★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff here are so friendly. I had the best experience in a time of concern for my dog Ziggy and me. They were so helpful and made everything so smooth. We had to return after Ziggy’s surgery because the bandages came off and they tried to bandage him again but his big head was an issue so they found an alternative which they were so kind to email me so i can purchase it, then they explained what i needed to do in detail. Will highly recommend you guys over and over. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for taking such good care of Ziggy!
August 21 · Cristian ErazoI’ve never left a bad review anywhere but the person in aquatics was incredibly rude just now. After waiting ten minutes for help, they interrogated me when I asked to buy $3.00 of minnows for a frog. When I told them I’ve been caring for the frog for 9 months and I’m confident in my purchase, they accused me of “flexing” then yelled at me as I left the store with my kids. We were in and out of Petsmart in minutes and my frog is happily hunting for minnows.
June 13 · Erin GoodwinThey shaved my dogs whiskers off. Dogs whiskers are not supposed to be touched, it is apart of their sensory, it can harm their wellbeing to be trimmed. Whoever shaved her should have known this!
August 03 · Bella PavlinaI’ve had a few good experiences here in the past—friendly staff and nice haircuts for my pup. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been very disappointing.Last week, my appointment was canceled about an hour before. I understood that things happen, but it was frustrating since my wife and I had rearranged our work schedules for drop-off, and we had already given my anxious dog his prescribed Trazodone to prepare. I let it slide and rescheduled. This week, however, the same thing happened again—canceled just 45 minutes before. I explained that this was the second week in a row, and that my dog had already been given his medication. At that point, I was told Petco doesn’t allow Trazodone, which was surprising because I’ve always been upfront about it. I’ve even joked about it during past visits, and no one ever mentioned it as an issue until now. What bothered me most was the response when I said I’d need to find a different groomer. Instead of any apology or acknowledgment, I was met with a cheerful “Oh, that’s ok, bye”—which felt dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances.I wish I could continue here, but after two last-minute cancellations and poor communication, I’ll be looking elsewhere.(2 stars, not 1, because of the good haircuts he got originally)
August 18 · Adam AroestyPetco confirms they have a bait and switch policy. They offer pet care and services. Unfortunately, they have a highly abusive staff. They sent the following voice mail as a reminder. Apparently, if you don’t infer that Petco need you to reconfirm the confirmed appointment? They insult you and throw you out. Including toddlers.Corporate reviews this and decided the behavior is fine as long as they gaslight you. Beware. This company has a serious abuse problem. They will not fix it.This review is compliant with the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). It is accurate.
