Petco Plainview is the best. I trust them so much that I brought my baby boy there For vaccines and a check up and they were so wonderful. The office is clean and I rescheduled and scheduled without any issue using the app. The doctor and all staff were so gentle and kind to my baby boy! Best promos on all dog food. You can literally accomplish All your needs in one spot. Ten stars!! The store is clean and the trainers and all staff are kind and helpful. Gonna try the groomers next.

That night, I met the store manager, an incredibly helpful and kind lady who made the experience so smooth.⸻First Impressions & First-Time DiscountPetco offers a 20% first-time buyer discount, and I definitely made the most of it — spending over $500 that night to get everything we needed to bring Piper home. From food and toys to bedding and grooming supplies, they had it all in one place.⸻A One-Stop Shop for PiperSince then, this location has become our home away from home. Piper comes here for grooming, and I regularly pick up her bones, toys, and other essentials. I’ve also used their in-store veterinary services, which have been convenient and reliable.⸻Location & AtmosphereThe store is about a 10-minute drive from my house (thanks mostly to the traffic lights), and its location is perfect for quick trips. This place was great! Employees are genuinely so sweet and helpful. The grooming services do an okay job of cutting my dog's hair, but I can usually find everything I need for my dog at this Petco. Usually has all the food and toys that I need. But the cashier, Dean, was genuinely sweet, helpful, and personable! Appreciated him!

I had a really frustrating experience at this pet clinic. I traveled 30 minutes to get there based on glowing recommendations from friends, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype.When we arrived, it was complete chaos. Every person walking in seemed to have the exact same appointment time, and it was clear the clinic had overbooked. The staff looked overwhelmed, stressed, and unorganized. There was no clear system for managing the flow of patients, and the waiting area was packed with confused and frustrated pet owners.After waiting for a while with no updates or structure, I left . I just didn’t feel comfortable putting my pet through that kind of disorganized environment, especially after making the trip out there. Really disappointing experience — I hope they get their scheduling right that way the staff is not overwhelmed.

I used to be a customer at their Syosset location and followed them when they moved to Plainview. There used to be many friendly and lovely staff, especially the dog trainers. But since they moved here, the staff haven’t been as warm or welcoming.During checkout, one staff member asked if I wanted to sign up for vital care. I asked several times if it cost money, and he kept saying it was free and that I’d get discounts. But when I paid, the price didn’t look right. I asked again, and he told me to just pay and check the receipt. Only after I kept questioning him did he finally admit there was a membership fee.I told him he should have informed me earlier, but he said, “All my customers are happy to accept it.” I felt misled and pressured. It was not an honest or respectful way to treat a customer.To make things worse, as I was trying to sort out the issue, a white lady behind me in line suddenly yelled at me, saying they shouldn’t have to wait for me to figure out my membership. I couldn’t help but feel that my Asian face made me an easy target for her frustration. There was only one register open—why didn’t she question the staff instead of yelling at me? I felt very uncomfortable, especially my son with me!!!and when a manager came over, they didn’t say a single word of apology .Transparency is key in customer service, and I felt deceived and taken advantage of. I will not be returning, and I hope others are more cautious.
