It is important for potential clients to consider all available information, including a diverse range of customer experiences. While some clients, like the one who praised Dr. Singh for his care of an elderly dog, highlight the compassionate and fair service, others have raised serious concerns. One detailed review alleges a failure to properly diagnose a critical condition (IVDD), a delay in recommending necessary diagnostics like an x-ray, and a lack of clear communication. This review, which mentions a discrepancy between the doctor’s notes and the owner's experience, suggests that clients should be proactive in discussing all aspects of their pet's condition and ensuring they understand the treatment plan and its potential alternatives.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Singh has been taking care of my dog who is 18 years old and my cat who's 19 years old. I just recently had to put my dog down going over to the Rainbow Bridge. He made such a sad experience one that left me with a peaceful feeling knowing that she was in such great hands. He's so loving and caring with the animals. He's always very fair with prices I highly recommend Dr. Singh and his staff .🐶❤️
August 20 · Heather JungclausPlease consider our reviews when deciding to take your pet here. We stayed with Singh because we trusted him for basic care. But during Snowball’s most critical time, he was dismissive, careless, and ultimately dishonest. Please look at Abigail's review and Singh's dishonest response to Abigail.Snowball was never unkempt and he's always been nervous at the vet. We brought him in for a limp, not a nail issue. Singh never even mentioned the limp in his notes and jumped straight to diagnosing an infection. This was never about money. What he needed was an x-ray, which Singh didn’t push for until the third visit. We paid for meds, bloodwork, and the x-ray [and the neurologist consult and the emergency visit]. Singh initially told us it was arthritis and Snowball was being “dramatic.”"Everything was explained and also texted many times to your different family members."This is a lie. Nothing was clearly explained to us via text regarding his potential IVDD or how severe this disease is.We came back because your initial diagnosis and treatment didn’t help. When Snowball started dragging his legs—a red flag for IVDD—you still prioritized bloodwork over imaging. Why didn’t you suspect IVDD sooner? A limp progressing to paralysis calls for an x-ray. You're the doctor—why didn’t you investigate further?"We explained the severity and spinal concerns many times. You delayed going to a specialist and refused treatment at MASH on May 12."That is categorically false. On May 6, during the third visit, you finally mentioned IVDD. But we had already taken Snowball to the emergency vet the night before, who told us he had no DPS (deep pain sensation)—a critical and time-sensitive sign of late-stage IVDD. We learned that from emergency care, not from you.I booked the soonest possible neuro consult at MASH for May 9th. The neurologist confirmed it was too late for surgery [5% chance of regaining sensation.] We refused an MRI because surgery wasn’t a feasible option for his case, and many IVDD dogs still live full lives on wheels without an MRI or surgery because of their severe IVDD like Snowball. That was the path we were preparing for—until it was not.
June 22 · Nicole JosephAs a resident of the Thousand Oaks area I have been going to this veterinarian office for years and Dr. Singh has been the epitome of class, compassion and has always showed true love for the animals we brought in. I recently had to put one of our longtime animals down after 17 years and Dr. Singh made the hard experience as painless and easy on our family seeing our little loved one go. Dr. Singh is a great vet and the care he has shown for our family and pets shows the great man he is as-well. He has always been honest with our family about prices and been a trustworthy vet that I would recommend anyone in the Ventura County go to.
August 20 · Hunter DeniaudDr Singh and his team saved my dogs life a few years back. We adopted a yorkie who had blood sugar issues we weren’t told about. He started to decline quickly after we brought him home. I rushed him to Dr Singh, ran him into the back myself, and they immediately got to work on getting his blood sugar back up. Dr Singh said we were within an hour of losing him. I can’t even imagine not having Mr Bear in our lives today. We are eternally thankful.
April 14 · Joy RichertEven though we live in Somis, we had not used this clinic before. Well, yesterday I took our dog for a visit and I am glad I did. My first impression of Dr. Singh and staff is that they care and what you would want from the neighborhood clinic, reasonable and helpful. Thank you Dr. Singh and staff.
