This is a place where you're not just a customer; you're part of a community. The staff's dedication to the well-being of the animals is palpable, and it shows in the health and vitality of every creature they sell. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is my go to spot. I love them because they truly care about the animals and as my experience goes, they spend time to get to know us, the customers as well. My daughters very first frog was bought special from them. When we went out on vacation they let us keep him there for a great price. Kermit is very happy too.
May 19 · crydioxI love going to this place. Always a friendly, good vibe. Just recently i asked for some advice on my tokay. I was advised to increase the basking temp and humidity. In just the past couple days i have noticed Chomper basking more than before and spending more time in the bottom portion of his enclosure instead of staying up in the top.

March 21 · AustinGreat customer service, the people that talked to us were really nice & actually seemed interested in us as customers. Went in to buy feeders, and they only have live or fresh killed rats. I got fresh killed to freeze & use as needed for my snake. Keep in mind the 3-stars on this review hinge on the fact they seem to have better reptile husbandry than other shops I've seen in the area. The feeders I was provided with were great sizes and exactly what I've been trying to get for my snake, however at least two out of the five small rats I was given had mites; I cleaned them with water before freezing when I got home, and saw larva on the paper towel I used to dry them with. Posting here because I see no mention of a potential rat mite infestation in other reviews.edit: contacted their number (I now know I should have done this before writing this review) and showed pictures of the mites, later got a voicemail saying they got their vet out to examine their rats and that they're mite free, and that I either got a "faulty batch" or what i was seeing was "dirt from the bedding they use"—i can see mouth parts on the supposed dirt, and dirt doesn't squirm. Saying I possibly got a faulty batch is just wrong and leads me to believe you do not check your rats over even just as a precaution before culling/selling them. I've checked over the rats I was given 3 times in the past 2 days, only 1 of them I couldn't tell if there were any mites or not and it was a grey one so of course orange colored mites are gonna be hard to see. Could be lice instead, but your vet should've picked that up even if they were looking for mites. I will not be contacting again, as I think this store has made up their mind already and just wants me to remove the bad review (especially since they already have several regarding their animal's welfare) and that any further discussion is gonna be fruitless, even more so now they got their vet approval. I don't want a refund or replacement. I will be buying from somewhere else next time.Wish you all the best regardless, though
June 18 · - WestAmazing and clean family owned company. I’ve been going here for a few years. Doesn’t matter the day or time the enclosures are always clean and healthy. The staff has a passion for all animals and always willing to help out and answer questions. With prices that won’t break the bank I highly recommend visiting, never know what new friend you’ll leave with!
