★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Nichole is the most kind, compassionate, loving vet my sweet dog Soca has been cared for and treated by. Not only does she provide top tier care, she does it with respect for the dog and their owner and gives you detailed explanations of the current situation/treatment plan. She is direct, but respectful and never makes you feel like she is being insensitive. Her and her amazing staff go above and beyond for the client. They do excellent teaching and also email additional educational vids and information for further comprehension. My dog was newly diagnosed with diabetes yesterday and is now insulin-dependent. Very tough and overwhelming day, but I left feeling confident that we will get her blood sugars under control and weight management better with goals to gain a pound or two back. She put together a treatment plan including the new diet (diabetic support diet) and medication guide for the insulin. I cannot thank her enough for seeing us in such short notice andHelping me to catch this disease early. Love her and the entire Arrow Dog and Cat Hospital crew!! You guys are incredible!
June 21 · Francine HifeSo I've taken my dog to this place because her paw was injured and started limping. She yelped every time we touched her paw. She was examined by this old lady named Samantha, and saw that her paw was in pain. She decided to lie saying it's her knee then claimed she needed x-rays and surgery, racking up a bill to over $1500. I said no and opted for pain killers and updated vacs. My dog took 2 pills and and 2 days later she is perfectly fine. Its been a couple weeks without pain killers and she's still fine. This vet takes advantage of your love for your animals to make a profit. My mother also got her wallet sucked dry because this same vet didn't want to tell her that her cat had cancer and needed to be put to rest. This vet is untrustworthy and highly advise take your pet elsewhere. The assistants were kind and professional though.
June 07 · Henry HernandezWe have had our share of vets between two dogs and two major moves. We have never felt as “at home” as we do with Arrow Dog and Cat. We felt so supported and actually cared for here. Thank you for your sensitivity and warmth with Sam.
March 06 · Debbie EsquivalIts so refreshing to have a dedicated space for cats. Not every vet has this and not every vet is equally as great with cats as they are with dogs. For many years I've been taking my cats to cat only vets. But there isn't one near where I live currently. So this space is very helpful and Dr. Weinstein is very knowledgeable about cats. The techs are very helpful and kind.
August 01 · Shelley KayThe staff here seems nice, and we had hopes they would be able to vaccinate our cat - who is a sweet, yet misunderstood girl that had a challenging upbringing in life before we adopted her. Due to her past traumas, she is fearful and defensive with people she doesn’t know when she first meets them. It’s just the way she is and we have hopes she can fully mentally heal someday. When we took her here, the entire staff was immediately scared of her and the veterinarian didn’t even try to touch her. I think our girl could feel their fear, which only made the situation harder. The vet observed her but made no attempt to try to bring her out of our carrier. Their team’s only proposition was to sedate our girl since they didn’t believe they could vaccinate her otherwise. She just needs a bit of patience and empathy - but we did not feel that from this hospital. I imagine they do well with other animals who are easier to handle based on previous reviews of this place, but they don’t seem too competent or experienced with non-friendly cats. In the end, they wanted to charge us $700 for sedation and yearly vaccinations, so we walked out. We ended up going to Angel’s Care Animal Hospital in Upland, and the veterinarian there is a true angel. They were able to give our baby girl her vaccinations. They allowed her run and jump in the room we were in, the vet wrapped her in a blanket that was scented with calming spray, and they let us have alone time with her to calm her down before she let the vet staff touch her without a defensive response. None of the staff at Angel’s brought up sedation and were prepared for how to deal with her feral moments. We realized some hospitals, such as this one, may not be well-versed with cats who take a bit of time to warm up to; but my hope is that they dedicate some time and effort towards preparing for cats whose personalities may be similar to our baby girl.
