It's kind of a 50-50 thing. Not quite sure why that is. Maybe they are not acclimating them correctly? The workers are pretty nice. They are pretty helpful. As usual, like most places, they could always use more people on the floor. But it's all right. Prices are pretty fair.

Trust me, you won’t regret it.Let me explain. Our dog, due to declining health, needed to be put down. We scheduled the appointment with Petco over four weeks in advance. Just a few days before the scheduled date, we received a call stating they had run out of the medication required for the procedure and needed to reschedule. Heartbreaking, but we understood—and we did.Fast forward to the new appointment. Our time was set for 3:30 PM. After spending the day creating final memories with our pup and preparing our family to say goodbye, we were loading into the car when the phone rang—just 30 minutes before our scheduled time.It was Petco again. This time, they told us their freezer had been down for several days, and they were hoping it would be fixed but unfortunately would need to reschedule again.To say we were shocked is an understatement. This isn’t a grooming appointment or a routine check-up. This was a deeply emotional and final moment for our family. The lack of foresight, empathy, and professionalism was staggering. Not once, but twice, we were forced to reschedule our pet’s euthanasia due to internal issues that could have and should have been communicated far earlier.Fortunately, a single phone call to the competition just up the street restored our faith. They took us in immediately, treated our family with compassion, and handled the situation with the respect and care it deserved.To Petco: this was more than a missed appointment. It was a failure in compassion, communication, and basic human decency. You need to do better. A lot better.We will never return to this location.
