★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Additional: I was also dissatisfied with the female receptionist and the female security guard: they did not know the hospital's services and actually told me that the hospital did not offer cesarean sections! Fortunately, I got an appointment for surgery the next day.The stray cat my mom rescued unexpectedly became pregnant. When she started bleeding, I rushed her to a mobile veterinary clinic for a prenatal checkup. The vet told me she needed an emergency C-section—and the cost would be $1,750, which I simply couldn’t afford. Thanks to a suggestion from ChatGPT, I reached out to the ASPCA for help. To my surprise, they scheduled the surgery the very same day, and based on my income, I only needed to pay $212.50. I was overjoyed and so relieved for my cat!Dr. An,the veterinarian, was incredibly kind and patient. He even arranged interpreter services to make sure I fully understood the medical terms. The surgery went smoothly, and the very next day, Dr. An called to let me bring home the proud new mama and her tiny kittens.I am deeply grateful to the entire ASPCA team for their compassion and dedication. Because of them, my cat and her babies are safe and healthy. I hope to give back in the future by donating to the ASPCA, so this circle of kindness can continue. ❤️
July 31 · Zhang LianhongEveryone here is so nice, it's my first time coming here because my cat had a limp. Called at 8am and got an appointment for the next day for 8am, the waiting room was spacious and extremely clean and front desk were kind and fast with the process. I only waited 30ish minutes to be called because higher emergency takes priority which is understandable and I did not mind. There's a dog section and cat section that I did not know until I left 😅The only thing that I did not realize until I got home with my cat was that while the vet explained everything while checking my cat and all, did not explain thoroughly of the side affects the opioid would do to my cat, only told me the drug name and advising for me to not touch it. However I should've asked myself the side effects as well, so that was also on me, my cat is now doing slightly better but is still a space cat. She did however explain thoroughly everything else such as the bloodwork, feeling my cat, etcBut I also liked how they called me to update her on the results the next day and checking up to see on how my cat is doing/feeling. Overall I really liked the vets and how the treated me and my cat with kindness and patience, as well as front desk. It felt very comfortable there, I got sent with pain killers for her which I will start giving her once the opioid is out of her system. I recommend this place to anyone if their pet has a emergency that needs to be checked within the week ❤️Update:It's been more than a week or two now and my cat is much better, no longer has the limp and the drug wore off about 3 days after. However she's now way more affectionate compared to before, still bites hard when playing but REALLY likes pets now. Back then she would only let me pet her for a few seconds and then bite me. But now she comes to my hand and sleeps on my arm
August 19 · M. Awe have made the difficult decision to humanely euthanize our cherished four-legged companions, Luna & Layla.Despite the emotional turmoil and complexity of making that decision, the ASPCA was extremely accommodating once I was able to reach them on the phone. Their staff was courteous and helpful.Throughout regular working office hours, I was able to leave my number for a call back. I received the call back shortly afterward, indicating availability for the same day, which was a heart wrenching feeling to have knowing that today would be the last day. However, their staff was more than helpful not only with my pets but also with my emotional well-being during this challenging process. The facilities were exceptionally beautiful. The veterinarians were extremely polite and helpful. Both of my dogs received excellent care in their final moments. As a pet owner, making the difficult decision to let your beloved companions pass is the most challenging aspect of pet ownership.**Note:** If you are a pet owner experiencing an emergency over the weekend, the ASPCA will not be able to assist you. Their phone lines are not operational during these hours, and attempting to contact them will likely result in frustration. In the event of an emergency, it is imperative to seek immediate veterinary care. However, if you are not experiencing an emergency, it is advisable to make an appointment during their regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.Street parking is unavailable without risking a parking ticket or potential towing. However, a parking lot is available for payment a few hundred feet east of the ASPCA, and meter parking is available one block north.
February 27 · Piero RamosThis place was absolutely amazing. If I could leave 10 stars, I would.First off, to get an appointment was extremely difficult. You have to call 8am on the dot. The wait time over the phone was very long but I promise it is worth it, especially if your pet has an emergency like mine had.I eventually was able to get a same day appointment and when I arrived, my dog and I had to wait for about an hour before being seen. Once seen, he was immediately taken care of.He had a bowl obstruction and was required to have surgery the next day. Doctors and staff were constantly keeping me up to date. If I had any questions, they had no issues answering.Whoever does come here or plan to call for their appointment, keep in mind that this place is more for emergencies than anything else. Other pet owners will be there waiting as well, most likely for follow ups or emergency related issues, so don’t be surprised if there is a bit of a wait when you get there. But like I said before, the wait is worth it.Overall, my dog was admitted on a Friday and I got him back on Monday. With the IV fluids, his surgery and overnight stays, everything came out to $250. (I believe prices vary from people but that was my price)I am absolutely grateful for this place and amazing staff. They saved my baby and his recovery is going great so far 🫶🏻💕 Hope this review helps.
December 27 · Mireya CortesI was looking for a low cost facility to take my two pets.. After seeing the reviews. I changed my mind, especially the cat behavior after being treated..As well the owner response when others are speaking their mind … His belly is full he doesn’t care … if he gets good reviews or not…In life you get what you paid for…. Bottom line… My pet deserves the best …
