But I recently moved to the area and had my first visit at this location today, and it was by far the worst veterinary experience I’ve ever had.I had a 9:30 AM in-room appointment, which I scheduled online. Since I’ve booked with Banfield before, I know the difference between drop-off and in-room visits, and I selected an in-room visit on purpose because I have a busy schedule and limited flexibility. I showed up on time, checked in, and waited over 30 minutes with no updates. No one came by to say there was a delay, and no one mentioned this was actually being treated as a drop-off.After half an hour, I politely went to the front desk and asked if someone would be coming soon. I explained I had work and just needed a rough idea of timing so I could plan accordingly. Instead of being helpful or even courteous, the woman at the front—who I believe is the office manager—very rudely told me to “go back in your room.” I was stunned. I calmly reiterated that I just wanted to understand how much longer it would be, but she cut me off mid-sentence, repeated “get back in your room,” and laughed at me like I was being unreasonable for asking a basic question.As I walked away, I could actually hear her talking about me to the vet tech and mocking me behind my back, saying “people are crazy” just for asking when someone would be available. 10 minutes later, someone finally came in not to start the appointment, but to tell me this was a drop-off, and I’d be leaving my dog for an unknown number of hours. That was never communicated. I never would have scheduled this if I had known.When I brought up that the appointment type said “in-room” when I booked online, they told me their location doesn’t do in-room appointments. I pointed out that if that’s the case, they shouldn’t allow people to book them online, it’s misleading and completely inconsiderate of people’s time.To make matters worse, I could hear multiple dogs crying and barking loudly from the back while I was waiting, which made me feel incredibly uneasy about leaving my dog there, especially with staff that seemed more interested in being dismissive than compassionate.If you care about your pet and your time, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I’ve always trusted Banfield, but this location was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic respect, for both animals and their owners
July 25 · Adriana VI had such a great experience thanks to Manager Kaylon and Vet Assistant Malik! Kaylon was kind, efficient, and committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. Malik was so patient, gentle, and smart—he took his time with my dog Chapo, who’s usually very anxious at the vet, and made him feel calm and comfortable. I really appreciated the care and attention they both gave us! Thank you :)

August 17 · Speechlynn BoWorst location I’ve ever visited. The Vet tech was amazing! The customer service in the front not so much!! I dropped off my dog at 8:30 am and was advised he would be ready at 11:00 am, I tried calling at 11:45 am however no one answered the phone. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THIS LOCATION!! The lady in the front was real quick to yell out you $755, no one gave me an updates on the appointment, any recommendations, NOTHING! When I asked I was advise that the doctor was in multiple surgeries all day which leaves me asking was my dog properly and thoroughly assessed. Additionally in the discharge paperwork it stated my dog has roundworm, no one told me anything! I was not given a prescription! The doctor called me to tell me he needed additional medicine for his heart and almost 48 hours later we have no prescription! The lady in the back was however real fast to offer me another service that was “discounted” from $74 to $63. This place made me feel like they didn’t care about my pet, it was all about the add ons, and the customer service was severely lacking. I am so disappointed I will be canceling my plan. We pay about $75 a month!!! You need to do better by your clients!

Scheduling an appointment is fast and easy, and they take care of you right away while being able to be apart of the appointment. The care is what you would want in a hospital. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful, kind and professional. Everyone there truly cares for their job and helping animals. They give every animal love and care. The doctors are not only professional but empathetic. They have very good recommendations for your pet’s symptoms and truly care for the wellbeing of the pets. I’ve been going to another location for years getting horrible services and misdiagnosed for my dog which would have cost me $5,000-$8,000 in surgery and X-rays that is very extreme. They were able to find out based on their recommendations other measures before going to the extreme because my dog has been peeing blood and having diarrhea. After the test in only a few days they called me back and the test they recommended was A LOT cheaper and informed me my dog had E. coli. They then recommended changing my dogs food to a medically prescribed diet and provided medicine for 6 weeks to help with her condition. The other location I’ve been going to for over 5 years with all her medical records just wanted me to go into surgery because one of the doctors had a hidden agenda as he has his own location in elmont that only specializes in surgery. He didn’t even want to continue the first set of medicine that was given and fought me about it saying I’m the reason for my dogs condition and only going in a cycle and making my dog addicted to the medicine. Whereas the doctors at this location was very receptive and understanding. I am very grateful for the doctors here and their commitment to treating the pets that walkthrough their doors. Thank you for providing exceptional service and care for my pet, my family/daughter and my best friend.
