★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dog Marshall always receives the best of care at his home away from home, the Newton Veterinary Hospital whenever I need to keep him somewhere away from home.He normally suffers from separation anxiety, but when he is there he does just fine because of all of the love and affection that he receives. I ha have gotten to the point of scheduling anything around their availability because I don’t want to take him anywhere else that’s how much they mean to me.
August 23 · Gerri Lynn SnyderVisited just after 2 PM and remained in the waiting area for nearly three hours without any updates or communication from staff. The cleanliness of the facility also appeared to be lacking—there was visible dust, pet hair throughout the space, an overfilled sharps container, and the restroom clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a whileThe one positive aspect of the visit was that the doctor was extremely kind and professional, which we genuinely appreciated.
May 25 · Nick SiscoMy fiancée and I came here last Wednesday when our dog's (Bubbles) sutures from his Gastropexy surgery came undone. When we got there the staff was super friendly and quick to bring our dog in the back to do an exam.Doctor Sydney Stotler took her time to explain everything that was going on with Bubbles, what needed to done, and the seriousness/possible complications of what was going on with Bubbles. She was very empathetic and compassionate. The ladies at the front desk were also empathetic and compassionate. They also took the time to explain the different payment options with us and helped us figure out what was best.Multiple technicians and doctors updated us during Bubbles's surgery to let us know everything went well. After the surgery, Doctor Sydney explained everything she found during surgery and what the next steps were. We were able to see Bubbles after surgery and all the staff was super friendly and compassionate.Bubbles had to stay for 48 hours to watch for sepsis. We were given updates about 4-5 times a day about Bubbles. Everyone was kind and patient when answering our questions and concerns. All the doctors were absolutely amazing as well as all the staff. I would like to give a huge shout out to and thank you Doctor Sydney. She was one of the best vets I have ever met.I would recommend anyone to come here when they have a pet emergency or are looking for a regular vet. We will be switching here for our regular vet!
May 27 · Kayla ThiessenSat in a cold exam room on a hard wooden bench for three hours with our very sick dog to finally have someone come in and say the wait to do x-rays would be another hour. We were told she was stable, breathing fine, and the results of the ultrasound they did in triage were fine. We were advised that we could safely bring her home. She never even saw an actual vet.We called the next day for a copy of the ultrasound report to provide to our vet, and they had no record of it. Our regular vet did another ultrasound which led to a visit to another animal hospital. Our sweet girl had to be put to sleep that night. Thanks for absolutely nothing. I'd never recommend this place to anyone. They are severely understaffed and clearly can't identify a dog in distress.
September 02 · C SOur dog had something stuck in the roof of his mouth which turned out to be a thin flat piece of bone. We brought him in after hours for emergency intervention. The staff was wonderful, kind, friendly, caring and very efficient. The vet tech (I didn’t get her name) who removed the bone was fantastic!! Thank you again!! We were in and out within minutes. Would highly recommend them and will definitely return should another emergency arise.
