When considering where to take your pet for veterinary care, it is important to weigh all factors, including service, communication, and overall client experience. Based on the provided reviews from actual customers, some pet owners have expressed concerns regarding their experiences at this location. One customer described being "incredibly frustrated" with what they perceived as a "lack of customer service, lack of communication, lack of explanation of things they are doing." They also noted a situation where a service they requested, a nail trim, was not performed on two separate occasions and that a fecal test was incorrectly marked as "denied." Another review highlighted a different set of concerns, citing dissatisfaction with the handling of their 14-year-old cat's progressive kidney dysfunction. This client expressed that critical information was not communicated directly by the vet, but rather by a technician who couldn't fully answer their questions. The client also felt that their concerns were "repeatedly dismissed" and that a request for additional testing was "brushed off." They went on to suggest that while Banfield allows for monthly payments on their services, the actual costs are comparable to other hospitals that may provide what they believe is better care. They concluded by highly discouraging others from seeking care at Banfield and recommended finding a veterinarian who will take "valid concerns seriously" and care for a pet "as their own." These are important insights for any pet owner to consider when making a decision about their pet's health. The choice of a veterinarian is a personal one, and it is vital to find a practice that aligns with your expectations for communication, transparency, and quality of care. It is always wise to research and perhaps visit a few different practices to find the best fit for you and your beloved pet.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have taken my kitten here three times recently. I am incredibly frustrated with the lack customer service, lack of communication, lack of explanation of things they are doing and not doing! My most recent visit, they lied on paper saying I denied a Fecal test, which is not true! I also the last two visits requested for my cat’s nails to be trimmed and I’m both visit they didn’t do it! The first time I reminded them the second time I left the exam room and went to the front desk to check out And pay. And that’s when I found out my cat nails were not trimmed. There’s definitely a lack of listening and communication on the staff part. How can you run a thriving business if there is no communication?! Makes me no longer want to bring my cat to this company location
August 21 · Noel PiattiI am extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with the services provided by Banfield pet hospital. My cat is 14 yrs old, she has had signs of progressive kidney dysfunction on her labs over the past 2 years which were not discussed with me. At her most recent appointment the vet did not even speak with me directly about her worsening creatinine (a marker of kidney function). Rather, a technician who could not clearly explain what was wrong with her labs or address my questions was sent on the vet’s behalf. Worst of all, her declining kidney function was attributed to dehydration and my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. And when I even requested additional testing for chronic kidney disease (such as SDMA), it was brushed off.Banfield is a corporation that simply lets you divide their service fees into monthly installments - the actual annual costs are comparable to many other veterinarian hospitals who provide far better care. I highly discourage anyone from seeking care at Banfield, instead, find a veterinarian hospital near you that will provide better evidence-based health care, will take your (valid) concerns seriously, will spend the time to discuss lab work/exam findings and next steps, and will care for your fur baby as their own.For those who live in South Jersey, Mount Laurel hospital is slightly more expensive but if you have the means, I highly recommend initiating care or transferring care there. For the health, well-being and longevity of your beloved animals, I promise you, it’s worth it.
August 04 · Ananthi RajamoorthiI was worried I would have to put my dog down. The doctor was assuring and very professional. He assured me she was just nervous about traveling and she was in great shape for 17. I deal with Banfield in Florida. It is great they are everywhere.
July 01 · WayneI feel the need to share my awful experience at Banfield. I took my dog, Lola, a lab husky, to the vet on March 8 because she was breathing heavily. We were really worried and just wanted to know what was wrong. The vet suggested doing blood work for $225 and an X-ray for $400. After making us wait for four hours, they said they weren't sure what was going on. They mentioned it could be a lung infection or maybe a tumor, but they had no clear answers. The uncertainty was frustrating, especially after spending so much money. They ended up sending us home with antibiotics, but we didn't really know what was wrong with her. Later that same day, we found Lola dead. I can't express how heartbroken I am, and I truly believe the care she received was not up to par.Honestly, don't take your pets to this place.
March 14 · Devin WillisGreat experience every time, I have been bringing my 2 dogs here for all their needs for 10 years, very helpful, kind and frienldy.
