A Animal Clinic of Queens: Thomas Robert W DVM Introduce
In the bustling and diverse borough of Queens, New York, finding a reliable and compassionate veterinary clinic is essential for any pet owner. A Animal Clinic of Queens, led by Dr. Thomas Robert W. DVM, has been a local fixture, providing essential care to the community’s beloved pets. Located in the heart of Flushing, this clinic serves as a key resource for residents seeking professional veterinary services for their animal companions. This comprehensive guide will provide a detailed overview of what makes this clinic a notable option for New Yorkers navigating the complexities of pet health.
The clinic's reputation is built on a foundation of providing critical care and a team dedicated to the well-being of every pet. For many, finding a trusted veterinarian is a personal journey, and positive experiences often lead to lasting relationships. One customer recounted a profound experience, noting how the staff's kindness and the expertise of a doctor, referred to as Dr. C, helped their very sick pet recover. This particular pet owner was so impressed that they decided to make Dr. C their permanent veterinarian for their "baby." This kind of personal connection and successful outcome is what many pet owners seek when entrusting a clinic with their animal's health. The friendly and caring nature of the staff, as highlighted in this review, is a significant factor in creating a comfortable and trusting environment for both pets and their owners.
However, it is important for potential clients to consider all available information when making a choice about their pet's care. Public data, including online reviews, can sometimes present a mixed picture. While some clients have excellent experiences, others may have concerns. For example, another review shared a different perspective, highlighting a less-than-ideal experience with a cat's eye problem. This review expressed a feeling that the issue was not treated aggressively enough, leading to a more severe condition. The pet owner noted that they were later advised by a specialist that the clinic had received "poor" reviews from other patients. This serves as a reminder that pet owners should always feel empowered to seek second opinions or consult with specialists, especially for complex or urgent conditions. It underscores the importance of a thorough and detailed discussion with the veterinarian about all available diagnostic and treatment options, including blood work or more in-depth exams, to ensure all possibilities are explored. Ultimately, the best choice for any pet is one that aligns with the owner's judgment and comfort level, and the reviews from others can be a part of that decision-making process.
Despite these varied experiences, the clinic remains a part of the local veterinary landscape. It is clear that finding the right match between a pet's specific needs and a clinic's services is crucial. A Animal Clinic of Queens focuses on providing general veterinary care, and for many routine situations, it can be a convenient and reliable option. The presence of restrooms for clients is a small but appreciated amenity that contributes to a more comfortable visit. The recommendation for appointments is a standard practice that helps to manage the flow of patients, reduce wait times, and allow the staff to be prepared for each case, ensuring a more organized and efficient experience for everyone.

January 15 · Ida RolonFIND SOME PLACE ELSE.I had previously used this clinic as my primary Vet back in 2016-2018. But then I moved, and I remember why.Recently my cat experienced eye problems and this was the only appointment I could get on a Sunday. While the doctor was nice he ultimately didn’t treat my cats eye as aggressively as he should’ve. He didn’t suggest blood work, or a more thorough eye exam which may have resulted in my cats eye becoming permanently damaged- something I discovered 10 days later when the eye drops he gave me didn’t really do anything except allow the undiagnosed glaucoma to shift to the other eye.I don’t like writing bad reviews but my cats life has been greatly affected. I had a follow up appointment that I’m glad I cancelled. I don't trust their opinion. I wouldn't even go so far as to use the word expert.UPDATE: After calling the a veterinarian eye specialist in the area I was told they have heard 'poor' reviews of this animal hospital from other patients. Please whoever is reading this please find another doctor to take care of your animal. My cat's sight may never return and part of it is due to the lack of true care given in his true time of need.
November 24 · Shelby CopppolaIf I could give 0 stars I would. My dog hasn't eaten in over a week without throwing up and constant diahrea. After spending $1000 on blood work; xrays and some medicine which arguably made him worse I was told to schedule a $600 ultrasound with their partnering imaging location. I was then told I'd have to provide a time frame of three days and hope that the doctor has an open spot that coincides with my availability. ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE of URGENCY.The front of house staffs attitude is horrible. Completely stand off ish, they gatekeep you from speaking to doctor. I was told to follow up BY the doctor if my dog worsened which he did; the front staff either didn't forward my message and I was ignored or simply forgot, the doctor was then off the following day with no doctor on shift to assist. Possibly worsening his condition. When I was finally seen again, the staff told my wife they lost my dogs chart as if that's OUR fault; the office was super packed with dogs and customers waiting outside. A clear sign of greed. The doctor is charming and is quick to make you laugh and put you at ease but it's all a farce because actions speak louder than words. He also refused to believe my dog wasn't eating; as if I'd be spending $1000 and not be fully transparent.Save your $ and go elsewhere where your pet is treated with the urgency they need.
April 16 · oliver taverasI can’t thank Dr. Mucera and the office staff especially Kiara for helping me. My Daughters dog swallowed a tube sock. So I called my veterinarian Dr. Thomas office in Ridgewood. I explained what happened with the dog. Kiara and Dr. Mucera instructed me what to do over the phone. Thank goodness it worked or else I was looking at a 8-10,000 dollar emergency operation. They were very informative, patient and most of all caring. February 2022J.M.
