★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I don't know where to start. This establishment is absolutely terrible, and I regret that I ever brought my animals to them. One of the vets (I believe Dr.Martin) was the only vet that I felt comfortable with. The owner is rude, inconsiderate, and lacks any kind of compassion for the pets or their owners. She talks to you like you should know as much as she does.I had started taking my cats to this vet back in 2015/2016. From day one, I noticed that they had no patience for the pets that they "take care of" and they had no patience for the pet owners. Whenever an issue would arise, it was up to me to call and inquire. The vet almost NEVER reviewed anything that was listed in the breakdown that is provided once your appointment is over (the breakdown includes weight and health related notes.)My senior cat ended up developing HCM ( Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy ) which developed into Congestive Heart Failure. When the office noticed that he had a heart murmur, not only did they not talk to me about it, but they also told me to not worry about it when I called to inquire about the breakdown. Come the next appointment, the vet asked me if I had looked into his heart murmur. What? You told me that it was nothing. That nothing turned into a life changing and ending situation. For reference, my cats pro-BNP levels were at 1500 with the range of concern at 270+. Now, vets cannot know everything, and I don't expect them to. What I do expect is that they will discuss what they find with the pet owners, and be as informative as possible. Medford Pet Clinic dropped the ball in this area on more than one occasion. When Congestive Heart Failure took my cat away from me, I called the office to tell them of his passing. They didn't offer condolences. They didn't send me a card. They acted like they didn't care. Like he was just a way to get money. I took him to their office for nearly a decade, and I am so taken aback by their lack of care. My cats Cardiologist, who he had only seen 3 times, both left me a voice-mail and sent a card.Let's move onto my dog. I took him to the office when he was a puppy, and the vet was immediately confrontational with me over his temperament and where I got him from. Once again, she acted like I should have known as much as a vet knows. Over the course of years, this office consistently traumatized my dog by their lack of patience and understanding. Instead of taking their time with an obviously anxious dog, the owner shoved a muzzle onto him, when he was a puppy, and told me that he was aggressive. For reference, my dog is completely fine with other vets. In fact, he has had ZERO issues with his new vet. I took him to the Revere office, and I was equally upset with my experience. I brought him to get his teeth cleaned, which is a daylong procedure. When I came to pick him up, the representative threw him into my arms and he was DRENCHED in his own urine. On top of this, the office did not provide any instructions with the medication that I needed to give him, forcing me to call and ask. There are other minor things that annoy me about the Medford office specifically. They book appointments and you end up being taken 20 to 30 minutes late every single time. This results in them making you feel like you are taking up too much of their time, and the appointments feel rushed. On a number of occasions, I had to remind them of when my older cat needed blood work, and I don't feel that is acceptable on the part of the office. When you call, they are very rude and place you on hold for extended periods of time. When I called to ask for the documentation for my remaining pets, the office acted like I wasn't nearly a decade long customer and offered no indication that they even cared that I was going elsewhere. Please do not take your pet here. I am more than ecstatic that I found a new office where I feel like my pet's matter to the vets who are helping me take care of them.Never again will I support this establishment.
September 13 · Crystal HenryThis review is for both Medford & Revere pet clinic (same company) I told Medford pet clinic several times I DID NOT want his tail shaved at all. They said ok and booked it for Revere. This is not for "styling" reasons. This is strictly to get his matted furr off as it hurts them and he refuses to let me brush him. I was going every year to the winchester location with no problem but they stopped doing it there. I just feel so bad they ruined his tail. Can't complain to them on the phone cuz can't even get through to them!!
September 13 · Susanne IacovonePLEASE never go to this pet clinic no matter how desperate you are. Just got charged $300 dollars for them to not even do anything CLOSE to what I came there for (just a quick shave to my pet)
March 21 · Molly OConnorVet is so rude! Takes pleasure in knowing that you don’t have enough money to help my cat! She told me ,: you don’t even have $500.00! As it was I used my grocery money to pay for my cat! $155.00! 6 months ago she changed $70.00. Now it went up to $100.00. Just to walk in the door! Extremely rude! No need to be condisending!
December 01 · maryann sperlingaDr.Olga and her team have been taking care of my cat for 8 years! From spaying her when she was 6 months old at the Charlestown location, to her yearly check up’s, a dental removal last year at the Revere location, to treating a skin rash earlier this year and now we’re back for a dental cleaning. We’ve always been treated very well here and my girl feels comfortable with Dr.Olga and her team! Very happy overall with the care my baby receives here.
