Choosing a veterinary surgical specialist is one of the most important decisions you will make for your pet's health. What is truly worth choosing about Inland Empire Veterinary Surgical Specialty is our unwavering dedication to providing the highest level of care and achieving the best possible outcomes. Our focus is not on general veterinary practice but on a specific, highly skilled area of medicine. The real-world experiences of our clients speak volumes about the quality of our care. As one pet owner shared, when their five-month-old American Bulldog suffered a severe injury, they were faced with a long wait at a different clinic. A referral to our clinic meant the surgery was performed just two days later, a testament to our ability to prioritize urgent cases. The same owner noted that the final cost was even less than the original quote from the emergency veterinary hospital, all while receiving exceptional care from Dr. B and the professional staff. This story, and others like it, highlights our commitment to efficiency, expertise, and fair pricing. Another client, whose cat broke its leg in two places, praised our team for their genuine care and for helping get their cat in as soon as possible. The result? "Thomas walks like he was never injured." These are not just isolated stories; they are a reflection of our core values. We understand that pet care costs, especially for specialized surgery, can be significant. However, our clients consistently express that the cost is "so worth it" for the peace of mind and the successful recovery of their pets. We are the place to go when your pet has a serious issue, offering not just a procedure but a comprehensive plan for recovery that includes clear communication and dedicated support every step of the way. We are proud to be the trusted choice for advanced surgical veterinary care in California.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My only regret, is not writing A review sooner. Yes, the cost of a surgery is not inexpensive. Thankfully, we had pet insurance, which lowered the final cost 70%. Our five month old American Bulldog jumped out of a moving vehicle, we immediately took her to the closest emergency veterinarian. Unfortunately, they did not have the capacity to perform the surgery that was needed immediately. It was going to take at least 2 weeks for them at the earliest. Like often is said, everything happens for a reason. Because of their inability to perform the surgery I did some research on the web, then found IEVSS & Dr. B. Turns out, the emergency veterinary told me they refer and outsource to Dr. B regularly. Dr. B was able to see us and perform the surgery 2 days later. The staff was very friendly and professional. Front desk explained everything clear, was knowledgeable, and the coffee machine, waters, and drinks in the lobby definitely helped during the stressful time as well. The doctor and nurses were also very friendly, clearly communicated, and the total cost ended up being less than the emergency veterinary quoted me to perform the surgery (which I would have waited at least 2 more weeks for). The recovery process was not easy. We followed the same recovery instructions to the strictest standards. This meant a lot of time, sweat, and dedication. It all paid off and she is now 100 % recovered. Thanks Dr. B and IEVSS staff for all your help.
April 21 · Frankie GI was so impressed by everyone that works here. My cat Thomas broke his leg in 2 places. The ER stabilized him but he needed surgery. I called IEVSS and they worked to get his records and get him in asap. But they care, actually care about each pet they see ( and each owner) and it shows. Thomas walks like he was never injured.I wish we had vet care this good near me. Good vet care costs but it is so worth it. If your pet has a serious issue, this is the place to go!
August 07 · Robert GriffithThank all of your efforts in helping Sadie walk distances again or at all. Dad had his hands full and I think I'm in my best physical condition since high school - she was worth it.Thank you,Jerry B.
August 25 · Jerry BennettIEVSS was a great help my dog when he needed TPLO surgery. Dr. Miller explained everything in detail to help us understand what was going on and what to expect during the healing process. Staff was kind and courteous. Hiro says thank you!
April 23 · Jen AskrenDr. Miller - AMAZING! We came here for a 2nd opinion for our dog’s TPLO surgery. Dr. Miller spent an hour with me during the consultation explaining the surgery, recovery, what to expect, etc. The office staff was answering emails after hours, as I was a concerned dog mama and ran into some recovery “scares.” Unexpected to hear back overnight but so appreciated. They took the anxiety out of the whole process, were beyond thorough, set and exceeded expectations, and our boy was back to “normal” after a few short 8 weeks. The office staff is ON IT, along with the vet techs to the doctors. The vet techs sit with you and get acquainted with your pup before taking them for an exam and NOT ONCE did my dog hesitate. Every other place we’ve taken him, he tries to pull out of his harness to come back to me. A true sign they hire smart and loving vet techs. I hope we never have to return, but if we do, it would be here vs our vet or any other business. Thank you team, you made the very stressful experience bearable for a worrisome and scared dog mama.
