People For Animals Inc Reviews
My experience was very good, I was one of last ones to come in the morning, took me only 30min to bring my dog in and 10mins to pick him up, staff is very professional and understandable, any other clinic would charge me triple for the procedure. I know he looks sad on the pic but the other day he was happy as normally. Took the thing out in 5 days and everything came out perfect
March 14 · Julia HerreraAbsolutely wonderful service and great doctors!Breed: Miniature Poodle. Sex: FemaleI was very nervous about the procedure since it was my first time spaying a dog. My poodle is a purebred miniature, and the breeder advised waiting until after her first heat and then 5 months after that. I did my research and got quotes from different clinics (my vet wanted rediculous amount of $975). This clinic’s prices were unbeatable. The care my dog received was excellent. She recovered from the operation quickly and there's no scar at all. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We went back for all her booster shots as well.Pro-tip: Buy a surgery recovery suit before the operation! My dog hated the cone and refused to wear it, but the suit made a huge difference. There’s also a donation box in the office, so you might even find a recovery suit there for free and return it after you’re done for others to use.Highly recommend!
July 14 · O KudinaI Love the way they handle my big baby. She is so spoiled and I havent had any problems taking her to the clinic. She still wont let me cut her nails but. We are getting there slowly. Somalia 1yr Loves her big little sister Symphony 12yrs 11 yrs difference
June 13 · ShaRon OrtizMy overall experience was okay. The front desk and the nurses were all friendly—they gently took my dog in their arms, which I appreciated. However… I honestly have no way of knowing what exactly happened during the surgery or what my dog went through, or how she experienced it. I initially gave a very positive review yesterday, but later realized that my puppy’s constant tearing after leaving the clinic wasn't (or wasn't just) due to pain — she actually developed something like keratitis. She’s had excessive tearing and eye discharge for six consecutive days… I’m really unsure about the hygiene conditions inside the clinic. When I came to pick her up, she smelled really bad—even though I had just bathed her the day before. I noticed a lot of feces around her rear, and there was a strong smell of vomit in the Elizabethan collar, along with some signs that it had been wiped. I suspect she might have had an accident during the anesthesia and possibly vomited afterward as a side effect. But for the next ten days, I couldn’t give her a proper bath—only basic cleaning. When she first came out of the clinic, she looked so pitiful. She stared at me, but it felt like her eyes didn’t recognize me. After the anesthesia wore off, she became lively again, though there was always some scabbing around the wound.Over the following days, she seemed to be in a lot of discomfort. She was constantly teary-eyed and cried frequently—much more than usual. Her eye discharge was nearly twice as much as it normally is, and I could tell the wound must have been painful. Unfortunately, the pain medication only offered limited relief…Suggestion: the pain relief seemed to have limited effect, and many dogs may struggle with wearing a traditional hard Elizabethan collar. I would recommend preparing a soft e-collar / even a pillow, surgical recovery suit, or dog diapers as gentler alternatives.
May 29 · K NelkThe Robbinsville location of PFA has been incredibly disappointing. My mom and I brought our cat here to be neutered, and from the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. Despite having a waiting area, we were not allowed to wait but were asked to wait in the car. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting patients or pet owners. We also brought our small dog in for a rabies shot, and after the procedure, he began vomiting bile. We were understandably concerned and also had some follow-up questions about our cat’s recovery. From Tuesday evening (the day of the surgery) through Saturday, we called multiple times and left several voicemails—but no one ever picked up or called us back.Out of desperation, we finally contacted the Hillside location, and the difference was night and day. They responded immediately and were kind enough to squeeze us in for an appointment. It’s clear that the Robbinsville staff lack basic customer service skills and give the impression that they’re doing you a favor rather than providing a professional service. I was shocked at the dismissive behavior of the front desk team. We will not be returning to this location, and I sincerely hope they make changes—for the sake of other customers who deserve better.
