Dr. Charlton, Dr. Kile, and the entire office were amazing! We rushed our pug named Percy early on Friday. They made room to fit him in as he was not eating or drinking water. They did blood work and an x-ray, but could not find anything. Dr. Charlton called me personally and helped us every step of the way. They did an ultra sound and found a kids toy stuck in his stomach. They did not have any availability that day to do the surgery, but they called around for us as I was not having luck finding a place that could take him in last minute. Dr. Kile was able to find an office. They even sent over the results of the ultra sound so that the Dr. knew exactly where the toy was stuck. Dr. Charlton even followed up with me personally along the way to check in on Percy. Highly recommend GoodVets. Without Dr. Charlton and Dr. Kile Percy would not have made it. Thank you Team! - Daniel Ahluwalia

  • Preventative and Routine Care: The foundation of their practice is preventative medicine, including annual exams, wellness exams, and routine blood work. They offer a full schedule of vaccinations, including puppy and kitten vaccinations, and provide important preventative treatments for fleas & ticks and heartworms.
  • Medical and Diagnostic Services: The hospital is equipped for advanced care, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, and a wide range of treatments for illness and injury. They handle common issues like ear infections and cat allergies, and manage more complex conditions such as dog and cat cancer and cardiology.

  • Specialized and Integrative Medicine: The clinic offers specialized care for senior pets, including geriatric medicine and senior pet care plans. They also provide integrative medicine, such as laser therapy for pain management and recovery, and offer services like regenerative medicine and oncology diagnostics.
  • Urgent and Emergency Care: While not an emergency hospital, GoodVets Paradise Valley is a vital resource for urgent care and handles pet emergencies during their open hours. They can perform "life-saving procedures in moments of crisis for our patients," providing a crucial service to the community.

What is Worth Choosing GoodVets Paradise Valley

For Arizonians seeking a top-tier veterinary clinic, GoodVets Paradise Valley offers a compelling combination of clinical excellence and compassionate service. The most significant reason to choose this practice is the peace of mind that comes from their comprehensive, client-focused approach. The personal, empathetic care from doctors like Dr. Charlton and Dr. Kile, who go above and beyond to personally follow up on a pet's progress, builds a level of trust that is essential during a health crisis.

The clinic’s transparent pricing and willingness to work with pet owners on financial decisions are also major benefits. This approach contrasts sharply with the experiences of those who feel pressured or blindsided by unexpected costs, allowing pet parents to focus on what matters most: their animal's well-being.

Furthermore, their ability to serve as a reliable source for urgent care during business hours provides a crucial layer of security, especially given the various health challenges pets in Arizona face, from heat-related illnesses to conditions like Valley Fever. While they are not a 24-hour emergency hospital, their swift action and readiness to refer to a specialist when needed, as demonstrated in a patient's story, shows a genuine commitment to the best possible outcome for every animal. The combination of medical expertise, a compassionate team, and a modern, accessible facility makes GoodVets Paradise Valley a highly recommended partner for your pet's health in the Phoenix area.
