Hope Veterinary Group Introduce
For pet owners across Connecticut, finding a veterinary practice that offers comprehensive services and a truly caring environment is paramount. Hope Veterinary Group in Stamford, CT, stands as a distinguished choice, functioning not only as an animal hospital and veterinary pharmacy but also providing a range of additional services such as pet boarding and grooming. This integrated approach ensures that all aspects of your pet's well-being can be managed under one roof, from routine health checkups and vaccinations to more specialized care and medication. This convenience is a significant benefit for busy New Englanders, allowing them to streamline their pet care without sacrificing quality. The practice's dedication to providing a full spectrum of services is a testament to its commitment to supporting pets through every stage of their lives.
Hope Veterinary Group is founded on a deep-seated commitment to compassionate and expert veterinary care. As a women-owned business, it brings a unique perspective and a strong sense of community and empathy to its practice. This is reflected in the high praise it receives from long-term clients. One satisfied customer shared their experience with their 15-year-old Maltese, Dakota, describing the staff as "excellent, and friendly" and "very responsible and fast" whenever they needed anything. The glowing review from the "Di Cara Family" highlights the exceptional care provided by Dr. Lambrich, praising her for being "patient, gentle, kind, compassionate caring," and always prioritizing the pet's needs while including the owner in all decisions. This level of personalized, empathetic care is a hallmark of Hope Veterinary Group and a key reason why they build such strong, trusting relationships with their clients and their "fur babies."
However, it's also important to consider all aspects of a customer's experience. One review points to a potential area for improvement, expressing disappointment with the front desk staff's organization and communication, despite a fantastic experience with the veterinarian, Dr. Colgrave. The customer noted a lack of follow-up on vaccine scheduling and a general feeling of disorganization. This feedback, while critical of a specific experience, is a valuable insight for potential clients to be aware of the importance of clear communication with the front office, even while the medical care provided by the doctors remains highly praised. The practice’s own recommendation for appointments suggests that planning ahead is key to a smooth visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They are excellent, and friendly. My 15 year old maltese,Dakota, was their patient for a couple of years and they were great to us. Whenever we needed anything they were very responsible and fast. The receptionists are accomodating and friendly. I would highly recommend bringing your fur babies to Hope!!
June 07 · Paula BReally disappointed overall by my experience. I had seen reviews and that’s why I wanted to take my new puppy here.Dr. Colgrave is fantastic but the front desk staff was lacking in seeming like he was organized and was on top of everything.I had called twice after my first appointment about getting my puppy her vaccines required for preschool and he told me I should just wait even though I told him I want to get this done. This morning I called first thing and he said he would talk to Dr. Colgrave about my puppy coming in earlier than scheduled so we can get her all set and still haven’t heard anything… his response when I called was “I will take to Dr. Colgrave” not what’s the best number to call you back on or any sort of time as to when I would hear back.
September 12 · Lily MittlemanThey are magnificent, very informative and friendly. The facility is very clean and the staff is well informed as well as the Dr’s, they sit down and explain everything to you that’s best for your fur baby, not just try to solicit things that your pet doesn’t need to get more money. They even give goodies and perks as new pet patients, but the best part is Mrs Cora she is such a delightful funny lady, from the first phone intake, to actually meeting her in person. I think she’s the sunshine that makes Hope Veterinarians even better!! I would highly recommend bringing your fur babies to Hope!!
November 06 · Patricia LeeI can’t say enough great things about Hope Veterinary Group! My 85lbs Aussie is SUPER anxious when it comes to vet visits, but the team here is beyond amazing. From the moment we walked in, they were so friendly and welcoming, making both of us feel completely at ease. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make sure your pet feels cared for, even under stressful circumstances. They were so patient and gentle with him, which is a big deal for a nervous dog like mine. When we had an emergency, their quick response and calm professionalism were a lifesaver. I felt like we were in the best possible hands. And let me tell you, his neuter surgery went so smoothly! I was a nervous wreck, but they explained everything clearly beforehand and called me with updates. The recovery process was a breeze thanks to their thorough instructions and follow-up care. It’s clear they genuinely care about every animal they see. If you’re looking for a vet that treats your pet like family, Hope Veterinary Group is THE place to go. I’m so grateful for their incredible team – they’ve earned a customer for life!
