We had such a wonderful experience at Banfield thanks to veterinary technician Marissa and veterinarian Dr. Monet! Our dog is fear reactive, and both of them were incredibly patient, warm, and calm throughout the visit. They walked us and our pup through two vaccine shots, helping her feel safe while also making my husband and me feel comfortable and supported. They took the time to educate us, showed so much empathy, and truly went above and beyond. By the end of the appointment, our dog was so relaxed she was licking Marissa’s face, which says it all! This is our second positive Google review for this location, and we are so grateful for their continued care and wanted to give them a well-deserved shout out!

I THINK THAT PEOPLE ARE DRAMATIC!! My baby donut, would not be here if it weren't for this specific Banfield on McClintock!! They were the only ones available that day on the spot. I had like thirty five minutes to get there, and I was twenty six minutes away, so not my nearest Petsmart. I left everything to get my baby there. The doctor was honest, my baby did need ER care that I couldn't afford. Neither of us had high hopes, but I prayed for my baby a lot. In fact, neither of us thought it would be a good idea to start her on a health plan at that moment. But she is on one now and it's going great!! The Dr was very knowledgeable, and she told me everything that they were doing in the back to help my little chihuahua, who was only six weeks old at the time and was way too small to weigh. I took that knowledge and I became my baby's ER at home. Because of the things that that doctor prescribed and the knowledge that she so willingly shared, My baby is still here. She is still small by every definition of the word. She was the runt (ONLY girl) litter of five! Meaning she has been fighting for her right to eat and live from conception, lol. I cannot wait to get my baby back by to see her and her staff. I DID call and express my gratitude. She is so full of life and bring smiles to the faces of anyone who lays eyes on her, including countless people at the hospital, her and I stayed at while my sister was there for about a month, and now everyone at the nursing home she's at. She's just over a pound now. She is three months old now, and is stronger than ever and her spirit is even stronger!! I cannot wait to get her back to this facility because they were the first group of people, who fell in love with her in the back, and I would love to see them fall in love with her all over again, just like the Banfield near us has.

Extremely Disappointed — Repeated Poor Experiences Across Multiple LocationsI’ve been a Banfield customer for several years and have visited four different locations. Unfortunately, each visit has reinforced the same conclusion: Banfield is not the right place for my pets — or anyone else’s.At the Dysart and Fiesta locations, my pets were returned to me visibly dehydrated. The amount of water they consumed immediately after returning home made it clear they hadn’t been properly cared for during their stay. That alone was enough to make me lose confidence in Banfield’s standards of care.After that experience, I chose not to return. However, I was still locked into their wellness plan through December, so I reluctantly decided to give Banfield one last chance. I searched for a location with the highest ratings in the East Valley and scheduled an appointment, hoping that maybe—just maybe—this would be the exception.Initially, things looked promising. The staff seemed friendly and informative, and one of the veterinary technicians (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) took time to walk me through the process. Her professionalism gave me a brief sense of hope.That hope quickly vanished. I later received a call from Courtney, who took over my pets’ care. She began reviewing their vaccinations but listed several they had already received at a different clinic. When I pointed this out, she admitted she hadn’t had time to review their previous records. This lack of attention to detail is exactly what I’ve experienced at every Banfield I’ve visited. What if I hadn’t spoken up? Would they have been vaccinated again unnecessarily? I trusted Banfield to act as professionals — and they didn’t.To make matters worse, when they called to let me know my pets are ready, no one gave me an update on the tests they had performed. I assumed I’d be brought into a room to review the results — but instead, the front desk staff casually mentioned that the doctor hadn’t entered the notes yet and asked if they could just send the receipt later. No explanation, no conversation, no follow-up.This is the consistent, disappointing level of care I’ve encountered at every Banfield location. There’s no excuse for this kind of negligence — especially when people are trusting you with the health and well-being of their animals.To anyone reading this: I strongly urge you to take your pets elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I brought my cats here and I am so happy I did!! Everyone was great! The vet, the vet techs were great!! Lee-Ann the Practice Manager is so awesome!! They were very caring and compassionate and very knowledgeable! This is where I will be taking my cats for now on!!Leon R.
