★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Loose is a great vet. My reactive dog does really well with her. Our last appointment my dog didn't need a muzzle which has never happened with another vet and was really relieving for me. What led me to write this review was my experience having to put down my cat. He had been in palliative care for lymphoma for some time and it somewhat suddenly became clear that he needed to pass on. I was able to come in the same day that I called and I couldn't have asked for a better transition for him. Dr Loose and the staff were so gracious and kind and it made such a painful process just a little bit easier and I am so grateful for that. Nothing felt sterile and there were a lot of steps taken to make us and him as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your kindness and care.
August 13 · Tess MayerI adopted Chicken, a 14-year-old cat who had spent much of his life on the streets of Bed-Stuy. Given his age and lack of consistent medical care, I knew we might face some health challenges — but I wasn’t prepared for how critical things would become.Chicken was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia, a life-threatening condition that required emergency surgery. The procedure was intense, and his recovery was slow and difficult. Just as he began to heal, he needed another surgery for dental/gum disease and is currently diagnosed for stomatitis. The past few months were filled with long nights and constant care. But Chicken pulled through — thanks to his original feeder, his foster, the generous donations from strangers that helped fund his surgeries, and a truly attentive veterinary team who made time for him, even when they barely had any to give.I’ve been to places like Bond Vet and Seaport Animal Hospital, where the care felt rushed and disengaged. In contrast, Dr. Loose treated him like more than just a case — even though he was a senior cat with slim chances.I love this sweet old man so much. He’s finally getting to enjoy the life he deserves. Thank you, Dr. Loose.
June 10 · Sunmi YimI've been a client of Dr. Loose for over 10 years, and there's no one I trust more with my fur babies than her and her amazing team. Dr. Loose consistently goes above and beyond for all her animal patients, offering not only expert care but also genuine compassion. When the time came to make the difficult decision for my 18-year-old cat's peaceful passing, Dr. Loose's bedside manner was a true comfort. She handled such an emotional moment with grace and sensitivity, which I will always be grateful for. What I truly appreciate is how thorough Dr. Loose and her team are in every aspect of my pets' care. They always take the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring that I fully understand what's going on and can make the best, most informed decision for my pets' well-being.I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Loose and her team in my corner, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly cares about their furry clients.
November 26 · Barbara TaliaEveryone is friendly. Dr. Loose really knows her stuff. I fully trust her opinion. When I explained my own personal health situation they were all very empathetic & accommodating. My baby KJ below resting after the appointment. Thank you!
June 28 · Danni ThedreamWhat an amazing experience. Our dog hurt himself this weekend and we were seen first thing on Monday. The office is clean and the staff couldn’t be any nicer. The Dr and assistants took such care and time with our dog. Best vet experience I have ever had.
