★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1*8 month old Cat*35$ check-up is exactly what you get.Everyone's experience and pet is different, and unfortunately, our experience was very deceptive. Being as desperate as I was, I took my cat here. There were no issues with the staff and nurse as they were helpful and very kind. I had come in due to my cat experiencing constipation, AND THE DOCTOR MISS DIAGNOSED MY CAT.Being NOT a pet doctor, like everyone else, i shut up, listened, and paid. The doctor, hearing that our pet had potentially ate plastic, deemed his issue as hairballs, with a simple abdomen check. He had seemed very judgemental and dismissed us after hearing that we had not fed him BECAUSE he couldn't poop! And stated, "You should feed him. That's why he isn't popping." Like alright, it's not like I informed you of everything that's happening at home. Super arrogant man he treated us after like we were bad pet owners. This clinic is also expensive, upchanging for things you can get yourself, so maybe look up what they're suggesting and get it yourself if possible. With that, my poor baby died on us due to blockage, and we had to put him down elsewhere.*Picture is before he was put down, before you think they care to even put a little heart on his sleeve before dying*.
February 16 · Tonyi don’t even want to leave one star. i came to this clinic super worried about my pet. i knew something was wrong with him and the staff was fine, some more pleasant than others, but the doctor was straight arrogant. he treated me like i was overreacting. saying condescending things like the cat needs to eat to poop but i knew over feeding him would cause bloating. i told him from the beginning i suspected a blockage because my cat had ate some plastic but he insisted it was just hairballs. gave me some paste and promised he’d poop within 48hours. but my cat didn’t. he was trying to go outside of the litter, being lethargic and lost appetite. it’s been days. he's been suffering till i had enough money. so now im at a emergency hospital trying to fix this poor diagnosis. please. if you value your pet like family. DO NOT COME HERE. It is NOT worth the cheap check up.update: it’s been 2 days since my review. i had to put my cat down because of their false diagnosis. if i could raise hell on this place, i would. i put a picture of my sweet boy with his catheters before the procedure at a DIFFERENT emergency clinic. PLEASE PLEEEASE DONT BRING YOUR BABY HERE.
February 16 · Celeste VallejoPoor Customer Service - Turned Away When Following Doctor's InstructionsI initially brought my cat in for a paw condition, and the veterinarian diagnosed it as dryness and prescribed fish oil, instructing me to bring my cat back if the treatment didn't help. When I returned on August 16th as directed, the younger receptionist with glasses refused to let the doctor see my cat, telling me I should take him to emergency instead. This is completely unacceptable. When a veterinarian tells you to return if treatment isn't working, the clinic should honor that follow-up appointment. As a veterinary hospital, you should be seeing all pets that doctors have specifically asked to return. The receptionist seemed overwhelmed and simply rejected both me and my pet rather than providing the care we were promised.I followed the doctor's exact instructions only to be turned away at the door. This is poor customer service and fails to meet basic expectations for veterinary care continuity.
August 25 · nazeli nazariI am truly thankful for this facility, they have very affordable prices. The consultation is 35 and the depending on your pet's health situation. they give you affordable options for treatment. ❤️🙏
July 02 · L. SanchezIt's very sad the state of this vet clinic since Dr. Makkar retired. I have taken my pets to this clinic for 30 years. Dr. Makkar was very warm and kind with our animals. Now since the new vet has taken over, things have gone down hill. He personally lacks a good bedside manner and social skills ( uncertain if he is on the spectrum). He doesn't particularly like cats. I continued to take my pets there just because the vet techs were kind and caring. Today was different. The current vet tech basically man handled my cat when trying to get my cat out of the carrier. I helped with getting my cat out and then he immediately jabs my cat with the needles of the vaccines while I am holding my cat with no warning. This guy could have accidentally poked me with the needles had I or my cat moved. Then as I am still holding my cat, with no warning he grabs his paw to clip the nails. Normally, my cat has to be wrapped in a towel like a burrito before so he can't wiggle. So, I explained this and tried to reach for the towel butthe tech won't let go and pulled my cat's arm while clipping. So my cat gets fed up and hisses. The guy then basically runs out of the room without saying anything. I then go to the receptionist, who was nice and I explain what happened. As she is telling me that they can have a different vet tech for the next visit, the guy comes out yelling at me and berates me. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. It seems that they don't care about loyal customers. So sad .
