★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Motler is an amazing veterinarian. My husband and I are parents to a 3 year old French Bulldog. Scarlette is everything to us and about 6 weeks ago we brought her to PVAH after being sent to over 5 doctors around NY state with what we thought was allergies. Dr. Motler discovered it was lymphoma. As devastating the news, Dr. Motler went to work to come up with the best plan of action that is within our power to maintain a good life for our Scarlette. Dr. Motler and her staff welcome us with open arms with every visit and Scarlette is happy and as healthy as she can be. What we like about Dr. Motler is she is straight to the point, honest and gives us real expectations. Dr. Motler understands how our Scarlette is no different than any other family member and is as compassionate about taking care of our Scarlette as we are about the love we have for our little girl. We truly are thankful to have finally found a veterinarian that cares so much for animals and the needs of their families. We recommend anyone who needs a safe place to bring their pet go to Dr.Motler. No matter what is going on in your pets life you can be confident the above and beyond care that will go into your pet is unique, genuine and unmatched anywhere. Thank you Dr. Motler.
October 03 · Roshanda MalageseI reached out to Pleasant Vally Animal Hospital for in Home Euthanasia of my Beloved Golden Retriever Dolly. I was transferred to Dr Motler who put me at ease and quickly worked me into her schedule. I can’t say enough about the Doctor, she was personal, comforting and above all took great care of my Dolly. Thankyou Dr Motler for providing this important service to our community.
January 16 · William SkidgellResponse to Owner:Yes, I’m not a client, but my fiancée was. I called because I’m from out of town, and instead of handling the call professionally, your staff laughed and mocked the reason for my call. That’s unacceptable. It shouldn’t matter who follows up—what matters is how your business treats people. The lack of sincerity and unprofessional phone etiquette left a poor impression. If this is how you treat potential job candidates, I can only imagine how little care is given elsewhere. I would never want my fiancée to work for, or even step foot in, a place that doesn’t respect people or their time.
August 16 · Mohannad Salous!!UPDATEx2!! 1/23/25 I finally got my cats records and the third picture is what was attached. I only received my cat's records BECAUSE I filed a report. I'm sure Dr.Motler assumed the records would go directly to my new vet and not me. Very unprofessional behavior. I recommend NO ONE go there unless you want your appointment canceled, be unable to reschedule, be charged for THEM canceling your appointment, berated, and treated like absolute garbage. Thank you for the paper trail Dr. Motler. I received a copy of the email in the mail. So not only does she charge clients for trying to reschedule, she harasses them too. I originally loved this place but after yesterday I will never be back and will recommend no one go there. I was singing their praises and now will never be back. My appointment was at 11:30. I arrived at 11:25 and called to let them know I knew I was early but checking in. They said they would get me in at my appointment time. Okay, cool. My cat doesn't travel well and they know that as I'd told them before but they hadn't given me any help with it. At 11:37 I called again to see if we could get her in as she was panting and even out of her carrier I couldn't calm her. I was told they were running behind and would get to me shortly. I waited until 11:45, when I called again and was greeted with an attitude upon telling them who I was. I explained I would like to reschedule as we had been waiting so long and my cat was not doing well. The vet, who shouldn't be answering phones or even dealing with people, had an attitude and told me they would get to me when they get to me and if I reschedule, I'd have to pay a cancelation fee. I told her that if I hadn't been waiting over 15 minutes I wouldn't be leaving and hung up. This is the email I got from them and proof of my call logs. Do not go to these people, the Dr is terrible. I was told by my vet tech professor to not go into this line of work if you don't like both people and animals. It's time to retire.
January 24 · Em NI loved this vet when she helped me with my very sick cat in 2022. She was kind and compassionate. When I called to make an appointment for my 4 year old cat who had just spent 48 hours in emergency care, I was told I had to pay $75 over the phone right that second to get an appointment that was unclear how far out it would be. When I asked how I could pay it if I did not have a credit card with $75 available, I was told I simply could not have an appointment. The person I spoke to on the phone then would not talk about anything other than how I would have to pay when the appointment happened, talking over me, and refusing to hear that it’s simply that I do not have a credit card with $75 available RIGHT THIS SECOND since we just spent $1900 on emergency care, and $270 on vials and insulin, all without warning. I started crying and was told to stop yelling and she hung up on me.
