August 25 · JustinaDr. Ramsey is amazing! I trusted her expertise with my dog’s health for many years. After 16 wonderful years with my dog, it was time to say goodbye. It was truly one of the worst days of my life. She was my everything! When it came time to put my Maltese down, Dr. Ramsey, walked me through my options and reminded me that my dog had a long happy and healthy life. Before preforming any procedures, Dr. Ramsey explained everything in plenty of detail. Then, when I decided to put my dog down, Dr. Ramsey stayed with me the entire time. I am so very grateful for her support during a difficult time. Two weeks later, I received my dog’s paw prints and a condolence card signed by everyone in the office. It was a sweet of them to go the extra mile. All in all, I strongly recommend Dr. Ramsey. If/when I get another dog, I will reach out to Dr. Ramsey again!
November 19 · Alexandra TeicholzI have to say we had an amazing time experience yesterday. The staff could not be any nicer/ our kitty peed and threw up en route. The vet tech took him and cleaned him and our carrier up. They were patient and very nice. The Vet did a great job with our cats. I think new patients will be very happy with this practice. We have three cats and three dogs and we take them all there/
October 30 · Kim SoderbergI chose this vet as I live less than a mile away. Just took my new puppy in for her first visit yesterday. Easy to schedule, easy to send previous records via email, got me in next day and they have late appts at 7pm which is great for my schedule. Low key, friendly staff, got me in and out quickly and had lots of options for payment without being pushy. Even provided a free month of tick treatment! Good honest evidence-based medical advice from vet. I enrolled in their care club for the year which provided peace of mind about costs - there are lots of vaccines and spay to pay for with a new puppy - it’s expensive but necessary - and I appreciated having the option of paying a low monthly payment spread across the year and knowing everything she needs will be covered. So far I’m very happy with VCA.
May 25 · Stephanie TatoianVery overwhelmed by the last visit. My puppy was scheduled for vaccinations(distemper and leptospirosis). The doctor and vet tech examined the dog, did the vaccines and that was it. I end up with a bill for $216 ( 2 vaccines at $62 and $92 for the physical exam!!!). As far as I know the doctor is required to take a temperature and do a mucosal, eye, etc. exam before vaccinating and it took maybe 3 min. Of course I refused to pay for it at the cash register because it is pure robbery! The receptionist said that the doctor did a consultation but it was not true. I was offered post vaccine questions and asked if I should feed him 4 times a day until he was three months old or switch to 3 times. To which I received no specific information, this was not a professional opinion, if the doctor thought this was a consultation she could charge $90+ for, she should be very ashamed. The doctor never went to the front desk to explain the situation. I assume this is a typical VCA scam scheme, no one argued with me on the reception, I left after paying for my vaccines and won't be back. Also the vets never told me that my puppy is a cryptorchid. What kind of professionalism is that?
