Petland Strongsville Introduce
For many Ohio residents, the journey to find a new furry family member leads to a local pet store, and in Strongsville, that journey often ends at Petland. As a national chain with a strong local presence, Petland Strongsville is a destination for those looking to add a puppy, small animal, or new supplies to their home. This store is more than a simple retail outlet; it's a place designed to facilitate the connection between people and pets, offering a hands-on experience and a variety of resources to help new owners on their journey.
Petland Strongsville operates with the goal of ensuring that every pet finds a loving and prepared home. The staff, or "pet counselors," are trained to help prospective owners understand the responsibilities of pet ownership and to match them with the right animal for their lifestyle. As noted in a customer review, the staff is helpful and dedicated, with one person staying for "almost 3 hours" to assist with a credit application and give the customer more time to observe a puppy. This commitment to customer service and education is a key part of their business model. The puppies at Petland are socialized from a young age, often housed in groups of two or three to encourage play and interaction, and are accustomed to being handled by people, as one review mentions, allowing a puppy to be touched "everywhere" and to "enjoy our time."
Petland Strongsville is located at 1148 Southpark Center Suite 400, Strongsville, OH 44136, USA. This prime location within the Southpark Center makes it a convenient and easily accessible destination for residents of Strongsville and the greater Cleveland area. The store is committed to accessibility, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, ensuring that all customers can visit comfortably. Designed for a "quick visit," the store is laid out to make it easy for shoppers to find what they need, but it also provides a welcoming environment for those who want to spend time interacting with the animals. While the store has Wi-Fi and accepts modern payment methods like debit cards and NFC mobile payments, the focus is on in-store, hands-on experiences and onsite services to facilitate the purchase of a new pet.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Although some of the comments are a bit over the top. The experience was pleasant. The puppies looked good, the staff there seemed to take good care of them. They have 2-3 puppies together. Some of course are more playfully than others be nature, but they were all happy and everything was very clean. They said they do range from $1000-10,000 a pup, depending on the breed. I did see two that were 50% off but they were snatched up of course. But that’s something to consider.I personally didn’t choose a puppy from them because they are not potty trained and you would have to do the ground work and I am not ready for all of that . But if you are looking they are a great option.
May 12 · X MillyI got Cookie 2 months ago in Petland, I took him to another vet than the one that provide for free and he has always been due to the distance, he was totally fine, and the vet said that he might have some kind of warm (I forgot the name) before but it might come from the mum, since they saw the vaccination copy, but that proves that they are honest about the dog!He was 3 months old the time I got him. It's my 1st canine, I have so many questions to ask, they can give me all the suggestions. The man staff I got was only 3 days, he did let me play with Cookie and enjoy our time. When I was with Cookie, he was very active and can't stop licking me, and he allowed me to touch him everywhere, I could open his mouth to stop him biting my shoelace, I could touch his paws, his tummy, which helped me groom him later. I tried to keep his hair long for 1.5 months to see how long his hair can gets which you can see the recent photo of how much hair he have grown for 2 months on his ears that I decided to keep long, and definitely he has been groomed!I stayed there almost for 3 hours to get my credit score since I'm here in the state only for an internship, but the lady staff helped me to ask the manager and come back and forth for trying to get me approved. Which also gave me a chance to observe my puppy more!He was quiet in the Petland crate but this is what I need, this helped me to train him on potty training separation anxiety and bringing him to the vet before he has all vaccination done. I also used the bigger rabbit water bottle to get through until my hanging water bowl arrive.I saw a few staff at the back preparing things and a lot of puppies were excited! They just lack interest with playing with each other since they have been together everyday. New in puppies were playing and fighting with each other and have so much interest with people outside the window! The male staff carried everything I bought and they gave in the package down to my Uber for me! I asked for a towel which is in his crate as it could help with separation anxiety and they totally understand that and gave me that for free! They helped me register my dog with AKCPI.Although I was not able to find how his parents looks like but I am doing a DNA breed test for him.
June 28 · Antonia YauI'm very pleased with the customer service team that I received. Not just one team member but all of them made me comfortable and welcoming. I got me miniature schnauzer and I'm very pleased with her. And I appreciate how they give you a nice starting kit to go with your purchase... I wish I could sow happy and please with my baby pup Missy...
April 24 · Linda Harris-AveryWould give 0 stars if I could. Place is a puppy mill that treats the dogs like crap. They are essentially on metal grates and forced to lay there. Horrible place. Horrible place. Animals look severely mistreated. Place needs to be shut down. My dog bought there years ago, had health issues and passed away young. I am not saying the puppy mill thing is correlated but puppy mills do cause health issues.
July 20 · Charlie KirshnerDo. Not. Buy. From. This. Place!!! This is a picture of a dog that is at their facility!! They wanted $1200! That is absolutely outrageous, they claim they have “affordable” prices for dogs but wanna charge $1200 for a dog that looks like she has a neurological issue. Not to mention that they used a picture of her when she was just a little pup and not what she looks like now on their website. Also!!! That $1200 price is 75% off of what they originally had her for! I know the owner is just going to reply with a generic “we’re very happy about your input” response but don’t buy from them.
