★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was looking for refrigerated dog food and a super nice person helped me locate the brand I was looking for. He was super helpful and asked if I needed any other assistance. His great customer service skills are appreciated and I hope he will go far in his career whatever he aspires to. The world needs more hard working great employees.I paid regular price for everything, but your location was convenient for me to shop at.
July 24 · Kathy LeeClean, friendly and very attentive. I live in Portland and drive to this location now just because of my good experience. Not a big chain supporter.. but the women who work here rock! Thank you for my awesome new finned friends 🐠
March 10 · Taylor WhiddenThe worst grooming experience we could have ever had. The groomer shaved off a part of our dogs ear, we had to take him to the vet after getting groomed at PetCo and he had to get stitches. What was supposed to be a simple pick up and drop off ended in a nightmare. The haircut was choppy and uneven looked like it was someone who had never groomed a dog a day in their life. On top of everything they tried to conceal at pick up that they had injured our dog. They waited for the bleeding to stop to text us to pick him up, sent me a text that they are running behind schedule. I picked him up paid $100+ without them addressing what they did, I even asked how it went and they said he did great. When I put him down in my car I noticed blood on my car seat and realized his ear was bleeding. It wasn’t until I called the store and confronted them that they told me what happened, the manager said the groomer told her the bleeding had stopped as if that was enough of an excuse not to tell us. Our dog is part of our family, we left him to get groomed trusting he would be safe not get traumatized at a company as big as PetCo. The way it was handled is completely unacceptable, and they need to train their staff before putting them to work.
July 24 · azra tarakcijaI honestly hate leaving such a bad review.. but my dog came home after 5 hours with a terrible haircut. We provided the groomer with a previous post-groom photo that we really liked. She asked me to pick from 3 stock photos Petco uses for a length we liked, and there was another similar breed being groomed at the time of our drop off that we pointed out was too short for our liking. She’s been groomed elsewhere (the previous place is too far from home) and she’s always gotten a really good report card, so I thought everything would be alright. The woman even told me that she was exceptionally behaved for an 8-month old puppy. We dropped her off at 10:55am and she wasn’t ready until 4:00pm (normally her grooms are 1.5-2 hours). Her haircut is extremely short, as short as it can possibly be and it’s very uneven. She has chunks of longer hair on her back and it’s really choppy and uneven on her belly. Absolutely not what we asked for.I will state that they called and reported that she had a mat on her front leg that was worse than they had originally assessed, and they might need to cut it shorter. I responded with yes, that’s fine, whatever you need to do to make her healthy and happy. She called back to tell us she was ready for pick up, and that she was able to get the mats out without cutting too short. So we were extremely shocked when picking her up.We’re easy owners so this is fine, it’s just hair and it’ll grow back. But I can’t let someone else go here without knowing the consequences. I don’t have a photo of her groom today, it was honestly so shocking for us, but I’ll update the post with before, what we wanted, and what we got photos.I’ve been a customer for 10+ years for toys, food, treat, but we will absolutely not be returning for grooming services, nor recommending anyone here. I also won’t be looking into any veterinary services if grooming is so bad.
March 30 · Samantha RoughNice store parking can be a little hard with so many people coming in and out. What's inside the store it's a bit of a smaller footprint than I'm used to in other petco's. This area is super busy and more dogs inside than people. I mean way more than you ever see in one store typically. The staff seems friendly and the line seems to move relatively fast. So a good addition for this area.
