Instead of calmly addressing the situation, the staff (Brian) and manager (Zach) treated me rudely and with zero tact — as if I were guilty from the start.No apology, no courtesy, just attitude. This is not how you treat a customer — especially over something so minor and easily clarified. Even after I immediately started emptying everything out of my pockets turning them inside out in complete shock (since I knew I did nothing wrong). The lack of respect and basic decency was disappointing, but not surprising at this store. I will not be returning to this location and hope they consider retraining/replacing their problematic staff on how to handle situations with professionalism and dignity.Not only was I publicly embarrassed at the register, but the staff doubled down with attitude instead of apologizing. I pay a monthly membership at Petco and I expect to be treated better than this. Might want to work on your people skills and rethink your approach.
July 22 · Marie McHughI signed up for Petco Rewards. They charge 26.55 a month for limited rewards. I called several times to cancels it. The first call took thirty minutes to get my issue resolved. Next month I’m charged again. On the phone the reps have no idea why I’m being charged and how I’m still being charged but they’re also powerless to remove the most recent charges. Please use caution sign up for this scam. Over a hour on the phone with no action, but a promise to look into it.

The doctor looked annoyed at my girlfriend’s questions about her dog too. Which made no sense.
