★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They were absolutely horrible! First I checked in with them at 1:00pm was not seen until 2:00. When I entered no one greeted themselves nor addressed my dog except one lady and she never came back into the room. They immediately after weighing him put a muzzle on him and held him down to take his temperature. After ONE real try they then proceeded to try through his rectum. Once they completed that they continued to hold him down to comb him which made my doggy very uncomfortable because one, he’s in a room full of strangers, and two they immediately started to man handle him without him getting to become familiar with them. After trying to continue to comb him and hold him down my doggy broke out of the muzzle and tried to get away. At this point EVERYONE in the room became terrified of him and no longer wanted to access him without sedation. I was then told to put the muzzle back on him myself and I had to lift and put him back on the table. ( I also herd a lady in by the front desk say “what can she not handle her dog”, because mind you they left the door to the front desk open which also had 4 other people in there along with the three in the actual room) By this point everyone has checked out of physically trying to help him and made it clear that he would have to come back the next day for sedation if we wanted to resume with treatment because he would be sedated for the next 12 hours. The price for one antibiotic shot, at home antibiotics, cortisone shot, and the cleaning of his wounds would cost $508 and with sedation it would be more! I asked if they could just give me the at home antibiotic for me to administer myself and I was rudely told yes, but there’s a possibility it may not work??? This was not my first time here but it will definitely be my last, the entire staff is a joke, the only kind people is the lady who introduced herself, and the guy who was holding my doggy down, as he was not afraid of him but understood his guard was up due to his recent encounter with some raccoons which is why we were at the vet in the first place. If your doggy has trauma and needs REAL CARE do not go here. They can not and will not help you without having a nasty attitude.
July 15 · Marsolette GoodenThey are doing only vaccinations, and spay and neuter. The front desk lady listened carefully when I explained the symptoms and told me to bring my dog after their lunch brake as a walk-in. Upon arrival I was told by different crew that they can't do anything. They wouldn't see the dog based on my repeated symptom description, wouldn't even recommend any other place where I can take him. I wasted few valuable hours. Don't take your pet there, there are better places around.
August 18 · Goran LazarevicMy dog was sick from something she ate. The vet was very caring and ordered all the necessary tests. She also prescribed her medication and my dog is doing much better. She found the problem and I’ll be going back to see if my dog’s liver recovered. The staff were really friendly, helpful, and caring. They answered all my questions and gave me time to make financial decisions about my dog’s health.
April 28 · Cecilia FernandezADDENDUM: my pets primary doctor confirmed he was still fighting a raging case of ringworm. So if your pet visited this clinic and present with alopecia and lesions that are scabbing, please get it properly diagnosed. Clearly ringworm was not in their diagnosis despite the verbal history they were given. To woods lamp test was offered to rule out. Immediately a penicillin injection and antibiotics to go home. BY THE WAY. EVERYONE AND ANYONE WHO HAS COME HERE I SUGGEST YOU REQUEST YOUR RECORDS. UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW YOU ARE ENTITLED AND THEY ARE OBLIGATED TO RELEASE YOUR RECORDS. PER AVMA GUIDELINES, THE PET OWNERS OWN THE RECORDS. DO NOT LET THEM PUNK YOU ATOUND AND TELL YOU ITS THEIR POLICY. THWY ARE BREAKING CALIFORNIA LAW AND IT OS A REPORTABLE OFFENSE TO THE MEDICAL BOARD. That is all.I wanted to give this clinic the benefit of the doubt. Upon arriving the woman who I presume is the vets wife, asked me why I didn’t take my pets to their regular doctor. Well, they had an emergency splenectomy on a Saturday and. The other doctor had to take those patients too.One of my pets was sicker than the other. They prioritized seeing the healthier one first. I had to go to another clinic where I was able to get a convenia injection for the sicker pet in the meantime. Now I have a sick pet that can’t open the eye, red, and excessive tear production. They immediately offered bloodwork on the healthier pet. Which I won’t deny he is due for it, but that wasn’t the priority. I already tread carefully with him since he’s immunocompromised AND on steroids.Needless to say only one pet was seen and got medications. On the plus side, I guess I could calculate dosage and split the meds between them both.
August 17 · Bad Drivers Of LADo not go here I paid $467.00treatGave me flea meds that did not work. Had to take my pup elsewhere to get meds that work. They did not want to refund or give me another flea med.Rip off doctor!!!
