This means that whether your pet has been in an accident in the middle of the night or needs a consultation with a board-certified specialist, they can receive the highest level of care under one roof. The staff, from the front desk to the veterinarians, are committed to providing a transparent and supportive experience. As noted in a customer review, they provide clear information on pricing and procedures up front, offering a realistic and honest approach during a stressful time. Surgery: The center offers a full suite of surgical services, including both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, performed by skilled veterinary surgeons. In a testimonial, a pet owner noted their dog's prompt surgery for bladder stones and wonderful recovery, highlighting the center's capability for advanced surgical procedures.
The synergy between the emergency service and the specialty departments is a key strength, allowing emergency cases that require specialized follow-up care to be seamlessly transitioned to the appropriate specialist within the same facility. These features underscore the center’s dedication to not only providing high-quality medical care but also ensuring a supportive and transparent experience for the pet owner. They are a professional and compassionate team that is truly focused on the well-being of their patients and clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had to take my Benny boy in because he wasn’t able to pee correctly. He ended up having stones. Everyone took such great care of him and gave me all the info about pricing and the procedures up front. They were very realistic with me which was helpful. He needed surgery , which he got promptly , and they took care of him overnight for a few nights. Sent him home and he’s healing wonderfully !! They even gave me some sample cans of food for him to try to find the one he likes since he needs to be on a special diet the rest of his life. Thank you so much to *all* the staff there, including Dr Salas, Rafe, and Lex! You all took such great care of him and he’s doing so well!! I am so glad he can finally be pain free!

From the moment Molly and I walked in, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion.Dr. Salas treated Molly with such gentle, expert care that I instantly knew she was in the best hands possible. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explain every step clearly, and make sure Molly was comfortable and calm throughout her visit. It wasn’t just medical treatment—it was true kindness and dedication. The staff at Valley Central Veterinary Center is just as remarkable. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond—whether it was helping us feel at ease, answering questions with patience, or showing Molly so much love and attention. August 11 · Suzanne Cochrani cannot thank the staff, nurses, and doctors at valley central veterinary hospital enough for their help. i rushed in on sunday night at 1am for a potential blockage for my cat donut and they not only saw him immediatly, but also kept me in the loop with frequent phone calls detailing every update.unexpected vet bills are insanely expensive but coming from someone who has experienced a traumatizing pet medical emergency in the past in NYC, the work this hospital is doing is literally charity work. they asked for a deposit when i decided to go home for the night and i was fully expecting to have to pay nearly triple when i returned, but i actually got a partial refund. they voluntarily shared an itemized receipt upon discharge and shared his records with my local vet and local emergency clinic. i took a chance and drove over and hour to come here because my other local emergency clinics could not offer what valley central could. i am so glad i did.again, thank you so much to everyone here for the work you do! i highly recommend this hospital not only for their honesty, pricing, and well-equipped staff/resources, but also for their friendly and caring staff! ❤️
August 13 · OzOne of the worst experiences I've had as a pet owner!! We were sent by our regular vet due to a possible foreign object obstruction in our 13 y/o cat. He had been vomiting, secluding himself and listless. We waited ~4 hrs and were told he had a linear obstruction that would next day surgery. When asked how much, Dr. Rilling quoted $6k - $8K and then looked at us blankly when we said we weren't able to spend that. She was apathetic in telling us we could call around for a cheaper price but if he didn't have surgery he would be in intense pain, become septic and die in 8 - 10 hours. So they were willing to euthanize him. They were so callous in their delivery that I could not in good conscious let that them do the procedure. As I was sharing all of this with my friend - I realized the surgery would be the next day. Why would he live for them but die for us. Thankfully after their attempts to guilt and scare us, I listened to my "gut" and we took him home. We did not expect him to make it through the night. We had an appointment the following day with our wonderful local veterinarian who said she would euthanize him if that was our decision. The next morning, he walked upstairs, jumped on my lap and purred. We were cautiously optimistic and the vet agreed to see how he did over the next 48 hours. A week later - he is alive and well as you can see by his picture. This is the second horror story I can tell you about this clinic. If you have the choice go anywhere else - I wish we did.
August 29 · Miranda MatzAn Extraordinary Veterinarian in Extraordinary Times – Thank You, Dr. GiffordFacing a major surgery for our beloved Corgi, Emma, has been one of the most emotional and challenging experiences our family has ever gone through. But through every step of this journey, Dr. Gifford, DVM, has shown a level of care, compassion, and thoroughness that has brought us immeasurable comfort and confidence. From the beginning, Dr. Gifford treated Emma not as just another case, but as a cherished family member — with warmth, empathy, and a deeply reassuring presence. Her ability to explain complex medical issues with clarity and patience helped ease our anxieties and made us feel seen, heard, and supported. In what felt like a dramatic and overwhelming situation, her calm demeanor and genuine kindness have been a lifeline. What truly sets Dr. Gifford apart is her extraordinary attention to detail. During Emma’s CT scan, she identified a subtle sign of potential lung cancer — a critical finding that might have been overlooked by others. Instead of shying away from the complexity, Dr. Gifford immediately committed to addressing it head-on, offering a clear and compassionate plan forward. Her willingness to take on this additional concern, while already preparing for Emma’s tumor resection surgery, speaks volumes about her dedication and depth of care.As an added benefit, Dr. Gifford also offered to remove two unexpected lipomas that were found during imaging — going above and beyond to give Emma the most comprehensive and thoughtful treatment possible. This kind of proactive, holistic care is rare, and we are so grateful for it.Dr. Gifford is, in every sense of the word, exceptional. Her surgical skill, her vigilance, and her heart have brought us peace in a very uncertain time. We trust Emma’s life to her hands — and that trust has been more than earned. With deepest gratitude,The Harris Family
