We used Angel Vet’s services to free our 11 year old cat Router from his cancer pain. We had never used at home euthanasia before so we weren’t sure what to expect. Everyone we spoke with was very compassionate with us, from on the phone scheduling (and rescheduling) to Dr. Fox and Allison on the day of. We chose for our other animals to see Router afterwards, and we appreciated Dr. Fox and Allison’s patience with us and understanding when we asked them to step aside to another room so we could bring our dog that is nervous around new people out to say goodbye. I would absolutely recommend Angel Vet to anyone that unfortunately needs their services. Thank you for all that you do 💚

These people are angels, the most compassionate people i've ever met. If you have a pet that needs putting down and you truly love her. These are the people you should call, my dog didn't suffer at all. She went to sleep. I was by her side and they took care of all the rest. We understood that they couldn’t do the surgery and we got referred to a hospital that could but they sent us home with no splint after saying they would give him one. They offered no pain meds and no bandages so our cat is lying around with a broken arm waiting for an appointment at any animal hospital that will take him. Absolutely worst experience for our cat who was drugged for x rays and sent home with nothing to help his pain. It was towards the end of the day since it was an emergency we were walk in. It felt like they were trying to get everyone out so they can go home and just dumped our cat on us and immediately shut house.

They use scare tactics to sell you services that you don't need. If you cancel an appointment, you will get harassing calls from off-shore reps telling you that your pet could be in danger and that you must reschedule your $200 appointment.We were unfortunate enough to be sold a monthly membership by the vet who came by. At first, I didn't think that we needed it but the vet was determined to sell me the membership which I'm now certain she earned a commission on. She told me that the membership is non-binding, that I could cancel at any time, no fees, etc. So I did what I thought would be best for my cat. She proceeded to sell me additional services and treatments for my cat. After I lost my patience with the harassing calls, I asked to cancel my membership, feeling relieved to at least have a way out of this disgusting deal. I was appalled to receive an invoice for $500 for membership cancellation!!! Apparently, although I paid for several months of membership, the vet who sold me the membership conveniently left out that all discounts for treatments sold to me under the membership would be retracted retroactively and that my outstanding balance is $500!!!!! Mind you, this is after I've already paid the company hundreds of dollars for completely irrelevant treatments, in hindsight. My cat, Sara was and is perfectly healthy and none of this horrible ordeal was even necessary.I called customer service quite upset and was told by a representative by the name of Sarah that these are the terms of the agreement that I signed and they refuse to cancel the invoice, ignoring the fact that I did NOT enter the agreement in good faith, that I never would have agreed to purchase those services had I known the full, absolutely ridiculous, price. She threatened to "terminate the call" because I didn't eat up her bullshit.The best part is that I received an email from them that if I don't pay the invoice, they will keep charging my card automatically every month to cover the balance!Bottom line: They will scare you by telling you your pet needs overpriced services, make it look like you're getting a discount, and then send you the full balance with absolutely no transparency. What kind of vet can feel comfortable manipulating people like that??Absolutely horrible company. I advise all pet owners to stay away unless you have a ton of extra cash that you need to get rid of ASAP.PET LOVERS: WE ALL KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE VET BILLS CAN GET! DO THE RIGHT THING AND SPREAD THE WORD SO THAT NO OTHER POOR ANIMAL LOVERS WILL BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY!!!! SHAME!!!!

Two hours before my appointment was to take place, I received a call from their schedulers letting me know that they were canceling my appointment because they were “running late”. I have never gone to a veterinarians office and have them not keep my appointment because they were running late, but that is exactly what this business did. They rescheduled me for Monday afternoon, understanding the reason for my appointment was because I had a sick animal. The day of my appointment, they once again called to cancel my appointment because of scheduling issues. When I mentioned this was not a good business practice and I had a sick animal, I was offered a $50.00 Gift certificate. I explained I did not want a $50 gift certificate, I wanted a veterinarian to examine my sick cat. I am absolutely, completely disappointed in The Vets. I have now made an appointment with an actual brick and mortar Veterinarian service. A mobile veterinarian service might be fine if it’s run correctly, but canceling two appointments, both just hours prior, for a sick animal doesn’t work for me.**Dr. Marshall still remains one of my top vets ever. I will 1,000,000% always recommend him.FIRST VISIT: The Vets were absolutely amazing in every single way!! I cannot say enough good about them and the service they provide! Not only was it easy to schedule the appointment, but The Vets sent reminders and time/scheduling several times prior to my appointment, which was very helpful.The appointment itself couldn't have been any better! To have a veterinarian (and tech) come to your house was the best! No more having to deal with getting animals into carriers or into the car, driving to the vet and having to wait in the reception room for your turn.The Vets show up at your house at the allotted time and it's all about you and your animal. It's literally the difference between flying first class and the main cabin.Dr. Marshall was our vet, and he was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and gave us (and our cat) his full attention. This vet clearly loves what he does! The vet tech who came with Dr. Marshall was equally as wonderful and incredibly efficient.1000% recommend The Vets!50 thumbs up!!

As a first time cat owner it's been surprisingly smooth I thought I'd run into more bumps along the road but that goes to show the quality of the kittens raised at this cattery thanks to Ruoqi.Right out the gate they were confident and exploratory, smart enough to learn their surroundings and find the litterbox in a large living area. They're super loving and have not been shy to strangers visiting. They've also been easy to train and handle and are already growing so big, I'm excited to see how big they grow in the coming months!

She will never talk to you. She will not respond to direct email replies at all even when they say if you have a question ask me. You will only speak to Raoul who is her underhand and seems really nice. At first. Then when you have questions after not having a piece of paper included in the packet they send you he gives me two wrong numbers to call and says "that's all there is sorry you didn't get it done earlier" I did some more digging and found out neither of the numbers he gave me were the right one and I got everything finished. I'd give this a two star if she didn't get me a "good deal" as they tried to claim it because of covid being a huge thing right now and I got a few small bonuses. Just don't trust that they'll continue to answer your questions that you paid for. They wont.

This place could definitely use some occasional maintenance. One of the brushes is leaking soap at the end of the hose. So there’s less foam coming out of the actual brush.

We consulted with their radiation oncologist who examined our cat and quoted us a fee for treatment of $16,000 to $17,000. We went home to discuss our options and received a formal quote the following day of $22,900. When I responded to this inquiring as to why the verbal and written quotes were so different I was told by the doctor that he doesn’t set the prices. This is an unacceptable practice to me. A bait and switch that is played off of emotions. I was considering treatment at the cost of their initial estimate and everyone would have been happy. I would not recommend this office.They lack compassion and decency.

From the first moment I contacted them on the phone about my dog in March and after 2 months, I continue to have a 10/10 experience,Hats off to the rock star department-Radiology Oncology- Dr. Moirano (thorough, caring, great bed side manner, really takes his time to listen and answer any questions/concerns you may have), Justin (superstar front desk, always smiling/making you feel welcomed), Laura, Amanda, Nicole (2x), Melissa and everyone else in the back scenes I did not get to meet. The most warm, caring, loving group of people & I couldn't have asked for a better team to care for my girl.Facilities are clean, parking is plentiful, the waiting area is spacious, coffee/water readily available and the friendliest staff on tap! Ignore the negative reviews because you would be doing your animal a disservice for not coming to VMCLI (no matter what department you are in need of)

July 12 · Tammy MazzaTwins veterinary agreed to evaluate my dog on an urgent basis, even though he was not their client.. my regular vet was closed.. And I knew of Dr. Cintron’s expertise. Thankfully he was able to evaluate my dog admit, and treat him.. i’m so appreciative that they went above and beyond to accommodate my dog. It was worth the 45 minute drive from my area. especially in an emergency situation you want the best clinician troubleshooting, and diagnosing.. He only orders the necessary tests to come to a diagnosis.. Since my dog is only comfortable in cold environments, I was happy to know they were able to accommodate him as he does not tolerate temps above 60°.. I was able to rest easy as I knew he was in the best hands and would be taken care of.. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful! This is by far the best veterinary practice I have encountered I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Gilbert saved my dogs life, both Gilbert and Carlos will never recommend unnecessary testing or imaging. Both doctors are great at diagnosing. The techs in the office are extremely caring, loving, and patient as well. We have been going there since they opened their doors and will continue until they retire.

I brought my cat in for a standard check-up and he went above and beyond to inform me on things I was either misinformed about (regarding my cats vaccines) or that he just felt I should know out of his genuine love for animals. You can tell in how he speaks, how knowledgeable and empathetic he is about animals. He will NOT make you feel bad for any mistakes or misinformation you have but instead kindly share his knowledge and opinion in a way that makes you feel confident to ask him anything. I will definitely take the long drive back up to him when my cat needs care again. The petco store that this vetco clinic is located in is also very big and nice! Super organized, fully stocked and they had kitties!!

The girl who sits at the desk is extremely unhappy, not willing to help or give any advice or information to help the customer: the doctor prescribed oral medication for my puppy with the wrong dosage on the bottle, gave me the wrong syringe to administer the medication. When I went in to to ask she pretty much called me stupid that I’m supposed to cut the syringe. And in the end they gave me the wrong syringe along with the wrong dose and not to mention they didn’t even give me enough of the medication for five days every 12 hours like stated on the bottle. I honestly will never go back after my puppy finishes his package that I paid for. I do have to say The store manager at PETCO deserves a raise , she’s a pleasure to deal with, she was extra helpful and informative.

Everyone was extremely helpful, kind, and made sure to only do what was necessary in order to give my cat the best possible care. This location is very clean and they took us into the room promptly and were very efficient. I'm so grateful to this team! Special shout-out to Dr. Bekhit and Frances, you are truly amazing!!

Vet and rest of the staff is super friendly, I'm glad this location opened up, its great that I can go to one place to get all my dogs needs. they have it all an awesome vet , amazing Groomers, a super friendly dog trainer and of course treats and lamb chops toys after a big day out for my dog. And the store Is always cleaned and the staff on the sales floor is always so excited when I bring my dog in.

My dog’s weight was taken and the visit had clearly started, but nearly an hour later I was suddenly told I couldn’t be seen because the doctor wasn’t in. She also claims I didn’t confirm my appointment an hour after she checked me in already. I was never informed of this when I arrived, and the staff had already begun the appointment process. Franky H. gave multiple conflicting explanations and made several statements that didn’t add up. She refused to give her full name and dismissed my concerns. The entire experience was disorganized and felt dishonest. Franky H. Is extremely unprofessional and deceitful.

I wish I remembered the medical assistant’s name but she had glasses and tattoos and she was also very kind and sweet. Dr. Cimetta was also very friendly and reassuring. They all gave my kitten so much love. My kitten is my first pet as an adult and this was my first time visiting any veterinary office besides a mobile clinic and it was a great experience all together. I would definitely return!

June 18 · Nury BartolomeWent there for an emergency exam for my baby cat since she had been experiencing digestive problems. The vet tech who was supposed to help us had a lack of empathy and welcoming to my baby cat. Asked for her name, and she said not to worry about it. She had short hair with pink highlights and big build. I explained to her our situation and told her the kitty was still a baby and she was really scared. The lady laughed only... She knew my cat was scared and still forced her to take the exam fast by grabbing her by her back, not the neck. When her little neck cracked, I was so nervous, too. The doctor eventually came into the room, and she proceeded to do a rectum exam.. I understand the cats can feel discomfort and may be hurt during this procedure, but my baby cat was bleeding and screaming in pain I asked the doctor if it was normal, and she just gave me a tissue while she continued bleeding. This whole appointment could've had gone in many different ways to not hurt the cat, but I think they were just rushed and did not care about my cat at all. The lack of professionalism and empathy was immense. The only one who was sweet enough to check on the cat was the billing lady. I recommend not going to these big corporate vets and instead a small clinic. You'll probably pay the same 250$ I paid without having to traumatized your cat. Mind you, after this appointment, my cat continued to bleed for 3 days straight. Till I took her to another small clinic.Here I leave you a picture of my baby cat crying as proof these 2 ladies need to either be fired or retrained.

The vet we saw (Dr. Fielding) was very thorough in her examination and explanation of issues for which we needed answers. My only complaint was the amount of time spent waiting once we were put into an examination room. We were in the room for about an hour from start to finish. Overall, the level of care was worth the wait. As for price, it is not any different from my prior private vet.
August 20 · Michelle DThis was my first visit to this location for my new pet Yorkie. He is a rescue and it was recommended that he gets a check up. He had ear infection in both ears and he needed some shots. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The veterinarian was very thorough when answering my concerns. I made sure I had all of my documents and wrote out what I feed my Yorkie. The exam room and reception was very clean and air-conditioned. The veterinary assistant explained all costs and I wasn't pressured add additional services. I felt so at ease. I also asked and received an itemized bill so I can send for reimbursement. I will be back for for my Yorkies checkup.

February 16 · Kristi MI absolutely love Petco Vetco every single one of the doctors are absolutely amazing. I bring my dog here to get all his shots and his checkups. I also bring him there to get his nails cut. They are so nice so patient very very accommodating. I have the Vetco insurance and it helps out a ton by taking off the visit fee and a discount off of everything else. I have never had a problem with his every day care for emergencies of course I go somewhere else but they are great for shots and everything else. I add a picture of the cuteness that goes here.

Also used a very unclean comb to see if my dog had fleas … which she didn’t . I was more worried she’d catch a flea from that comb. . Wouldn’t go back unless it was a last resort

He was in critical condition, and though we arrived only 10 minutes late for our appointment—due to traffic—they refused to see him. Despite being his primary care provider and clearly seeing he was in distress, they told us to find another clinic because he didn’t look like he would make it another day.The vet walked past us twice without even acknowledging us or our dog. I can’t understand how someone in this profession could show so little compassion.We were heartbroken. Thankfully, Olde Towne Animal Hospital, where our dog had never been before, told us to come right away. They took him in immediately and treated him with such care and urgency. Sadly, our beloved dog passed away that afternoon.I’m devastated to be writing this review, but I truly believe he might have had a fighting chance if he had been seen when we first arrived. No pet or pet parent should be treated this way in their moment of crisis.

The vet did not even mention the possibility of this and assumed he was eating the wrong food and directed us to try a prescription diet and of course he did not eat.We ended up finding the rabbit and was able to put two and two together.Best to put all the r possibilities of what could have been wrong.Now our pup is as he normally does after we removed the dead animal.

However I had to review and give a bad score because as I walked out into the parking lot I realized my car was towed. The store manager accused me of parking in their lot and going shopping at Marshall’s next door. They provided incorrect evidence (a photo NOT of me). I spent 2 hours in PETCO with 2 small children and a dog and spent $100. Needless to say, this was a bad experience in the end. Thankfully they brought my car back after waiting half an hour.

July 17 · Guilherme CastroThis is my honest review of the outstanding experience I had at Vetco in Sheepshead Bay between 8/5 and 8/6.On 8/5, my 7-month-old AmStaff/Corso puppy developed diarrhea. I first contacted our clinic in Baldwin, NY, but they informed me they were fully booked and suggested I call other locations. After unsuccessfully trying two other clinics—where the phone simply rang without an answer—I finally reached the Sheepshead Bay location, about 30 minutes away, and spoke with Nia.I explained my puppy’s condition, and although she told me they were also fully booked, she asked if Baldwin had placed me on their waitlist. Waitlist? I had no idea such a waitlist existed, and it hadn’t been offered to me. Nia then took my contact information and said she would try calling other pet owners scheduled for that day to check for cancellations. I honestly didn’t expect to hear back from her, but a few hours later she called to let me know there were no cancellations that day—however, there was one the next morning, and she booked it for me.At the appointment, we were seen by Dr. Motelb and her assistant, Eric. Both took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, patiently answered my many follow-up questions (which I kept thinking of each time one of them left the room), and treated my very, very excited puppy with kindness. It was obvious they truly enjoy what they do.When my puppy accidentally had diarrhea in the exam room, I offered to clean it up myself and asked Eric for gloves and supplies. Without the slightest fuss—and still smiling—he cleaned it for me.Thanks to this experience, I’m happy to say I’ll be making the 30-minute drive to Sheepshead Bay as our new primary clinic.

My original appointment was scheduled for 12:00, but I received a call asking if I could arrive 15 minutes earlier to accommodate them. I agreed. Due to an unexpected delay, I arrived at 11:56, only to wait an additional 5 minutes while the front desk finished a phone call. After that, I was told I could not be seen because I was "late."Instead of showing the same flexibility I had extended to them, I was dismissed. The second staff member who came out to reinforce the message walked away without any regard, which only made the experience worse.As a customer service manager myself, I would never leave customers feeling unattended or dismissed. This was a disappointing experience, and I sincerely hope they strive to do better.

Upon my arrival, there was no one at the counter to greet me for about eight minutes. I had called in previously about my Pomeranian’s cough, and when I got to the clinic, I placed my dog on the high seat. A staff member eventually came out and said, "Where’s your dog?" After I greeted her, I pointed to my dog and was met with, "Grab her." I was unclear if that meant to bring her closer to the staff or if she needed to go to the back. The staff member then stated that my dog shouldn't be around other dogs, which was concerning to me. Had I known that my dog might be contagious, I would have kept her isolated prior to coming in.Additionally, I traveled two hours from the Bronx to visit your clinic, which I felt warranted a bit more consideration. My visit was for a free examination check-up, but there seemed to be a lack of clarity regarding what that entailed. When I explained my purpose to another staff member and showed her my dog's vaccination records, I was unexpectedly charged for a shot that was due. It felt as if my clear communication had not been respected, and it was disheartening to feel overlooked.While I encountered some challenges with the staff, I want to commend the veterinarian. She was incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic, and truly embodied the integrity that I believe should be reflected throughout the entire team. Unfortunately, my experience with other staff members did not match her level of professionalism.Furthermore, I noticed the examination room was not clean; there were blood stains on the needle box, which is concerning from a hygiene perspective. It appears that there's room for improvement in the cleanliness and attentiveness within the facility.Moreover, I also found it disrespectful when a staff member mispronounced both my name and my dog's name and dismissed it casually by saying they would assign a nickname. I believe it’s essential for everyone to be addressed correctly, as it shows respect and professionalism.Overall, I hope my feedback can contribute to enhancing the overall integrity and experience at your clinic, ensuring that all clients and their pets feel valued and cared for. I appreciate the support provided by the staff at your facility. However, it sometimes seemed that the interactions were overly scripted, as if everyone was aware of their roles and the nuances involved. I believe it's important to treat all clients with the same respect and consideration that one would extend to someone they hold in high regard.As pet owners, we all share a deep love for our animals, and many of us may lack veterinary expertise. When seeking your assistance, some of us come primarily driven by our passion for our pets rather than technical knowledge. Therefore, it’s essential for the focus to be on the love we have for our animals and on finding solutions that do not burden our community.I want to clarify that my experience was not solely negative; I recognize that there were some compassionate individuals in the team who genuinely cared. I brought my other cat, frida, for a rabies shot and the front desk was extremely rude to me (not same staff as last visit). even worse, I was told they wouldn’t give her the vaccine due to an internal policy, even though my cat dorothea received the exact same vaccine here just two weeks ago. they said since i’m traveling abroad they wouldn’t give her the shot, however two weeks ago i mentioned travel plans openly (the staff even shared a list of clinics I could go to get a pet travel certificate). I came all the way from astoria for this appointment and left feeling disrespected and frustrated. the lack of consistency between staff and the unprofessional treatment at the front desk completely changed my impression of this clinic. can’t put in words how sad today was.Original review: I am beyond happy and satisfied with the service at vetco union square! the whole staff was friendly and treated my cat dorothea with so much love! she’s usually an anxious shy cat and the fact she felt very comfortable there made me the happiest. also the prices are great. highly recommend.

August 05 · amanda pI booked my appointment a few days before easily on the app. since my dog is groomed here and he loves coming here I thought it would be a good idea to keep it all under one roof & I was right, my dog needed a vaccination. From start to finish we had a great experience. Reception was welcoming and the vet tech and doctor were exceptional. They genuinely care for your pet. We are going back next month to have his teeth cleaned and get 2 more vaccinations.

August 29 · Earth GoddessReally disappointed in the customer service received at this location. My son brought his dog in for a routine check-up and was told she might have a mild ear infection and was sold “prescription” ear drops. The drops that he was sold are not prescription and the price he was made to pay (close to $60) is almost 3x the amount for the same medication and size anywhere else (even Petco). To make matters worse, the bottle is broken and constantly leaks. When I went back into the Total Care and explained both issues, I was told there was nothing that could be done! I was not looking for a refund, the product was used already but I was asking for fair pricing for a broken item or at the very least, a replacement bottle. No assistance was given.When I contacted the Vetco Customer Service number that I was given by the person at the register, I was told that this location isn’t associated with their customer service! So, you think that you’re going to a large company location and that if something goes wrong they will make it right, but that’s not even the case!If you must bring your pet here, question everything, make sure the “medication” sold to you isn’t something easily available OTC for a fraction of the cost, and make sure it isn’t broken.I want to be clear that if it was even up to a $15 difference, I wouldnt have made this an issue but a $30+ difference is basically price gouging. Hard lesson for my son, counting every dollar as a college student, to learn.

We usually visit the Butler or Hackensack locations, where the service has always been exceptional—professional, empathetic, and truly caring. Darla is always treated like family, and I’ve never had a single issue. Unfortunately, my experience with the Mt. Vernon location at 50 East Sanford Blvd. was the complete opposite.My dog is currently dealing with a health concern, and after trying other vets, I trusted Vetco to care for her. Mt. Vernon was the only location with availability for Friday, August 1st, so I scheduled the earliest appointment for 8:30 AM and even received a confirmation text the day before that required a response, which I sent.However, as I was just 10 minutes away from the location (around 8:05 AM), I received a call informing me that my appointment was canceled because the vet wasn’t coming in due to an emergency. They canceled on me with only 20–25 minutes’ notice, yet customers aren’t allowed to cancel within that same window without penalty. To make things even more frustrating, I later realized that Google lists this location as opening at 9:00 AM—so did I even really have an appointment?I explained that I had taken the day off work and asked if they could help me check other Vetco locations since I was driving and couldn’t look myself. I was told flatly, “No, I can’t.” There was no empathy, no effort to assist, and no accountability—even though the issue was entirely on their end.And to top it off, before the call even ended, I heard one of their coworkers in the background say, “Who is that?” as if it was a joke. Maybe try hanging up before talking about customers.This was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience. I’ll continue to use Vetco because of the great service at other locations, but I will never return to Mt. Vernon and would not trust them with my dog’s care. Terrible customer service from start to finish. Avoid this location if you care about your pet!!!

She was super kind, patient, and really helped clear up some confusion I had about the difference between the clinic and the hospital. She also made rescheduling my appointment quick and stress-free, which I really appreciated. It’s not always easy dealing with scheduling and pet care at the same time, but she made the process smooth and welcoming. You can tell she genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners.

She was very warm & loving towards him. The Veterinarian was extremely calm natured and our dog was very receptive. He didn’t fight him like his other vets. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable with his diagnosis and suggestions for our dogs next course of action.

I brought my senior cat here when she wasn't doing well, Dr. Abdul showed compassion and care while handling my baby. He took time to speak with me about my concerns and possible treatment when I walked in without an appointment. The vet techs and front desk staff are amazing as well, they are well informed about my cat, even when I haven't seen them. They helped me through the process with any questions, and also made time for me last minute to put my poor baby to sleep. They are very compassionate and love what they do. I appreciate all the care they provide. Thank you.
August 22 · Lana KLove this vet! They are so kind, and all truly are animal lovers. They’ll always do the best to help you out and give your pet the best care they can. Arsen the vet tech is amazing, he really helped my dog feel calm and cared for. He’s really good at what he does and you can tell he enjoys it! Dr abdul also is great, he really helps explain things to you and they won’t do things not needed to just take your money. Prices aren’t too bad either for a vet Highly recommended!

He was very thorough and professional, he cleared all my concerns regarding the procedure, discussed the pros and cons of the procedure and reached out to us one week after the surgery to see how my baby is doing. The tech was very attentive and explained well how to give medications. The receptionist was very kind and patient with the payment situation. Definitely a 5 star and worth driving from The Bronx..

July 19 · IG TI had a great experience with my cat's visit! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the tech to the vet. Everyone made me and my cat feel super comfortable the whole time & staff were all very informative about the the tests, vaccines, and billing of the visit. Hackensack is easily the best Vetco clinic we've ever been to.
August 07 · alex breadWe were really disappointed and disheartened with the grooming service for our dog. The groomer, Brie, recommended cutting our dog’s fur very short due to knots on the legs and ears, but the result fell far short of our expectations. Our dog is usually very cute and fluffy, but after the grooming, he looked like a completely different animal.We clearly told Brie that we did not want the fur cut too short, but she insisted that it would be harder to manage the knots otherwise. We were miserable with how short the fur ended up being. Additionally, our dog didn’t smell like he had been freshly bathed, and he seemed unhappy when we picked him up, as if he had an unpleasant experience.Overall, this was a very upsetting experience, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. July 19 · LakI had my first general check-up with my puppy today, and it was a great experience! Everything was quick and well organized. Dr. Rodriguez was extremely observant and professional. I felt very comfortable, and even better, my baby felt safe and was wagging her tail throughout the visit. Highly recommend!

Gunther isn’t a huge people person. They take their time to make him comfortable, and don’t rush anything. I recommend this place to everyone! 😊

Lisa went above and beyond to try and get us scheduled with an appointment after learning about what’s going on with our pet. Christine was very friendly as well. Everyone from Dr. Rodriguez, Katie, and Jackie were also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!
August 13 · Kaiyen LiangOur first visit...To be honest, after taking my 2 cats and a dog to various vets in the area, I really didn’t have any grand expectations. It was just another sick visit. But, boy was I wrong! The front desk employees were warm and welcomed me with a compassionate smile. The first thing I noticed when entering the exam room was how clean and organized it was. Jack, the vet tech, was exceptional. They listened to me carefully as I explained what was going on with my cat Oscar, asked all the right questions and made me feel comfortable and heard. Dr. Beeber came in shortly after Jack left. He was gentle with my Oscar, attentive, informative and answered all my questions clearly, never rushing or dismissing me. If you’re looking for a new vet, a second opinion or just out of curiosity – head to Vetco in Teterboro with your fur-baby, you both will be happy you did!
June 15 · Monika KrolThe Vetco Total care @ 165 Bricktown Way in SI NY 10309 is a great place to take your dog if he needs any care ,vaccinations or tests. This Petco location has a great staff . Fran a caring and kind receptionist who is truly knowledgeable what your dog will need and Daniel tech staffer is very pleasant caring and takes down all your questions and concerns about your family pet to bring to the attention to Dr. Saad makes you feel comfortable and gets back to you with answers as soon as he knows. Dr. Saad is a caring Doctor who treats your pet conditions and needs quickly and explains things to you. As far as price I find that I save more money by going to Petco for most of my dogs needs . Everyone there is friendly and makes your stay and your pets stay a truly pleasant experience. I am pleased with the care that my dog receives there.

After caring for it at home for about a week, we brought Fernando to Vetco and they took such good care of him! He got a rabies shot because we didn’t know to bring his baby-paperwork, but they made it so simple. DANA — Dana, Dana, Dana — you were so comforting and gentle (with both humans and feline!) and assured us we’d be taken care of! Thank you, Dr. Saad, for the antibiotics, and the CLEAR instructions to trust that the medication was doing its thing. As we left, Fran was amazing, helping us schedule a follow-up for the next week (just in case), and let us know that Vetco would always be our best friend when it comes to our furry loves! Thank you!Happy to report that Fernando is healed and back to his mischief! 😻

May 14 · Laure and CushI have a great experience with Dr. Mohamed and staff at Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital there. It’s our first time experiencing our beloved cat, Alpha, being seriously ill. She went several days without eating and had a high fever, which left us extremely worried. Following the advice of Dr. Mohamed and after receiving her blood test results, we took her to the emergency room, where she was given antibiotics for treatment at home.Thankfully, she’s now showing signs of improvement. After the worst moments, better days are finally coming. We’re truly grateful.
August 27 · Thoa LeThe services are fine - haven’t really had issues with that. The nurses are also usually very kind to us. However…. There have been a few times now that the vet himself just seemed uninterested in how we felt or what we thought about anything. He consistently would talk over me and not really take my concerns into consideration. Just felt like a push to do more services (even if they were necessary, I still think hearing the concern of your client should be important to any Dr) or additional products. This final time, when I was getting overwhelmed by everything he was suggesting and the cost, he seemed as tho it was a bother to him and very uncomfortable. Just my experience but this being the third time I have left feeling like his bedside manner needed work, it became frustrating. I am going to see if there is another vet at this location or I will switch altogether. But again, my pets have not been harmed or negatively impacted by this office and the nurses are impeccable!

May 05 · Joyce PastorilHad all 5 of my animals membership there now have to look for a new vet. Manager Roger is terrible. Horrible attitude and no empathy. Shocking someone who works at a vet would be like this. Don't recommend. Its sad because the nurses are all very sweet and helpful but like he said. He is the Manager and they nor the doctor's have any say over him. Don't be late because your cat is choking and vomiting in the car and you have to pull over. 10 minutes late you apparently missed your appointment and must reschedule although no one was even there waiting. Very disappointing.

Even though I made it clear that I did not want my cats to receive the rabies vaccine, they insisted on it, and as a result, they refused to examine my cats. This caused a great deal of stress for my pets and also led to a grueling one hour trip back and forth with my poor cats. I strongly urge others to steer clear of this clinic
August 27 · SaraTerrible experience at Vetco in Totowa and Clifton – they’ve lost my business and my two petsI’ve had nothing but bad experiences with Vetco. The same two employees, Carly and Natalie, were rude and unprofessional every time I visited.I took my cat Fluffy to Vetco. I paid for both his vaccines and a microchip. No one told me I had to come back for the microchip separately. Later, when I asked about it, they said it had expired, so I lost my money. That was extremely frustrating.Then I brought my other cat, Puffy, for his first set of vaccines. After the first dose, they told me to come back for the remaining two. I made an appointment and drove over an hour from New York to the Clifton location, taking time off work. When I got there, Carly told me they ran out of one of the vaccines. She didn’t care that I had an appointment or had traveled so far. I had to come back a third time just to finish Puffy’s shots.Today, May 25, I had an appointment for Fluffy to get his rabies vaccine. Carly refused to take him in, saying the notes said he was “difficult” and that I’d have to return during the week when the full care hospital is open. I woke up early, got both cats ready, and drove to Totowa, just to be turned away.I kept getting emails saying Puffy was missing a vaccine. I brought him in again, only for them to tell me he was actually fully vaccinated. Another wasted trip.When I asked Carly to help me make a new appointment, she refused and told me to do it online. When I asked for her name, she said Carly. But when I asked for the other girl’s name, she said she couldn’t tell me and that I had to ask her myself.The customer service here is awful. The staff clearly doesn’t care about pet owners or their time. I’m beyond disappointed.Thankfully, I found Bond Vet in Montclair. They’re open on Sundays, were extremely kind and helpful, and Fluffy got his rabies shot with no issues. The staff there treated us with respect and care.Vetco has officially lost my business and my two pets. I’ll be going to Bond Vet from now on.

This time again an hour. “ They're behind.” Dogs don’t understand why they’re sitting in cubicle on a cold table for an hour.. what is the point of making appointments when they are not honored? Why can’t these vets get organized? We have other responsibilities and canceling appointments neither helps the sick dogs nor us. The visiting Vetco was the best -so organized and timely -in and out in 10 mins. This current system is deplorable.

May 25 · Ingrid AlvaradoI went there on Saturday the 14th because the previous time I was there the vet seemed like a nice guy and honest. However, this second time he was not there, and two other people looked at my dog. They were very nice took pictures of the ear and said they would give all the information to the vet so he could contact us with a recommendation on Monday. Monday came and no call or text, then Tuesday we kept calling and just getting an answering machine every single time and were unable to get through to anyone, but we left messages. Regardless of this still nobody contacted us or called at all. I will now have to take my still sick dog somewhere else to have him assessed again and pay another assessment fee as well.

They make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome to ask anything! To my surprise the Dr was apparently rushing because at 1230 was her time to go on break.As a pet parent, I’m concerned and need to be educated and explained terms for a better understanding. Am I the only one thinking this way?The premises are clean, presentable. Is just customer service that is not the best. Maybe Lacey the front desk attendant was a bit more easy going.

Dr Ibrahim seems to lack empathy and is too fast at speaking when giving you a conclusion of your visit. This was not a regular check up, I actually had an issue with my pet and needed exams. I was rushed and disregarded by the staff as if they had better stuff to do other than assisting concerned pet parents.Would limit my visits to this location while the staff remains here.Terrible service ‼️
May 16 · Mara SIf you need a veterinarian this is the place to go (kinnelon NJ). Every single body there is so great. The whole entire staff (from start to finish) are extremely thorough. Mike is the manager there and so wonderful, amazing, compassionate, I can go on and on about how great he is. I love Dr. Lauren Rodriguez, shes the best and not pushy (like other vets, like with shots, etc.... ). There is a new vet named Dr. Griffin and I'm so looking forward to meeting her as well (I hear wonderful things about her as well, from my daughter). Thank you Vetco Total Care in Kinnelon, would not go anywhere else.Thank you for all you do for all the pets in my family.

The doctors, vet techs, and front desk staff have always been so good to my dogs and then today I had the pleasure of speaking with Mike the Hospital Manager for an insurance issue. What a wonderful person. I was stunned at how he reached out to offer to help and then immediately did so and updated me right away. I’ve had dogs all my life and honestly the way the people at Vetco Kinnelon truly care about their patients is unmatched. I am so thankful, they are the best of the best. Five stars is not enough.

Dr. Rodriquez was very knowledgeable and informative. They were extremely transparent with costs and don’t try to sell you on anything. Will definitely be going back!
June 07 · Sophia LeograndeI am very disappointed with ALL of Vetco. My dog had an urgent issue and needed to be seen. They told me to wait 4 days for an appointment. They even told me to call around to other locations. Why they couldn’t I don’t understand. I called a local vet and they got him in same day, did lab work, gave him fluids and meds. At his last Vetco visit the doctor didn’t even come in. They just took some blood and gave vaccines and that’s it. We are not coming back.

Previous Vet never took an Xray and denied a refill script of gabapentin while my Lea was suffering. 5 Stars for Petco and their great staff.

June 26 · Laura LeeYou get people in the door by advertising very reasonable prices that are not honored in person. Very misleading and I would argue fraudulent. I ended up paying a reasonable price, but only because I advocated to have the advertised price honored or walk out. Also called to tell me my dog needed medication, but could not provide me with printed information regarding the prescription. I didn't end up purchasing the medication from Vetco because I found it very unethical that the office could not provide me with dose and pricing information. Also had to wait 30 minutes at the office for technicians to prepare my medication, even though I was told it would be ready for pick up and then had to leave with nothing because no prescription had been prepared. Very sketchy and unprofessional.

Brought our cats to the vaccination clinic and despite being told via phone the day before that they would administer the cat only rabies vaccine, they gave them both the combo (which can cause cancer in cats) and told us after the fact. We knew that there were supply issues, as we previously went to Tractor Supply and did NOT choose the combo vaccine for this specific reason. So, we were excited to follow through with Vetco since they had it in stock. Instead, they lied and gave us the pamphlet after the injections!Customer service is not US-based and you can't contact the vaccination clinic directly. They told me this after 5 phone calls where they pretended to "connect me to the right department" and "let me speak with someone at the Providence store." If you care for your animals, take them somewhere else.
August 05 · Cindy DixonWow! I am very impressed. Needed a rabies vaccine for my bulldog Gunner, they tried but he was very unhappy and wasn’t having it. They were so understanding and sent me home with some medication to help for the appointment the next week. Today we went back and I voiced that while sedated I still didn’t think he would let them give him a shot. They listened and suggest maybe a walk and a sneak shot. I agreed, we walked him outside and as soon as he was distracted it was done and he didn’t even notice. Dr. Delvicco and everyone we dealt with at both appointment were so wonderful. Dr. D really cares about the animals well being and said next appointment he’d be willing to see him outside if it made him more comfortable. I am so happy to have found them.

Such a difference from where we were.Let's hope it stays consistent.Had our 2nd visit with a different Dr. Delvecchio and it just got better and we are so amazed.We were those people who stayed clear of the "corporate" vet and it's been the best experience over all others we have been to.Of course it's all about who's hired at the local level but, this group at this location has shown love and compassion above and beyond.Even the receptionist! Wish I remembered her name.

My baby Charlie has bad allergies and has to get allergy shots monthly so we are in the office a lot. With having allergies sometimes issues pop up and any time I have a problem with my fur baby they get me right in and treat Charlie with the best of care. The staff from the doctors, assistants and the receptionist are nothing but exceptional and always make you feel welcomed. Allie and Dr fisher go above and beyond for Charlie’s needs and help ease his anxiety’s and I know he is in good hands when he is with them. I can’t thank them enough for giving my Charlie boy the best of care always!

Dr. Rice is knowledgeable and a clear communicator, and he's always very gentle and patient with my cats. All of the techs are fantastic as well (Nancy, Justin, Jenny, just to name a few!). Makenzie at the front desk is also super friendly and helpful.From vaccines to specialist referrals to blood work to X-rays, they have always provided my cats with great care. The techs and doctor are very communicative about costs and in my experience will recommend but never push for specific treatments. I really enjoy bringing my cats here. Thanks for all you do!
May 06 · K ChampacoGreat job mis-diagnosing my Tibetan Terrier, Bob as having conjunctivitis in his eye. 4 weeks and 2 prescriptions later, his condition was getting worse.A total waste of more than $200.We took him to a qualified canine ophthalmologist and he was prescribed the correct treatment.He is now almost completely recovered.

The staff was very helpful and kind and when I called Susan got me in right away and was very pleasent to deal with as well as Dr Rice. They took good care of Daisy and had her feeling better quickly. I would definitely recommend this hospital if you are looking for a place to bring your pet.

Everyone was very gentle and sweet with my cat, and Dr. Rice was patient, gentle, and very thorough in addressing my concerns for her health. June 21 · Natacia JonesA year and a half ago , My little dog and I went through a marital separation and relocation to a new home.It was very stressful for both of us, but he Obviously could not understand What was happening or why.His behavior became extremely destructive and extremely dangerous To the point where I was told he needed to be crated againWhen he had not been created since he was a pup,and medicated as well.The previous vet on staff put him on a medication to calm him down, which it Immediately did!I did not realize it’s a medication ideally for short-term use.When I called Last week for an appointment and For a refill,it was mentioned to me that other options regarding his medication would be discussed Once I arrived.I became so worried for him to have to be weaned off one medication and then go on another one and have to deal with side effects from those not knowing what they would be while he’s doing so well on the current medication.I Was stressed out during the phone call with the manager, Connie, Because I was so worried about him and how he would adjust, and she Patiently listened to all the dangerous situations that occurred With my little little boy regarding his anxietyand had me on hold twice to speak with the doctor and then come back and relay the response to me.I no longer live close to the store,I was very apprehensive on the drive downI walked in and as always was greeted with friendly smiles.But there was a new smile there as well, and it was Connie, the manager who had patiently been on the phone With me for a significant amount of time.I was greeted in the most Friendly manner, Put at ease that I indeed do have a voice regarding my dogs treatment.Connie gave him a cookie that he wouldn’t eat until we left the store but he loved it!We were treated so kindly and patiently by Crystal, who came in the room with us and got all the information necessary for the doctor and also spoke so patiently to me To put me at ease.And then Dr Erickson comes in with the most beautiful smile And the most gentle and kind manner,and reassures me that yes indeed I do have a voice regarding his treatment…we Discussed the need for blood work in the future to make sure everything is OK,Also Discussed an herbal supplement to help him relax,Which someone went and got for me!I didn’t think he would like at all and he Ended up, gobbling it right down☺️Because I live 30 minutes away now, she asked if a two month prescription would be better for me to get down there to see them.Then the conversation went to food and the best food for him and both Dr. Erickson and Crystal Were very helpful and the next thing I know I’m being brought over to a young woman named Katie, who took me to the back of the store and helped me to find a better food for him than the one he had been on.I was patiently and kindly guided through the doctors recommendations as well as having my concerns honored ☺️And…Because of the rewards,the bag of food was only $.94 !Because of the rewards,I Only paid $15 for the medication and the supplements!So, after being so stressed that my voice would not be heard,That I Might have to leave and find a vet closer to home…This team did Everything They couldto assure me that they were on my side and my little boys side…And that we were in a Place of excellent service and genuine caringAnd we are both,Very grateful ❤️

We found caring, professional and knowledgeable staff, they were very accommodating to our scheduling needs and our doggie seemed quite pleased as well with all the attention. They even helped us use several coupons and discounts via Vital Care app which lowered our cost considerably from already reasonable prices. Will be back.
July 13 · Kena CoupI took both my dogs, Bishop and Riley for a yearly check up and some vaccines. I have to say the staff was amazing, Particularly Kayla. She explained everything in great detail, answered all my questions and made my pups feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.
August 17 · Maria GuzmanMA requires your pet to be vaccinated for rabies and they need proof each year. I called this location to fix the rabies certificate since it’s supposed say 3 year Instead of 1 year. They said it’s something they need for their manager to do then they’ll send the updated one. I waited and called a week later, still nothing. It’s been 3 weeks since I ask for it to be fixed. It’s something that would take less than 5 minutes to fix. I can’t keep calling every week for this. Im just gonna take my dogs to a different place next time, to avoid this headache.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my first visit to the hospital. The veterinarians were incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, clearly showing their love for their job. The technicians and assistants were highly skilled and treated my feline companion, Dutchess, with great care and affection. After discovering this facility that met all our needs, I see no reason to go anywhere else. It’s definitely my go-to place from now on.

My lil old lady pup wasnt feeling well, they got me right in and took such good care of her.Walking in meeting and Joe started the great experience! He assisted me with clearing up my pups vaccine record that was not able to be reconciled correctly previously, a tremendous help!Kaylyn was wonderful! She assisted us in the room and her friendly & calm demeanor put us at ease and she kept us informed throughout the appointment.Dr. Ash was happy to explain what was going on and answer all my many questions thoroughly.I'll definitely continue to go to this location! (one tip, be sure to know if its the hospital based there or the clinic which visits and uses the space on certain days)
September 10 · Bethann MonegroMy current vet didn’t have any openings and my newly adopted cat had an ear infection. Went to Vetco since they had openings. The entire time you’re there you’re asked to sign off on “estimates” of service - before your even seen. Not sure how you can estimate a treatment plan before you even meet the animal. Then during the exam my cat was brought to the back room- I have never been to a vets office that separates your pet from you during a simple exam. Then was given more “estimates”. They gave me an $80 medication for the ear that is not FDA approved for cats. It didn’t work. Had to go to a second vet as the ear infection kept returning and then spread to the other ear. He was extremely confused as to why she was given that medication. Obviously it didn’t work. Was given an attitude when I explained this to the manager. The vet said my new vet could call him if he had questions. There’s no questions! She’s much better now after being treated with the correct medication by the 2nd vet. Id avoid unless you enjoy shelling out money twice with no empathy for the situation.
August 08 · Alexandra kasetaKaylyn and Dr. Carlson made my day. I came in the day before with my dog and he was so worked up that they were not able to provide him with the vaccinations. I came back the next day (today) and suggested some changes. Kaylyn was very receptive to the changes and even let me be in the room. The experience was great and my dog was able to get his vaccines with no issues. Highly recommend those two and I’ll be back new year when my dog’s vaccines expire.
August 02 · Ariel HurtsI brought my cat in for her first appointment and was told she was completely healthy and they had checked her mouth and it looked great, nothing abnormal, no high temperature. She received her rabies vaccine. She almost died that night. She was rushed to the veterinary ER because she could not breathe or eat- she had extreme ulcers throughout her mouth and a high temperature. She had a 103° fever when she was given her rabies vaccine, which made her white blood cell count skyrocket and her tongue swell out of her mouth. The negligence of this veterinary practice could have very well led to my cat's death had I not noticed her symptoms. When I called to inform them of this, calmly, not rudely, I was told to "have a nice day." Needless to say, will not be returning. Disappointing, as I had taken another cat here in the past and had no issues- glad he turned out okay.

Everyone seems more professional and caring. I feel comfortable bringing my very senior cat to Vetco for her care.

The hospital is not only clean, but it’s also beautifully decorated—bright, colorful, and super welcoming. It really feels like a place that loves both pets and people. I can’t wait to add photos of my own pets to the Wall of Fame! The team here is warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for quality care in a happy, inviting space!

I received a call to get more information about my cat Chai and what she was experiencing. I was asked to send medical records which I did. Everything was prompt. Once we arrived, we were courteously greeted. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The manager and Doctor were knowledgeable and considerate of the situation. I was given many options for care and treatment. The doctor was immediately able to determine the cause of Chai’s illness. We collaboratively decided on a plan. I’m happy to say that a few days later Chai was running around, but unfortunately still not eating just drinking water. A few days after that, she started eating again. I would highly recommend VETCO Dedham.
March 01 · Grace ClaiborneRegrettably I have to give 3 stars which could easily improve if the checkout staff learn to organize themselves with paperwork. The initial visit was for a such appointment and paperwork established my car is 7 years old. The intake staff person struggled with how to code the visit so when we tried checking out; it took nearly 90 minutes. There checkout staff kept canceling out the work order and redoing it, because they kept making euros on the bundle package; this happened 4 times. I spent just over $760 which included sick visit, vaccinations, dewormer, blood work, antibiotics and pain medication; it required follow-up visit for 2nd feline leukemia, dewormer and distemper. He was to return for these yet when he returned. I neglected to check the paperwork but given the circumstances, I rushed out the door based on aggravation with the lack of ability for staff to handle paperwork. When my daughter returned, they indicated that she had to pay for 2nd feline leukemia and that he got the distemper. When paperwork was reviewed, they placed my adult car into kitten plan and the staff person marked that my cat got distemper. My cat could be given the distemper based on being sick. I refused to pay fees, because I requested the bundle. I didn't code him KITTEN.Full disclosure, the doctor and the nurse were professional and did their due diligence; a doctor is only as good as the staff that supports them. I felt staff was still learning their job, so I'll be kind of they were training, but the paperwork was a MESS. The documentation has to be correct when dealing with vaccination records. The staff marked the distemper vaccine, yet the doctor stated that it will be administered when the car recovers from whatever was making him such. He did get his rabies shot.Advice.... Check paperwork thoroughly before leaving, even if it irritating to other patrons. I just took the papers and left because other customers were getting irritated with how long the checkout was. Mine wasn't an isolated situation with the long checkout process.In addition, patronswith ere struggling with check-in; customer ID couldn't be going on the computers whether with cellphone or email provided. My check-in was slightly easier as I was the first customer to check-in and I did pre check-in.

June 20 · Matt FlahertyI give this place 0 stars. Please do not take your pets here. I brought my dog here for a teeth cleaning service. Dropped her off at 8am and she was not seen until after 5pm. When I showed up to supposedly pick her up, l I was told they were running behind and had not started the cleaning on my dog but she was "happy" in her crate. Are you telling me that my dog is going to be happy after not eating or drinking water after 10+ hours??? (We are asked to not feed our pet past 12am the previous night) . My dog was supposedly "ready" to go home at about 7pm which I was really surprised because they usually monitor pets for a few hours before they go home. Thank God my pup recovered well, but everything felt so unprofessional.Before all this, we had been a customer for about 3 years. Such a horrible experience and I will never be bringing me pet back to this facility. Worst experience ever.
August 08 · Grace SantosI have to share similar bad experiences. I have been trying to call and use the text message system which no one gets back to you for days. I have been told they have had technical difficulties and there are no appts. I think they just don’t want me to come back because I voiced concern. I had a vet (she left) Vetco recently they didn’t taper my dog off of prednisone he got a burst ear drum. I switched back to another location. Took the only sick visit for 8 am. Now my dog has ear infections. Sat and waited until 9:45 before we were seen. I hesitate to leave bad messages and I never do it but I asked for a call from the manager and since I have been not answered I must share my bad experience. I did not have a bad experience with the vet in Dedham this week at all but of course I liked her and now she is retiring. I reached a point where I am very upset. I paid for the vital care for the year and can’t even get in. Maybe this review will get someone to call me back. Working thru the glitches is one thing but poor customer service is not acceptable today. These are our children our fur babies. When they are sick and you can’t get anyone to give advice is the worst. Or yet bet told go to the emergency vet when I paid for vital care and it was middle of the week and they tell me there are no appts. I do apologize for the negative review. I didn’t want to do it.

June 28 · Louis MI absolutely love their staff. They took such good care of Ziggy and they showed him so much love in a time of distress for both of us. Surgery went well and when the bandages came off the next day I called them up and they saw me the same day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of him.

August 15 · Kayla MitchellI was told one price in the room with the vet tech, then more at the register. I get out of the visit and get a phone call that they never charged me for the fecal sample to be done on my cat. So I have to travel 46 mins again with cat poop to drop off and pay another 68 bucks for that. They will give a 20% discount for the mishap. Then I get home and open up the prescriptions and 2 of the medications are labeled with the same medication label and directives. So now I do not know how many times and how many hrs apart and how many days for this one medication. Not thrilled today. 2nd visit ever.

Office hours start 8:30 and phone number forwarded to urgent care who had no idea what was going on. Also the sign said temporarily closed until today. Didn’t have high expectations of Petco vet but this is even worse than thought.
June 10 · Jinny LDr. Winkler and staff at Vetco in Kingston NY are amazing. They get right down on the floor with your fur babies and make them feel very comfortable. Our pups get great care when they go. Dr. Winkler and staff are very knowledgeable, and answer questions effectively. We do not hesitate to refer people there for their fur babies. We're very happy that we found a very affordable and knowledgeable vet.

The contrast was night and day. September 04 · Nancy DunnI didn’t have a service here but I brought my puppy in to get a toy. We’ve been leash training him and he has been doing so well so I wanted to bring him to get him a treat. He’s only 6 months old and it was his first time going into a store. (We had just came from a walk and he had 2 BMs). Well because it was his first time and he was nervous he had diarrhea in the floor. It was only a little bit at first so I asked the Vetco workers if there were paper towels/cleaning stuff. One worker showed me where it was. I started cleaning it (while still holding him on the leash which was difficult) but he had more diarrhea. After like the fifth time of getting more paper towels I asked the Vetco workers if they could just hold the leash. They all looked at me and no one answered. They weren’t with another customer/patient, they were just talking to each other and talking poorly about me about how “I should just take him outside” etc. like they’ve never had a dog have an accident in there before. I know he’s big but he’s still a baby and it was his first time. And sorry I wanted to clean up the mess before I left. It would have gone by faster if they could have just helped me for 2 minutes instead of talking s*** about me. I will never bring my dog back in there ever again because of them. The retail people were so much nicer and a nice couple actually ended up helping me instead.

I used to take my dogs to a vet and they would always try to convince me that he needed this blood work or she needed this and it would end up costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars this clinic will let you know if you needed it or not and if you opt out for not getting it, they won’t give it to you without question they’re absolutely wonderful. I love them all I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

April 17 · Jules VidroDr pandolpho exploited me because I was worried sick about my cat crying out in pain when she was trying to eat and eventually just refusing food. She recommended so many unnecessary things and I ended up with a $700 bill and no answers. I brought my cat to another vet a week later and they quickly diagnosed the problem simply by looking in her mouth. I would not recommend this vet to anyone especially if dr pandolpho is there.

March 21 · Ernabelle BuhaweBunches of tests ordered/ recommended yet my animal never even seen the vet. They take her back to go get an x-ray when I finally said I'm not comfortable with this. I have never been anywhere a vet doesn't examine my animal before testing is done, I was ignorantly informed, he read her report we like to keep things rolling. At which point my cat was brought back out because apparently yes they did want to see her?? I got the hell out of there. No thank you.

He immediately impressed me by getting down on the floor to connect with my dog, patiently fostering trust. I appreciated being involved in developing the treatment plan, and the open line of communication for updates and concerns (via text and phone) was incredibly helpful. The entire staff, including the kind vet tech and the very helpful manager, were all fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend this office!

Vet came in for 5 minutes, was nasty & condescending & just quickly said that my 12 year old dog needs all his teeth pulled without explaining at all, I've brought my dog to vet every year for checkups & I have never been told that, including last year also at Petco! After saying that, she left the room & didn't come back. Weirdest vet appt ever. And, her personality was not that of a vet who should understand that saying something to me @ my dog like that with no explanation is absurd. That nasty thing should not be "caring" for animals, as she did not seem caring towards my dog during 5 minute exam or about what she just had told me, his owner without even explaining! Worst vet visit ever in 3 dogs spanning over 30 years!

The tech was very good at handling my very shy girl, the vet was really nice and she took care of a waiver for my dogs insurance even when I was already late. June 25 · Gabriela CNot a positive experience. Front desk lady isn’t well equipped for her job — however she is nice. Vet tech didn’t seem experienced with handling my cat. All the vets I’ve been to always mention how sweet she is but this time she wasn’t too happy with them at this location. I trust my cat’s instincts so I won’t be returning. I recommend the Dedham or Mansfield location instead! Super caring and not money grabbers.

She really went above and beyond and helped me get a next day appointment. We went in and got the exam done with Kaitlyn, who was also very professional and friendly. July 22 · aysia andrewsI’ve been bringing my dog Onyx to Vetco in Cherry Hill for a while now, and every visit has been consistently excellent. The staff is always friendly, professional, and so good with Onyx. They make the whole process easy and stress-free, and I really appreciate how much they care about the animals they see. The vet takes the time to answer any questions I have and never makes us feel rushed. Onyx is always in good hands here. July 16 · Roberto MercadoWe had to get our Lulu’s booster shot. The appointment was easy, early morning. I’m appreciating the support staff there. Always kind, keeps my dog chill. We were in and out quickly, but the vet answered our questions and again the staff kept everything smooth and easy. Happy to have made the change over to Petco!
July 31 · Regina RobinsonI had such a great experience at Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital. I brought my dog, Genesis, in for vaccines and from start to finish everyone was wonderful. The front desk staff, Maria, was so kind and welcoming. The technician Nick was very informative and walked me through everything with patience and detail. Dr. Leslye D’Ingianni took such great care of Gen! She was caring, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable with each step. They gave my dog so much love and attention, which really stood out to me. I truly appreciate the entire team’s kindness and professionalism, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
August 18 · Christine AlliI take all of my cats to Petco Vetco for the last 18 months. Dr. Anderson and previously Dr. Bersch are consistently so kind, caring and patient. Which I’m sure is difficult on the daily. They have great reccomemdations and they are always willing to talk you through things. They genuinely love what they do. The team of techs who work here are also so nice and caring! Thank you Maria at the front desk and Nick, Rob and Alyssa for always bringing your calming energy into the room. Also, Petco total premier is an excellent program with so much value!

June 25 · EdThe best place!!We’ve brought all three of our pets here and they have been wonderful!! Beyond normal vet appointments we have now had a dental procedure that was amazing price wise, and outcome wise. They have recommended wonderful things for our dogs and cat and have been thrilled. Cannot say good enough thing!

My dog absolutely LOVES Kim (as do I )she is always the highlight of his visit. Thank you Kim for always going above and beyond for my boy Jack, we appreciate you!!
August 03 · Nicole PelosiI can’t say enough good things about Kim at Vetco! She’s incredibly attentive, helpful, and always goes above and beyond. During a tough time when my pup Marshmellow was having repeated allergy-related emergencies, Kim helped get us in quickly and made the process so much easier. She’s consistently understanding, caring, and efficient—especially with prescription refills, which she turns around in no time.It’s clear that she genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. My dogs absolutely adore her—they literally pull me into the vet clinic just to say hi when we’re there for grooming. I truly appreciate everything she does. Vetco is lucky to have her, and so are we!
July 08 · Danielly GonzagaSo, I wanted to leave a review for the Vetco Animal hospital. I will say I was hesitant going to location since they had ties with Petco and my vet didn't have any urgent care appointments. This was a total they were doing with having vet appointments on the weekends especially around the holiday.From the time my dog and I walked in we were greeted very nice and warming. When we entered the room it was spotless and very well maintained and clean. once again the staff/techs were amazing and made me feel comfortable after dealing with my dog not doing well. They did everything they could to make my dogs stay comfortable and ease my anxiety. From laying with him, comforting him which was so warming. They also made me aware of a treatment plan and every time they had to update it before proceeding. This was something I liked so I wasn't blindsided with a price. The doctor also was very detailed and explaining everything that was going on.I was there for about 2.5 hours on Sunday before Labor Day and not once did I feel rushed and answered everything I had to ask.So in closing I want to thank you all for everything you did for Max. Today (Monday) he seems to be bouncing back little by little.
September 01 · jay hammondVet technician and vet were absolutely amazing. Front desk employee not so much. Instead of apologizing and calling me to tell me they were running 40 min. behind, she shamed me then for being 10 min. early. Never has anyone ever gotten upset for someone coming early to an appointment. Customer service is her job and she is first impression, and not a good one. I would give 5 stars for the vet tech. And vet that assisted us. Very thorough and caring with excellent communication.
September 09 · April LeisterI am very disappointment in the "care" we received at this clinic. Drove over and hour to be seen there after multiple phone calls to confirm the appointment; upon arriving, waited in a room for over 15 minutes without anyone talking to us only for the vet tech to try to tell us our stray cat couldn't get the shots we were told she would be able to get due to her age (unsure why we were told something different at first and if something changed, would've thought they would call us before we drove all the way for our appointment). Come to find out, after taking her to a more competent vet, she was over half the age they said she was! They guessed 7 weeks even though she weighed almost 4lbs. This error along with other evidence of negligence caused me and my family so much distress - we had to keep the kitten separated from our other cats for over a month longer than we actually had to and ended up having to deal with fleas and mites all because this "doctor" did not do his due diligence and check her fur, told us the incorrect frequency for medications leading to prolonged issues, and inability to accurately estimate age -- didn't even check her teeth at all, which we now know is common practice as well as judging age by weight. We trusted that they knew what they were doing and boy were we wrong. Avoid them at all costs.

June 29 · Kara AlfonseMy fiancé and I brought in a stray cat that we rescued and it was such a lovely experience.From the woman at the desk, to Laura the tech and Dr Mundem. (Hopefully I have spelling correct) this crew was full of wonderful energy and truly all around helpful in any and all aspects. They had answers for all of our questions,and even had some great suggestions.10/10 recommend.We will be going back for any needs our fur babies have!
