May 01 · Brooke EmersonNoodle was attacked by ticks on our trip to white mountain and they got an emergency appointment the same day. When he was seen they advised on what best to do for care not based off of money but based off what would be in his best interest to produce accurate results. They are always friendly and welcoming (they put his name on the welcome chalkboard lol ). I appreciate All they do to keep my fur baby safe and I am glad he is a patient and will remain. Thank you !
June 30 · Chavone BrockenberryI can not say enough good things about Windham Animal Hospital. They took such great care of my Golden Retriever, Morgan for 15 years.. since he was a puppy. He has sadly passed but they now take such great care for my new Black Labs, Logan and Lyle and have for the past 4 years. Can’t say enough great things about them.
March 28 · Ettore SantarelliGreat staff. Caring vet called that night after hours to share the latest and thorough update on our beloved mastiff, so we could plan for next steps in his care.
July 09 · Stephanie WilburI can’t believe I have to give even one star to this place. I never leave negative reviews, but my experience today warrants it.I switched from another vet (whom was never a problem, this place was just closer for us so that’s why we switched) to Windham. I brought my dog in today for a yearly exam and some vaccines. My dog is a timid dog and always has been since we rescued her as a pup, so naturally she was shy and scared going in there. The vet who saw my dog seemed like she didn’t know how to handle her timidness and right away suggested medicating my dog. We don’t want to put her on anxiety meds, because normally she’s fine with what she’s familiar with. The vet took her out back to do the shots because “we don’t want her having a bad experience in the exam room”. Uhm..okAnyways, a few minutes later they bring her back in and said she peed and pooped from being scared and that she wouldn’t let them do anything. So she didn’t get her shots or an exam. I was told to bring her back in after giving her a chill pill before hand to make it easier.I said I wasn’t going to pay for two exam visits when nothing got done and the vet said “I will try and make it as cheap as possible” to which I reiterated that I am not paying for two visits when this should be done today. Again all she said was “ I’ll make it as cheap as possible”.Our last vet had no problem comforting my dog enough to do what they needed to do and send us on our way. Isn’t that their job?!So, I go to the front desk and they tell me my total is $126! I said I am not paying that, nothing was even done!So the manager comes out and talks to me and I explained what happened, then she tries telling me to put my dog on meds too. Then she goes back and talks to the vet before coming back to talk to me again. The manager told me a second time to consider meds and then said that my dog scratched the vet tech on the leg while they were trying to work with her, so because of that, my dog won’t be a “good fit”. Well, I whole heartedly agree. And why didn’t the vet tell me about the scratch when she brought my dog back in the exam room? She never even mentioned it, but I heard it from the manager? I’m sure my dog was not liking what was being done so she flailed her leg a little bit and happened to scratch the tech, it wasn’t like she purposely did it. But whatever.Either way, this explanation doesn’t even do justice to describe how terrible my first experience there was. And the audacity to try and get me to give them $126 is insane. It’s very very rare I go full Karen.
