WAGGERS Introduce
For pet owners in California, especially in the Sacramento area, finding a local business that combines a passion for animals with high-quality services is a top priority. WAGGERS, a women-owned small business, is a premier destination that serves the community as both a pet store and a professional pet groomer. Located on Arena Boulevard, this establishment is dedicated to providing not only essential pet supplies but also expert care to keep your furry companions looking and feeling their best.
WAGGERS prides itself on being more than just a retail store. It's a place where expertise in pet care and a commitment to customer convenience come together. The business offers a variety of service options, including curbside pickup and delivery, which are invaluable for busy pet parents. This focus on accessibility and customer needs reflects the values of a small business that is deeply connected to its local community. The staff, including groomers like Kara, are committed to a professional and compassionate approach, as evidenced by a positive review praising her patience and expertise with a young puppy's first grooming session.
However, like any business, customer experiences can vary. A different review indicates a change in service quality after a change in ownership, with one customer expressing dissatisfaction with a recent grooming appointment. While this is a point of concern for that individual, the business's overall mission remains to provide a friendly and inclusive environment, as highlighted by its LGBTQ+ friendly policy. WAGGERS strives to be a welcoming place for everyone who loves their pets, offering a quick and efficient experience for those in need of supplies or a professional grooming service. This combination of community values, convenience, and specialized care makes it a noteworthy part of the Sacramento pet landscape.
WAGGERS is conveniently located in Sacramento, California, at 2051 Arena Blvd # 130, Sacramento, CA 95834, USA. The store is situated in an easily accessible area, making it a simple stop for residents of Sacramento and the surrounding regions.
The business has made a conscious effort to ensure its services are accessible to all. It provides a wheelchair accessible entrance, allowing all customers to enter the store with ease. Additionally, there is a wheelchair accessible parking lot, which simplifies the process of bringing pets to the store or picking up large supply orders. WAGGERS is also designed for a "Quick visit," making it an ideal destination for those who are in a hurry but still need to grab essential pet supplies. The variety of service options—including curbside pickup, delivery, and in-store pickup—further enhances its accessibility, allowing customers to choose the most convenient way to shop based on their schedule and needs.
WAGGERS offers a dual-service model, functioning as both a pet supply store and a professional pet groomer. The services offered include:

- Curbside pickup for convenient, contact-free service

For pet owners in California, choosing a local business to support is a great way to invest in the community. WAGGERS is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that go beyond a simple transaction. First, by being a women-owned small business, it provides a distinct option for those who want to support local entrepreneurship and diversity in the marketplace. This identity often translates into a more personal and caring approach to customer service, as highlighted by the positive review about the groomer Kara's professionalism and care.
The convenience offered by WAGGERS is a major selling point. The ability to choose between in-store shopping, curbside pickup, and delivery means that you can get your pet supplies in the way that best fits your lifestyle. This adaptability is particularly valuable in a fast-paced area like Sacramento. Furthermore, the dual role as a pet store and a groomer makes it an incredibly practical choice. You can handle multiple pet care tasks in a single visit, saving you time and effort.
While one review expresses dissatisfaction with a particular grooming experience, it's important to remember that individual experiences can vary. The business’s overall commitment to providing a friendly, inclusive, and accessible environment for a quick visit is a strong foundation. For these reasons, WAGGERS stands out as a convenient, community-focused, and versatile option for pet owners in the Sacramento area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had our 5 1/2 month old Golden Retriever groomed for the first time. Kara was very professional, she took time to explain what she would be doing providing what our puppy would allow her to do without too much anxiety. She did a great job!
January 19 · Tami DeMeyerIve been taking my two little dogs there for years even after it changed hands. I tried it once since then and its definitely not the same. One of my little dogs has long hair on his face that gets really messy. When i picked him up one eye looked nice but the other one was still dirty and matted. She wanted to charge me another $20 to trim that eye like it should have been done right the first time. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Fortunately there are lots of decent groomers in the area.
June 24 · Kitty RollinsWaggers is a wonderful neighborhood, pet grooming boutique . The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming and my pups come out of there looking amazing. I used to take my pups to PetSmart and while they did a good job, my pups have a better experience at Waggers because it is a smaller more personable experience for them and for me. Highly recommend!!!
July 19 · Sabrina KhanMy dog just turned 8 years old and has began losing his eyesight. He has never been professionally groomed, I’ve always just shaved him down when he gets fluffy. He also hates his paws being touched and he’s a very itchy, sensitive mamas boy. To say I was anxious about taking him, is an understatement. I am his emotional support human LOL. We had my boyfriend bring him in to alleviate any anxiety on both of our parts and waggers was so wonderful and patient with both of us and our fur baby. When my boyfriend picked him up he said they were very respectful and kind when they voiced their concerns about his toenails and hair inside his ears. To be honest I wasnt expecting a super professional cut because he’s wiggly, this was his first time and hates the vet etc… but he looks SO HANDSOME!!! Thank you so much ladies :)
August 07 · SaraI needed to change my appointment for Cooper and Kayla was accommodating on short notice. Upon pickup Kayla let me know that Cooper was a handful like not wanting his feet touched. She took it all in stride. And as usual Cooper was newly groomed handsome boy. Thank you Kayla
