★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Sharp was so helpful. She kept me updated with Jake’s care and helped me understand the possibilities of what is causing my his health issues. I can tell she loves her job and gives personal care to each patient. The vet tech that assisted her ( I’m not sure what his name is) but he was very kind and helped me feel comfortable. He explained the prices and was very gentle with my large nervous dog (a lot of people get scared) but he handled it like a champ and Jake was very comfortable with him.
May 06 · Samantha VieraVetco was absolutely wonderful. I brought in my Poochon, Sir Winston, who typically doesn’t react well to vaccines—he’s thrown up in the past and even went limp once. This time, they gave him a medication similar to Benadryl (a Diphenhydramine injection) to help prevent vomiting and monitored him closely after his shots. The doctor was friendly and made me feel like we were in great hands. I’m so grateful for their care—Sir Winston didn’t get sick at all overnight, which was such a relief!
April 24 · Michelle BrydenthalDr Sharp is very caring & conscientious. She has taken good care of Minion for the 5 years "Mini" has been part of our family. The staff at Vetco Pasadena South, especially Bianka, Jasmine & Juana, are also caring & attentive. They take good care of Minion when she is nervous about being at the vet. April 04 · Tani KayeTook my two cats to the place today, wanted them to give my cats vaccinated basically. Their vaccination center was fully booked so I booked the hospital. Ended up didn’t get vaccinated and paid for the vet visit for $180 or something. The main vet was fine. She did general check everything was ok. Then they took my cats apart with me to the back for the vaccines. After 20 minutes or something, the nurse came out and said my cats were too scared and aggressive for them to vaccinate. Excuse me? They were doing absolutely fine in the vet room when I was there and not showing one sign of aggression(except when vet’s hand reach to one of my cats belly, he hissed, no bite, no kick). How come for you to expect two unfamiliar cats to be not scared and aggressive to the humans they never met before when their owner was not around? I asked if we could vaccinate them in one of the front rooms so I could be there and calm them. She said no. I normally never write reviews. So far, it doesn’t really get me to write this review. However, After I brought them home, they started panic and anxious, even hissed at me. I don’t know what they did to my cats to make them to be like this but I will never bring my pets to here once again. Not recommended
August 18 · ZachI came here around in July for my dog that had a cough, it’s a late review but I can not explain how miserable the experience was. The nurses were fine but the Main doctor was not even empathetic when I was worried about my dog. I came in for the free pet exam which is a blessing for many who can’t afford pet insurance. But when I got her checked out they brought my dog back and the doctor came in telling me I only had two choices either to get her blood drawn or get have her get an X-ray to see what was going on because it could be “ HER END TIME”. At the moment when she said that I was in shock and honestly didn’t even care about replying to that reply because u trust a doctors word. She said the words like they were nothing. For a dog parent , it’s hurtful when you have a companion pass away. So for a veterinarian who you assume is passionate about her job should definitely understand what pet parents feel. We asked if we could get medicine for kennel cough because that’s what we thought our dog had, she proceeded to give us the medicine although she was SURE it was just something else but now my dog is healthy and running around happier than ever. But hearing “its gonna mean end time” for my dog. I thought it was unprofessional and upsetting how you can be a veterinarian and treat your animals like an object and give devastating news with a mad look on your face. Don’t take your pet here unless you want lies. The photos are how my dog came and how my dog is now. If I would’ve believed her that my dog was dying and wasn’t just kennel cough I wouldn’t have my best friend by my side
