what number they called. He gives me my husband’s number.Fine, except they didn’t call him, either. After so much crap like this happening lately at a lot of businesses, I have no patience for this anymore. Stuff happens and people cancel, but don’t straight up lie to me about calling. Time wasted.
August 23 · Kelly LTo anyone that are looking for great staff and professionalism and great veterinary place with excellent vet doctors, come here!!! I can't remember everyone's name but Amber and her fellow colleagues really came through for my pet Sassy! They really showed so much compassion and went way above and beyond for me to help with my pet and her serious condition. Now she is feeling a bit better still recovering but I highly recommend coming here! Thank you Amber and everyone for all your support and helping me so much. I wish you all so much blessings for your big hearts and love for this kind of career and animals. Thank you again.
May 20 · Swaggbeats BI really wanted to have a good experience here, but unfortunately, I can't recommend this location — especially if you're in a time-sensitive or urgent situation. While on a road trip, we found a lost puppy with no microchip and decided to adopt her. We got her vaccinated and microchipped along the way, and everything was in order — except we still needed a health certificate so she could fly home with us.We brought her to Banfield on a Friday and were told she needed the Bordetella vaccine to travel within the state, which we later learned wasn’t true. Then we were given an incomplete health certificate, which made things even more stressful. We came back around 5:40 PM to get the certificate corrected, only to be told the vet had already left and we’d have to make a new appointment the next day. That wasn’t an option for us — we were on the road and had limited time. From late Friday night until early Saturday morning, we were scrambling to find any vet that could help us. Most clinics didn’t have anyone available to issue a health certificate on the weekend. We also called Banfield again Saturday morning, and they promised they would send us an updated certificate by noon. That update never came.Thankfully, with help from other kind clinics, we eventually found Little Tokyo Pet Clinic, who saved the day and got everything taken care of.This whole situation could have been avoided. Instead, we were left feeling anxious, frustrated, and completely unsupported during a critical moment for a dog we were just trying to help.
April 21 · WingYi NgThey are very understaffed. The girls in front are overwhelmed and take forever to help you.My dog had an appt. At 10:30.Went to pick up at 2:30 and the Dr had never even checked him yet.My poor dog was feverish, couldn't bark in pain, yelping. We didn't leave till almost 4 and still didn't know what was wrong. They gave us antibiotics for him but the Dr never came out to talk to us.The girls in front couldn't explain much!My dog is still not 100%.
April 29 · Debbie RamirezSo I brought my dog to Banfield to have a concerning lump examined and to find out whether it was cancerous. That was the main reason for the visit. Instead, I was hit with a long list of unnecessary treatments and fees that were not clearly explained—especially not during such an emotional moment. The total bill came out to over $800, even though I was initially quoted a much lower price over the phone. To make matters worse, we still haven’t received the results about the lump, but Banfield made sure to demand full payment on the spot—stating it would be sent to collections if not paid immediately. It feels like they prey on people who care deeply about their pets, upselling unnecessary services without transparency. Sadly, I walked away feeling scammed and taken advantage of during a very vulnerable time.
