★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I support this animal shelter wholeheartedly. The owner does her best to give these innocent fur babies the care they deserve. People leaving negative reviews need to understand that this is a mother and son doing their part, rescuing animals that have been neglected by their previous owners.I have personally visited the shelter several times to drop off abandoned or feral cats, and I’ve seen that it is maintained as best as possible given their resources. Instead of criticizing this small shelter for alleged “mismanagement” which I completely disagree with based on what I’ve seen why not help? Donate, volunteer, or support this woman who has been mistreated by these comments. She is a wonderful person and does not deserve this type of attention. She’s doing her part the bigger question is ARE YOU?
August 20 · J HernandezCat was malnourished, I can feel her ribs and bones! But I realized this once I took her home! After paying $200 for her. I’m glad I rescued this cat from this place! I was deceived! My cat will be alright because she will be examined by the ASPCA and if they tell me she is sick or dying, this place will be sued! Don’t leave your fur baby here! But if you need to adopt, please do and rescue these animals 🐾 They even have dogs in the basement! The cat I bought had feces all over her backside and skinny that you can feel her bones. No I didn’t get to examine her at this place, maybe I should’ve, but I love her nonetheless and she will be fine once I get her to Vet at ASPCA. I know they will ask me where did I get her from…. And this place is going to be in so much trouble. And they need to lower the price $200 for a sick cat? Nah! This ain’t going down without a fight! They can keep my $200/ but my cat is going to be well taken cared of from now on! And I specifically went to this place because they are black owned, because I support black owned businesses, but they’re NEVER GETTING MY MONEY EVER AGAIN!!They didn’t give me a medical history of my cat and on top of that I get free toys all dirty and from Xmas that I had to put in the washing machine!ASPCA WILL BE NOTIFIED & MY JEWISH LAWYER!
April 19 · Agustina GarciaI got my cat from them a year but it started to be real unprofessional from them in a couple months when I tried to contact and see about grooming and stuff for my cat. I called today and was told I can the cat in for simple grooming even after 6 even though they say they close at 8. I went there around 6;20pm and guess what they were closed, shutters and everything. So I wasted my time:
May 31 · chocolate berryOk so I managed Petland Discounts in your area for 5 years. I can understand dealing with the crates you have available and possible lack of bedding due to cost. At petland, it looked not so great to the customer but they didn’t know that behind the scenes we would exercise all the animals individually each day and give them ALL individual attention. But not all managers did that, I was one of a handful to make sure of it. It’s hard work running a pet store (u refer to yourselves as a rescue? Or shelter I believe? Kind of confused on the title situation) so with that being said, and with COMPASSION, Knowing that I don’t know u whatsoever or what goes on behind the scenes- and haven’t been to your establishment- u must understand that these photos are alarming. They’re posted on a Facebook group for lost pets.i don’t condone pointing fingers saying “u stole this person’s dog!” Etc, I think that’s kinda overboard, but anything is possible. Hopefully that isn’t the case. Anyway, these dogs need much more proper husbandry if u are going to advertise this. And I’m not trying to be preachy but I’m looking out for the welfare of animals with no voice. These crates are TOO small. They need BEDS. They need more crate cleaning. I pray they are getting out of these crates often, dear God. They look miserable. According to poster- your shop was filthy. I can’t speak on it bc I wasn’t there but not sure why they would just make that up. I know this is a long post but I’m awake here at 5 am and can’t sleep bc THATS how much these photos are giving me anxiety. And I don’t believe in bashing people’s businesses but I feel like I have to do something. I have to SAY something. This doesn’t feel right and this doesn’t look right. So Please respond with something that will calm my nerves and make this make sense. Thanks.
