Sent my two senior dogs there to be groomed. Upon completion the assigned groomer proceeds to advise that I send them to a veterinarian to be groomed. I asked for a summer cut and my dog’s back was shaved bald. Her hair is growing back in, but it looks terrible. We will never go back.

I purchased the Proplan Complete Chicken and Rice dog food at the Carrollwood location and had to return it due to worms, apparently from moths. I assumed it might be a location-specific issue, so I tried purchasing from another store, Westshore, but unfortunately, I experienced the exact same problem again. This is a serious issue, particularly with a premium-priced product from a trusted brand. I strongly urge Petco, to review its storage and handling processes, as this directly impacts pet health. I will not be purchasing from this store again until I see clear improvements.

Buyer beware! Due to their infestation of pest snails I have had to spend hundreds of dollars to fix a problem that I would have never had if I had steered clear of this store… when I informed them they had suggestions of course but all of it required them selling me solutions to solve the problem they created. The better way to handle this would have been to offer solutions at their own expense. Don’t buy from this store!

Holly and Grace were absolutely amazing. We came in with a complicated return due to our pets dietary needs and they were so helpful. Will definitely be my go to pet store from now on.

Paid a premium price for grooming Cassie, a 15lb fluffy halfbreed. My appt. was for 12pm, which is the time I arrived. I was told she'd be done about 3pm. When I came back they had not started on her. The staff told me not only were they behind but they had a VIP appt. to fit in. I waited in and around the store til 4:45pm to pick her up. A courtesy call might have been nice but this kind of inconvenience was bothersome to me. The staff was nice and providing, even though she spent minimal time with my dog. I realize this may have been beyond their control...
