★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I witnessed a dog get hit by a car and rushed it to this clinic, hoping they'd show some compassion and get the poor animal the help it needed. I wasn't the owner, just someone trying to do the right thing. What I got instead was harassment, threats, and cold indifference.Rather than focusing on the injured dog, the staff immediately tried to pin financial responsibility on me. When I clarified that I wasn't the owner and was only acting as a Good Samaritan, they began implying that I was "abandoning" the dog, an accusation that was completely inappropriate. They continued to threaten reporting me and avoid care for the dog by putting the responsibility on me to find another clinic or call animal service. Mind you, this dog got hit by a car minutes ago, is bleeding out of her mouth, and laying on the floor.I ultimately had to tell them, "I brought this dog here to get help, what happens now is on you." I left heartbroken and disgusted, not just by the accident, but by how this clinic treated someone who was only trying to help. The way I was treated was uncalled for and left me questioning whether the dog would even be helped at all.It didn't stop there. One of the vet techs followed me outside and took photos of my car without my permission, as if I were a criminal. The whole experience was invasive, hostile, and completely unacceptable.I've never been so disgusted. A vet clinic that tries to dodge responsibility and interrogate someone trying to help an animal shouldn't be in business. If this is how they treat good Samaritans, imagine how they treat your pet when you're not looking. My only regret was not videotaping this experience to show the conduct of the staff and this facility of this particular incident.Absolutely shameful.
August 21 · Hero GauiranWe visited Arlington Pet Hospital on February 9th at around 10:00 AM, and it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had with a veterinary clinic. Not only did they fail to treat our cat’s life-threatening condition with the urgency it required, but it also felt like they were just trying to exploit us financially during an already devastating time. When we arrived, the front desk staff was polite and checked us in quickly, but that was the only positive part of the experience. The doctor actually cared—she understood the severity of the situation because she had been through the same thing with her own pet. But as soon as she walked out, a nurse came in and treated it like it was just another routine case, completely ignoring the urgency. Then came the staggering bill—they wanted to charge us $6,000 to save our cat. We asked the nurse if we could remove certain things to lower the cost, and they immediately refused without even considering any options. After that nurse left, we sat there for 30 minutes, trying to figure out what to do.Then a new nurse came in, and we had more questions. We mentioned that the first nurse told us the cost would probably be cheaper once everything was done and that we’d get money back—but the new nurse shut that down immediately, saying that was absolutely not true. So not only were they cold and unhelpful, but we were also lied to.Completely heartbroken and frustrated, we left and went to SoCal Animal Hospital—less than a mile away. The difference was night and day. They treated our cat’s condition with the urgency it deserved and worked with us instead of against us. And instead of $6,000, they charged us only $1,800.Arlington Pet Hospital didn’t just fail us—they made an already traumatic situation even worse by showing zero compassion, refusing to work with us, and misleading us. If you love your pet and want honest, ethical, and compassionate care, go somewhere else.
February 09 · nCclayI came here late one night in a panic because my dog was choking on a bone. We had tried everything at home, including CPR, but nothing was working. I had just moved here from Orange County, where my pets have a regular vet, but there was no way we could make the long drive without risking my dog’s life.I rushed in with my two boys and explained the emergency to the receptionist, pleading for them to take my dog back immediately before he passed out. To my shock, the receptionist coldly responded, “I’m sorry, but you need to fill out paperwork and pay a $1,500 deposit first.” I was stunned. Not even the best veterinarians in Orange County demand such a high upfront payment. But at that moment, I didn’t care—I handed over my credit card and told her to charge it. Again, she refused, insisting that I first complete all the paperwork before they would even take my dog in. I turned to look at my little Shih Tzu—he was barely hanging on, completely drained of energy, and still unable to breathe. My teenage boys were in tears, panicking. I had no choice but to speed through the paperwork as fast as humanly possible. Finally, they took my dog inside. I specifically told the receptionist that no procedures should be done without my approval. While waiting, I saw another heartbreaking situation—a couple rushed in with their small dog who had been hit by a car, its eye popped out. Unbelievably, the receptionist gave them the same treatment, demanding the $1,500 deposit before offering any help. I watched as they struggled to figure out how to come up with the money, and my heart broke for them. This clinic is absolutely disgusting, heartless, and driven by greed. I came here because I had no other option, and it was the first emergency vet that popped up in my navigation. I can’t stop thinking about what happens to people who can’t afford their outrageous deposit. Do they just let their pets die? After 15 minutes, they called me into a room to inform me that my dog needed several medications. They had also done X-rays and placed an IV catheter without my consent, despite my clear instructions. In the end, I was handed a bill for over $500—for just 15 minutes of their time. This place acts like they’re in Hollywood, charging ridiculous prices while showing zero compassion. Never again will I set foot in this clinic. If you love your pet, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere—you’ll regret coming here.
February 03 · G. V.This place is Garbage 🗑 Please don't waste your time coming here. Look at the ratings. They will charge you for Every little thing. Also they don't show you any sympathy for you or your dying animal. They rather make money from you knowing your hurting inside or your dying animal. They also don't know what they are doing, Once the doctor leaves and talked to you about your pet, a Representative will come inside the Room with you to give you an invoice of the amount it will cost you to hopefully cure your pet, You read whats going on and they won't add the right medicine for your pet. Once your in the lobby getting ready to leave. The front desk lady will say the doctor added an Extra medicine for the pe and you are forcefully to pay the invoice. Also the lobby seating so uncomfortable. My cat was dehydrated and they did not provide any B12 or any Electrolytes. I was just sent home with Ivy, Oral antibiotics, and Amicilli..... my cat passed away 12/13/2024 GO TO 24 HOUR IN corona.. i could of save my cat if I would came here ...I shared this story with them.
