April 08 · Saleemah SpenceI am very upset so Feb 9 I purchased 12 fish 2 frogs and a black snail ,,, it was a sale buy 3 get 1 free tetras ,, so once I got them home I let them adjust in there bags in the tank for about 30mins then release them into the tank things were going great until February 15 my fish seem to go to the bottom of the tank and had white stuff on them at this time I didn’t know what it was.. So the following day one of my angel fish and 2 of my sword fish were fighting for there life then passed ,,, I then seen some of my plates had the white stuff on them also, so I decided to call Petco this location where I got it from and explain what was going on and ask was anything wrong with there fish ? I was told no but even if it was they would’ve died that fast which isn’t true , any fish not treated when sick can die in a few days ,,,. So the following Tuesday I went to talk to manager and I end up talking to the man who I spoke with on the phone … So as I went to the tank where I purchased the fish from there was a sign saying they were up under quantity , so I asked him how long have they been quarantine for, and he responded 3 to 4 weeks now Remind you, I just got them the week before last and there were no signs I have a video ,,, so I Purchased some more fish that Weren’t in the quant tank to make up for the fish that passed because they Wouldn’t give me a refund because I didn’t bring dead fish, but I had pictures but I guess that wasn’t good enough. So The following day I woke up to my fish flipped upside down with ick all over them, which means my fish by sick Fish and I didn’t find out until that Tuesday because there was no sign prior week when I purchased,,, . So I spoke with General manager he was a asshole. He said I was lying. The signs been up for the last four weeks told him I had proof in the video he told me to get a lawyer corporate because he will no longer service me so that’s what I did. Here you will see pictures of my tank before I purchase the fish and my tank tarter purchased the contaminated fish. Before I got these fish, I had 46 fish three algae eaters a Plaint Fish and four frogs now I have 14 fish and two frogs, and I have proof there were no signs on tank in video I couldn’t post but did screenshot and proof that someone I know went through the same thing with this store ,,,, my fish were special to me because my brother got them for me in October and his passed in September I am very up set

Every single associate who helped us, from Keon, to Onyx to the manager on duty, were so helpful and friendly. They even helped us when we had to do a return, without any problems or questions.In a day and age when it’s hard to find good customer service and employees who actually enjoy their jobs, this place is a true gem. I highly recommend it for your pet supplies and support. Whoever is the hiring manager is doing a wonderful job. Thank you!!
August 24 · Pauline L.I visited this store around 4:50 pm and had a very disappointing experience. Keon was standing at the front of the store doing nothing when I asked him for the pinkies. He repeated what I said, then motioned me toward the refrigerator (which was very messy) and told me he would be over in a minute. Instead of assisting me, he immediately began waiting on another customer who had just walked up, ignoring the fact that I was already waiting. When I spoke up, he told me, “Well, there’s a lot of people waiting on me,” which was not true since no one was ahead of me. His attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely rude, and because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. A customer offered to help me look, he didnt even bother.
