★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had my second appointment for my two new kittens at this location. When I arrived, they told me my appointment was actually two hours later. I was super confused because I had two email confirmations for 8am, not 10am. The front desk said that sometimes the veterinarian will reschedule if they have too many drop-offs in the morning. I was quite annoyed, but I asked if they called or emailed about it. She said that it looked like the vet called the day before. However, I looked through my phone calls, voicemails, and emails and did not receive anything. When I did finally get in, I waited in the room for almost an hour. Meanwhile, I was listening to the vet (who I saw at my first appointment) and the other employees talk in the back about their dating lives and other experiences. I never saw the vet once during this appointment, but I heard them loud and clear for almost an hour while I waited. I thought everything was very unprofessional and disorganized. And my poor kittens were very stressed with the whole experience. Please don’t take your animals here.
May 26 · Hannah DefreesMy first visit was free, so there's a silver lining. It was an abysmal first impression however so not a chance I'd be back for anything, ever.I recieved a free coupon after adopting my new kitten. I easily set up an appointment over the phone, front staff was pleasant.Brought my kitten in 10ish minutes early, was brought back to the room after my appointment start time, waited another 10-15 minutes for the tech. They did basic vitals, asked basic questions and offered to do a second set of vaccines, I declined on this since I had a voucher for this too. I let the tech know she seems a little wheezy. They took her to a back room to supposedly see the vet; I never saw or met them. The tech came back with her, says she looks fine, handed me a print out for a kitten supplement to buy on Amazon and that was it.Not even meeting the veterinarian before getting sent out was very off-putting, especially when this process took *so* much longer than it should have. I would deem this visit a complete waste of time for everyone involved. If you offer a free first visit I would think you'd try harder to make a good first impression. Again, will never be back.
February 26 · Emily VorosI love Banfield. They seem to really love my 2 Schnoodles. Just a heads up, they don’t do the exam in the room with you like most vets do. They take your pet to the back while you wait in the exam room. And it’s REALLY hard to get an appointment that’s not a month or two away. But you have the option of trying several locations to try to find an opening. It’s always clean. When I arrive for my appointments I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. And if you sign up for their membership you get a free chat service with an actual veterinarian, among many other benefits. I’ve used the chat service a few times and have been very happy with it. I’ve had one of my guys neutered and the only thing I had to pay for, since I have the membership, was the pain meds which were $13.
February 09 · Tracy TaschMy German Shepherd has gone to Banfield on Signal Butte since birth, she is now 5. We have their wellness plan which is awesome. The staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend this office for your pet. I'm not easily impressed but the entire team are Rock Stars.
January 29 · Rebecca DuncanThe assistants are always sweet and understanding. The vet today, March 9th, in Mesa on signal butte is not friendly, very rude and has no regard for my 11 yr old cat who’s in a ton of pain due to having stomatitis.. The vet is young and has NO EMPATHY. Prince hasn’t been able to eat in several days and when he does eat it’s so painful that he shakes his head just to get his food down. I was late to this appt but called ahead to let them know and the front desk person said to go ahead and come in, as he will still have his appt. It took me longer than usual bc he ran when he saw his crate bc he knows he’s going to the vet. It made me 45 mins late from the initial time i was supposed to show up. When I got here the vet and the front desk lady refused care. They wanted to send to him home with antibiotic pills and he doesn’t do well with taking pills. His mouth is inflamed and it hurts him really bad. The vet doesn’t care. She said to come back in a week, then we can look at him. I can’t believe, they can’t spend an extra 30 Mins giving my cat an injection so he can feel better long enough for us to get his teeth extracted. We have a wellness plan with Banfield. Did that matter, nope. Prince has been a long time patient of Banfield. Did that matter, no. If it wasn’t too difficult to get him in his crate and to these appts. It wouldn’t be so bad. Now Prince will go without eating, without seeing a vet that we pay for w/a medical plan and without meds to help him w/eating and the inflammation. If you can help it, you’d be best to avoid, Dr. Jacelyn Cubillas
