Veterinary Emergency Group Introduce
In the vast, sprawling landscape of Arizona, where our pets are not just companions but family, having access to reliable, high-quality emergency veterinary care is not a luxury—it's a necessity. Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Phoenix is a beacon of hope for pet owners facing a crisis. This animal hospital is designed from the ground up to provide immediate, expert care for our furry, feathered, and scaly family members, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlike a typical vet office, VEG is built to handle the unexpected, with a focus on urgent and critical care that makes all the difference when seconds count.
The VEG philosophy is centered on a compassionate, transparent approach to veterinary medicine. They understand that a pet emergency is a stressful and frightening experience for everyone involved. Their unique model aims to reduce this stress by allowing pet parents to stay with their animals throughout the entire process, from intake to treatment. This level of involvement fosters trust and allows you to be an active participant in your pet’s care, making a difficult situation feel less overwhelming. This is a significant departure from traditional emergency vet experiences, where owners often wait anxiously in a lobby for updates. At VEG, you are part of the team, working together with the medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet.
The team at VEG Phoenix is comprised of experienced veterinarians and veterinary professionals who are not only skilled in emergency medicine but are also deeply passionate about animal welfare. Their commitment is evident in the compassionate and efficient care they provide. They are trained to handle a wide range of emergencies, from a sudden illness to a traumatic injury, and they do so with a calm and reassuring demeanor. This expertise, combined with their empathy, is what truly sets them apart and has earned them the gratitude of so many Arizona pet owners. In a moment of panic, knowing you have a team you can trust is invaluable, and that's precisely what VEG provides.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing staff! Literally living their calling and providing compassionate care to our fur babies! They helped save Max on his worst day! He was practically going septic and ended up having a huge infectious abscess in his hind leg. The team took amazing care of him and the doc was able to drain over a liter of pus out of that leg. Max is home and recovering now. Thank you Phoenix VEG! We are forever grateful!
July 19 · Jessica LetuliCare is top notch! 100% recommend. My dog was having issues urinating. They immediately provided a private room and performed their intake. Started the care plan right away and made my dog feel very comfortable. Forever grateful!
August 25 · Daniela Villegas LopezThe staff are AMAZING!!! super welcoming and made us feel at home!! Always with a smile and reassuring us! July 16 · Angel OrdinolaThe BEST vet experience I have had whether emergency vet or otherwise. They are incredibly compassionate, both toward the patients and the parents of the patients. Besides compassion their top qualities are organization, efficiency, transparency when it comes to pricing, transparency as to what is a much needed test versus a test that may or may not be necessary. They took great care of my bearded dragon Sunny! He came in with a lower respiratory infection and the vet knew what to do even though this is not a specific emergency vet for reptiles. While we were waiting they set up a heat lamp for Sunny to make sure he was comfortable.Sunny is doing much better!
August 07 · Ryan AndersonThey were SO thorough and helpful. Robyn generously stayed an extra 2 hours after her shift to give my cat an ultrasound. I have been struggling to get my cat a diagnosis but the staff at VEG gave her their full attention and recommended specialists to us. I am soooo grateful for all of their help and support!
